- Welcome to Episode 5 of Dregs to Dracula. As we finish up Act 2, we're met with a slog through the end of the Act. So far, the strat I used feels like it can get punished with bad RNG and huge benefits with good RNG. As long as you keep to the strategy, you will mitigate the distractions.

In this episode it looks like both your tailor room and your workshop room don't work, because the doorway ("castle entrance" between them is missing.
Tailor floors end up not doing anything :(

Also why is your castle in the sky? Is this an anti raid tactic?
Couple reason. If I decide to build out my castle for raid defense, it's easier if I start from the back personally (as long as you make the entrance to your castle correct), and then also because castle ruins will regrow underneath it, so I can have a consistent stone farm growing back over time.
I ran a caster build for my brutal run outside of Dracula. Ball lighting and ice nova directly following a chaos barrage opener absolute slaps, with maleficer gear
mentioning due to the spider queen question. Worked for me, might be useful if you want to experiment with a mid range mage build :)
Yeah that combo is really good. You should try it with bone explosion and see how the condemn does in amplifying even more
So my first attempt yesterday running double counters did not go well. Lol
I need a lot more practice with them so a question i have for you.
Which counters are ideal and for which situations IE boss battles, particular zones or enemy types, PVE etc.

Bloodrite and discharge are probably the overall best PvE counters.
Cold snap doesn't give s, so it'll get triggered and you'll get hit by any followups.
Mist Trance is really weak without the proper jewels, and even then it's not the best for PvE.
Bloodrite is EXTREMELY good for PvE as it gives a lot of s, and the jewel effects are really good.
Discharge is probably the overall best because it stuns the small mobs and instantly applies static. Massive DPS increase

did you notice you aren't getting the tailoring floor bonus?
Lol yeah eventually we found the issue
I dont know if you realized but your tailoring room was not complete, i think it did not have 1 doorway so you didnt get the bonus from the floor

You are a legend bru. I try to defeat these bosses but man I can't...
So I almost never see people use the on the greatsword. I know the pistol is "better" due to the added mobility. Yet I see the on the slashers used a lot, but not the greatsword. Slashes and Greatsword feel about the same to me. Maybe the slasher one last longer, or people just like slashers more... I don't know.
Slasher is on Q, which has no competition for other I-frames. It's also faster and ends safer generally. Also can't take damage from counters if they happen to counter you.
Greatsword E is fine and it lasts a long time, but it's extremely easy to counter or avoid, and the range is significantly less than slasher Q.
If you're not really into using pistols much, GS + slashers is just fine to cover options on both weapon skills. Pistol E just has so many benefits to it, and pistols crush PvE hard.
I think I get how discharge works in PVE it actually works like a barrier not a counter
