That is.... Nuts! Thank you, and hope I never have to meet you.
That's cool.. Nice to have kit like that over here now.. Who needs the keys from the debtor anymore. good man.
I love Century! we have almost the same exact truck/setup.
A Vulcan 812 will do exactly the same thing as well as other manufacturers.
At least 20 other brands of self-loading Wreckers that can do this.
Yes one of the vest is the Vulcan Intruder.
I'm a Brit living in Taiwan and here they always use the dollys no matter what. They use Ford F150 tow trucks. Most cars are autos here like the US. Whereas in the UK, most cars are manual and when I was there they used to just pick the car up and put it on a flatbed to "tow" it away. Not sure if they still do it like that, haven't been back in a good 4 years or so.
Can you move other cars if it’s all the way around the car you have order for take ? Is that legal to move other cars a little bit over to have access to the target car ?
32 thumbs down are people who are waiting for their cars to be repossessed
The UK's finest !!
East to tow away :) We just use our Dollys wheeels which enable us to have total lift.
Probably not the only wrecker lol. But that was impressive to say the least
thats so badass i want that truck
All day long I do this
When driving back into the car does the wheel lift turns angles only by pushing against the car or is there a button that turns it?
no you have to push against the car and the center pivots, at least that's how it works on our Century.
Impressive
what's gona happen to the hand brake?
most people don't use the parking brake from my experience.
Smooth
@thorshammer1348 ok thanks for the tip i will do that next time
Tinton3w you would be surprised at what us professional tow truck drivers can do. All the time I get people scratching there head bro
I loved Miller products... Come check out my real repo videos and watch me do this out on the streets... Good video to show the capabilities of the bed... now we want to see it in action.
I carry Bolt cropper so can snip the hand brake cable, thats beeter than busting a window, and allclients are happy with that.
moonpig44 bolt cropper? wtf....you mean boltCUTTER
@@rjr1227 people use different wording in different parts of the world. lol!
You would rather damage the actual vehicle instead of just unlocking it to release the break or throwing dollies on it??
Whats the name of the back bed of the tow truck
Hi There
It’s Century Midnight Express
Thanks
@@moonpig44 yes indeed! same model we have
Is this truck now in france m8
Yes I sold it to a guy who works around Paris
What if someone runs a chain through all the rims?
Tow dollys
Nice
On the streets it’s hard
Yeah it's back m8 nr liverpool
that crunch sound @ 0:34 doesn't sound healthy
i do that with vulcans and jerr dans daily
I've got it now
So is it back in UK ? I bought it in 2004 from LA and shipped it back to uk. When I got it it had 58000 miles on it.When I sold it it was 252,000 miles.
Love the truck but I could not take it into London anymore as the LEZ laws all changed. I repossessed so many cars trucks and vans with that truck it was amazing
I have some Diesel filters for it and some Oil filters as well for sale if your interested. I changed the oil every 5000 miles as recommended by fords and I think that's why the truck lasted so well.
Good luck
Actually, tell a lie, I think they are F250s.
to all these people like, "but awd, immobilizers, or low clearance, etc. etc."
pick one end up, set it on dollies, pick other end up...drive away...

That's nothing..try putting them back in the same position.
😎
other trucks can do not just Century
oK ILL TAKE YOUR ADVICE AND NOW STRAP IN FIRST
Try that on dry pavement, your lucky it didnt jump out of the claws you johnny-come-lately brit !always strap the passenger side !
Even on dry pavement These Arms will grab hard enough to drag a car.
every new truck in miami can do that
Wait till he tears the fucking oilpan off......
that's because it's MADE IN AMERICA!!!!
Actually the first wheellift was invented in Canada (cradle snatcher) there is one in the towing museum in Chattanooga, they were made by Vulcan (now owned by century) who also built tank recovery wreckers for the Canadian army
Hi reddit
hahaha try and tow my jeep with 2 transfer cases with a standard shift lock and no e-brake... ive had a tow truck driver snap both 1500 dollar driveshafts
Peaches3046 easy using dolly wheels.. same with awd
Asserting Word you say that, but if you actually ever repo a vehicle you'd know you're trying to get in and out, and probably don't know the specs of every given car and what the owner has done to it. Or, perhaps you actually do have the ability to know these things by simply looking at it, and take your sweet time checking for every rigged contraption someone could come up with while they go grab their gun to stop you. Most tow truck drivers on the other hand aren't that careless, and are also tow truck drivers and not mechanics for a reason; they don't know very much about cars, other than towing them.
