Just got back from Kentucky. Bought 34 bottles: big buys WT 12, EW 12, AE bib, M10 rye, fill bottles at M and HH. Missed HH13 yr 25th😢
Out of all the distillery tours I’ve done Makers is my favorite…it is in the middle of nowhere but gorgeous 😍
I got a Blanton’s at BT as a consolation after missing the Old Fitz 13 VVS at HH… lol Great Haul!

Picked up the HH select stock brandy finish. Honestly it's worth the price tag
I spent 4 days in Louisville last weekend and thought I did good, but my haul not quite as epic as yours. You say you saw nothing at BBC. I picked up a gift shop exclusive Small Batch Stave Finish. Did that not interest you guys? I also went to Buffalo Trace at 3:30 on Saturday afternoon and they had a ridiculous amount of Blanton’s, had to buy the obligatory bottle. Don’t understand people waiting in line early morning for these, they seem to be cranking them out. Also, damn it was hot and I live in Florida!

Congrats!!! Very epic haul. I wouldn't have passed on the Old Forrester Single Barrel Rye but that's just me. I can't wait for my trip down to Kentucky for the bourbon festival in September.
Great video. Maker's grounds are beautiful and I thought the tour was well worth it. When we went they really didn't have anything special so didn't do the dipping.
I think willett does burgers on Saturdays only. If you book an 11am reservation you’ll get one. Last time I went the bartender told me they had 24 burgers to sell that day. Cheers!
