DJI O3 Air Unit Video Recording - How to record without a DJI Controller! Map buttons - beta flight

The way to record on the O3 Air Unit with a DJI controller is to start and stop the recording in the DJI goggles! However, the goggles must be set to record to both the O3 Air Unit and the Goggles micro SD card.

You do not - can not map button functions to the 03 Air unit Camera to non-DJI controllers.
As a new guy to the hobby, I was stuck on this problem for hours because I was trying to map the controller buttons to the camera in beta flight. Which intuitively makes sense but does not work.

thanks, this helped. I think adding that the 5d button on the integra goggles pulls up the record option.
Ehy I just pressed both in goggles 2 but he only records in the goggles and not on the o3; do you think only for trasmission is better to dont record? For a lower latency ecc? Thanks

Remember to arm before hitting record. I thought I was recording, armed and flew, stopped recording before powering off, yet no file was on the sd card.

i see in my DJI goggles 2 to start recording, but how do i know it is recording both on the goggles sd card and the 03 air unit? where is the option in the settings to select "both" to record (?) from this swipe setting in the gogggles UI (?) . i got sd cards for both and i am noob too yeah
Yes you should see two icons one for the googles one for the O3 air unit. Test though to verify your recording to both.
