    At least 20 other brands of self-loading Wreckers that can do this.

    I'm a Brit living in Taiwan and here they always use the dollys no matter what. They use Ford F150 tow trucks. Most cars are autos here like the US. Whereas in the UK, most cars are manual and when I was there they used to just pick the car up and put it on a flatbed to "tow" it away. Not sure if they still do it like that, haven't been back in a good 4 years or so.

    Can you move other cars if it’s all the way around the car you have order for take ? Is that legal to move other cars a little bit over to have access to the target car ?

    When driving back into the car does the wheel lift turns angles only by pushing against the car or is there a button that turns it?

    • @jlc7300
      @jlc7300 3 роки тому

      no you have to push against the car and the center pivots, at least that's how it works on our Century.

      So is it back in UK ? I bought it in 2004 from LA and shipped it back to uk. When I got it it had 58000 miles on it.When I sold it it was 252,000 miles.
      Love the truck but I could not take it into London anymore as the LEZ laws all changed. I repossessed so many cars trucks and vans with that truck it was amazing
      I have some Diesel filters for it and some Oil filters as well for sale if your interested. I changed the oil every 5000 miles as recommended by fords and I think that's why the truck lasted so well.
      Good luck

      Asserting Word you say that, but if you actually ever repo a vehicle you'd know you're trying to get in and out, and probably don't know the specs of every given car and what the owner has done to it. Or, perhaps you actually do have the ability to know these things by simply looking at it, and take your sweet time checking for every rigged contraption someone could come up with while they go grab their gun to stop you. Most tow truck drivers on the other hand aren't that careless, and are also tow truck drivers and not mechanics for a reason; they don't know very much about cars, other than towing them.
