I picked up 2 of the JE Pepper Decanters and haven't opened one yet. My go to must haves 1&2-Wild Turkey RB & 101 3- Bulleit Rye 4- JW Dant BIB 5- Larceny (any) 6- Early Times BIB 7- Redwood Empire Pipe Dream 8- Bardstown Origins BIB 9-Coopers Craft 100 10 Four Roses single barrel **Russell's Reserve 10 and Jameson Black Barrel **
Old forester 100 proof might be my go to readily available and beginner friendly. My dad tried the OF 100 I pulled out when we were smoking the other day. He’s not a whiskey drinker, but her really loved it. And at $25, who can beat it?
Nice selections! I can’t find fault in any of your choices. I do have the Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve 9-year at all times. I finally found a Ben Holladay One Barrel the other day and it’s very good at 119.2 proof. Distribution does suck! I saw another bourbon UA-camr go to a Kroger drop in Kentucky and they had over 200 bottles of Eagle Rare, over 200 bottles of Blantons, over 300 bottles of Stagg, plus many others! All at one location! Unbelievable and I have never seen a Stagg in the wild.
Nice list. James E Pepper is a banger. For me, it's 1910 that has to be on my shelf and I'm a big fan of the Still Austin Cask strength Ryes and Bourbons. great value and available
Great list, I want a couple of those J. E. Pepper decanters for my collection. If I could only have a few bottles for the rest of my life from one distiller, they would be OF 100, 1910 and 1920, I could survive.
Good list, I have most of those. The only bottles I would add that I always want to have a bottle of in my collection are Peerless Double Oak Bourbon & Rye (availability questionable) and Sagamore double oak rye.
Wow a youtube channel not telling us how great $100 dollar bottles are..your selection is pretty spot on as far as I'm concerned. OGD 114 and Ezra Brooks 99 are my go to bottles
I have not seen most of these on the shelves. I do really like the OF1920 and will take that over the Rare Breed any day. You mentioned Russel's Reserve as being pricey but the 10Y is a great value IMO and I actually like that better than the RB. I think I might have to revisit the WT brand again. I have had a bottle of the 101 and RB and did not think they were that good but so many people like it. I have a bottle of the ECBP and looking forward to opening that.
I agree with all of these bottles except James Pepper Decanter. A bottle I would throw on the list instead of James Pepper Decanter is Heaven Hill BIB or Barrell Craft Foundation (but who knows how much longer Barrell will be around). Heaven Hill BIB has been dropped to $40 in my state and you can find it at every liquor store, grocery store, Costco, and Walmart for $40-45.
Picked up Elijah Craig toasted barrel, James E Pepper Decanter, Redwood Empire Lost Monarch, Green River Wheated bourbon and Hack Daniels SBBP Rye. All of these bottles were on sale.
For me it's gotta be the JDSBBP's, both the tennessee and the rye, I like the tennessee better than rare breed and just less than ECBP. Cheers guys, happy sunday!
I saw a Pepper Decanter in South Denver area just the other day. But every store owner or store Bourbon guy I talk to has flat out stated that distribution sucks right now in Colorado. That we can't get Benchmark Full Proof here is a travesty. The whole of Buffalo Trace's distribution to our state makes no sense. I hear of Eagle Rare and Stagg on shelves in WalMarts in Arizona! EH Taylor is on shelves throughout the South East. Blanton's are in Costco in California. But Colorado just gets passed right over.
I really like your picks. Every time you do a list of picks, I write them down and purchase them as I can afford them. I have no grips with your choices, and how could any person find fault with either of you.
Great list! Love the content! You mentioned Knob Creek, well yeah, that’s #1 for me - Knob Creek 12, as long as it stays $49 in CT, will be the GOAT. Rare Breed a close 2nd! Cheers, guys.
Old Forester is my favorite distillery. 1910 and 1920 are always on my shelf but I hear from a lot of people and whiskey tubers that the new batches are not nearly as good. 😟
Il love the Pepper decanter bottle my favorite one I have bought this year love your channel keep them coming ps also love anything from Holliday 🥃🥃❤️❤️❤️

Same, Wisconsin gets nothing but bourbon cream and traveler it’s really sad actually. Never seen a Weller or stagg in the wild

Great list. My must-haves list starts with Knob Creek 12 and Sagamore Spirit Rye Double Oak.
Very good list! 👍
Good list but here in Jersey there is no Bardstown. Funny thing with the Benchmark we got every one but bonded. Keep up the videos.

I can go Old Forester 1920 or 1910 love them both.

JD BP Rye is fucking PHENOMENAL.
Tin cup 10 and michters sour mash are my go to summer crushable bottles
Dear god - I love your channel, but to not include 4R Small Batch Select or Single Barrel is criminal!!
I know!!!!! I’m sorry! I would definitely include the single barrel! So pretend it’s there :) cheers!!!!
It is !!!👍🥃😉
What a solid list! Great selection! Cheers🥃
I’m going to the pepper distillery for a tour next month. I’m so excited. Going to turkey and Glenn’s creek too
Great list
Awesome list!
My 10...Redbreast cask strength, gold spot, rare breed, NBC cask strength Rye, Sagamore 8 year, Lost Monarch, penelope toasted rye, knob creek special reserve, ecbp store picks, Ben Holladay sweet wheat.
Hate I missed the maple finished light whiskey awesome list!
Old Forrester..Hell yeah!!
I saw a Pepper Decanter in South Denver area just the other day. But every store owner or store Bourbon guy I talk to has flat out stated that distribution sucks right now in Colorado.

Sipping the Bulleit 12 year rye right now!
Totally agree with Bulleit 12 year and Rare Breed but where are the Sagamore Ryes? Also 4 Roses single barrel and something from Redwood Empire
I really like your picks. Every time you do a list of picks, I write them down and purchase them as I can afford them. I have no grips with your choices, and how could any person find fault with either of you.

Cheers, guys.
Extremely cheap for knob Creek 12! I paid 129.99 😢
Lucky on the cheap price of 12!!!
Nice list!
Casey Jones is great too, came sugar and bourbon, over a Hunnert Proof!
Only two of those are available where I live (British Columbia, Canada): WT Rare Breed and Old Forester 1920.
OGD is 🔥👍🥃😉
OCD #5 is my new favorite
Rare Breed has that WT peanut skin funk at the end. I just can't get past it.
Old Forester is my favorite distillery. 1910 and 1920 are always on my shelf but I hear from a lot of people and whiskey tubers that the new batches are not nearly as good. 😟
Elijah Craig Toasted is insane also!!!!! So underrated. 55$ can't beat it.
It’s good, but I’ve never seen it for that cheap. $69.99 in my area.
@@deankruse4491 I live in ohio and we’re a control state and it’s set at 55$ which is nice when it drops
I agree with your list. LOL! Cheers.
I just saw a shelf full of ECBP C921, at a new shop in New Jersey.
Where abouts?
All the benchmark are good. I like Russell's better 👍
Il love the Pepper decanter bottle my favorite one I have bought this year love your channel keep them coming ps also love anything from Holliday 🥃🥃❤️❤️❤️
No 4 roses 😢 😉🥃👍
8 of 10 are not available in Alabama. Go figure.
I live in Alabama and have almost all of these bottles. Do you go to the allocated drops??
Forget about all these. Woodford Reserve is available in Alabama, nothing else is required.
So your saying the Best most AVAILABLE bottles according to You are Not? Available and you buy them out of state???
He bill does she have a twin sis for meeeeee😁
