I bought a new S2000 back in the day. Sold it with 5000km as it was just frustrating. Now have a Sunday car of a 2007 E81 130i manual. I assure you, no comparison.

Honda S2000 is an icon. However it was little faster than the contemporary Civic Type R and slower than a modern Hyundai I20N. Still love it though.

Which gen CTR? The EP3 yes but the FD2 was sharp on the track and quick too.

Of course, 3.0 liters 6 cylinders and turbocharged vs 2.0 NA 4 cylinders

@@KuyaOly the BMW 130i is a 3.0 NA no turbo , puts out 265bhp, the S2000 puts out 237-247 bhp, so pretty similar, the thing is the S2000 only weighs 1275kg and the bmw 130i weighs a whopping 1460kg, so really the S2000 should have been quicker, especially on a twisty track. probably down to driver's skills , interesting that the 130i is significantly heavier but gets to 100kph a little quicker though.....
