First time really going in on pve build crafting. Please leave feedback.
I am really liking the difficulty of onslaught. Bungie did good.
It is not needed to mention sunbracers. It is expected that they are good.
Also try the Tusk of boar GL with hatchling on strandlock
DIM links (description or pinned comment, dealers choice) would be helpful. Great video, regardless. Haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I'm liking what I'm seeing :D
Id like to see "old meta revamped" sorta stuff, risk runner amplified titans, infinity knives hunters, novawarp being useful etc lol
Any thoughts on starfire protocol paired w ember of benevolence.
Get more underrated builds in here, the builds you mentioned are all just variations of the top build for every class, if you make a build video and say to use the 3 builds everyone is already using (Sunbracers, knockoff arc punch, and banner of war) then what's the point?
you’re telling me that people actually mix and match their builds to fit the situation instead of making 1 build and sticking with it for years?
This was the only thing I could do before loadout slots. I wasn't as smart a year ago, but ain't no way I was trying to reapply mods and armor pieces for 20 minutes before every raid
Wait what
I'd much rather have one build that can clear most activities by the skin of its teeth rather than ten optimal speed run builds for every encounter.
I have a Friend WHO is buildcrafting semi good builds every time U wanna do Something ? Wanna Run a quick easy gm? Sure let me craft a new build 20min
Can u Run a Rocket this Encounter ?
Sure new build tough, i'll be mute.
20min buildcrafting again for a 5min Encounter...
@@nathanpeterson5609 DIM / Destiny Item Manager? Does exactly that and has way more slots and tools to make good builds
cenotaph stasis warlock is really powerful here, turrets and divinity for add control, champion stun, and a constant influx of heavy ammo for the rest of the team.
i’d argue that Cenotaph isn’t really needed? idk maybe my team just hasn’t been using heavy enough. i can see the use case, but i feel like passing up on the double stasis turrets is too valuable. i like the idea a lot though
Wolfpack rocket spam. why need to freeze when u can nuke all the adds
I ran it with a guy wearing cenotaph yesterday and it was a breeze! Div or Ager's works really well here. Especially with the trace rifle modifier.
Cenotaphs is so nasty, the higher rank sabateurs (heavy shanks, captains, servitors, even explosive shanks) can get tagged which means you can basically use ghorn as a primary
Ran ceno on well with slice Incisor. had plenty of gjallhorn rockets to spread to all the baddies. def gonna try stasis with div though!
I'm pretty sure the tripmines respawn after use. I had a gold one blow a group up and a few seconds later it lit back up as if it was active again
They do, takes 4-5 seconds to respawn. I don't know if it goes faster with the upgrades
I think they only respawn after they are max level. I’ve never seen the base level trip mines respawn. I may be wrong.
@@Trebor_83rank 2 also respawn after a longer delay
Yeah those level 3 and 4 tripmines come back pretty quick
@@CaptinCalamity Oh ok! Nice to know!
Honestly orpheus rig hunter goes so insanely hard in this mode, it's amazing for area control and also the best for spark running
That Titan build is hilarious, and not unlike a Warlock build I'll be using tonight. Arclock Vesper of Radius, rifts around those decoys and in choke points with Rat King (or Traveler's Chosen if you want the rifts as fast as possible) to get close to enemies and for healing.
I'm also going to be trying that Felwinter's Helm build I mentioned on your Live this week. Should be a hoot.
I got my first legend clear primarily with Stasis lock with Verglass/Indebted Kindess and Osmiomancy, and eventually switching out of Verglass for the last 10 to Outbreak/Forbearance, and always switching to Phoenix Well on the boss round. You have obscene crowd control with stasis turrets and switching to Phoenix well allows for burst damage on the boss phase. You have all 3 champion types covered if you have a way to pierce barriers on Stasis.
After the solar warlock (aka easy mode) build I was not expecting the Titan build to be so unique. I will have to try that out. Thanks memesome.
I've been running Orpheus Rigs alongside any weapon with thresh on it, notably a Palindrome so its void and can help with majors. I don't have a squad to do legend but it reliably steamrolls normal 50 waves, especially in midtown.
Try voidlock with:
Contraverse hold
Chill Clip Riptide (unstop)
Graviton lance with divinity in back pocket to slap on before rally for the boss every 10 waves.
Corrective measure (subsistence adrenaline junkie)
Aspects: devour. Better nades for charging them.
Fragments: volatile rounds on nade kill. Weaken nades. Longer void buff duration. Lingering void nade duration increase.
Use the succ nade as often as possible. Get devour on kill then since I got a nade kill I have volatile rounds with graviton. Ads go boom.
Can use corrective measure in sticky situations.
Nova bomb whenever possible because you will get a lot of nova bombs with all the nade kills you're getting if you have triple Ashes to Assets slotted on helmet and 3x Firepower mods. I also slapped on 2x bomber mods (for if i need some nade energy in a pinch) and a time dilation so surge lasts longer.
Use void surges obviously.
If you just spam everything (nades, graviton, heavy, supers, all of it) you will find easy success and ultimate survivability.
For context: I did a wave 50 run and both my teammates had ~380 kills each. I had almost 1000.
D O U B L E P R I M A R Y
ok I'll try it later
@@Atlantic_dummie or just dont stun the unstoppable and die cuz your teammates cant stun either :P
May as well run a void trace rifle or something cus double primary is crazy
@@Gee-bg2rv have you ever used graviton 💀
@@Anoki_S1 but wait
riptide
Personally, my go-to exotic weapon is Eyes of Tomorrow. Near infinity heavy, use it to kill massive groups while your teammates take care of the smaller cleanup. Rockets after rockets. Pair with argent ordinance and you can even use it against the bosses that spawn
I was actually considering a build for it 1-2 weeks ago, but I ended up concluding the weapon is too awkward to use.
@@Revadike valid. I’ve strayed away from it tbh
I am now using getaway artists on arc warlock with Tesselation, with flashbang grenade. Also with the optional geomag hot swap for bosses. big damage numbers and arc souls
I've already been running this exact warlock build all season
The build i ran was a threadling primary, tesselation, and a demolitionist/hatchling cataphract. Swarmer warlock boots with mindspun invokation and weavers call. This build generated a truckload of orbs and consistantly topped kill counts while also granting survivability with orb pickups giving health and wovenmail.
Love using and tweaking TDTs builds to my playstyle. Im a Warlock main (pretty much the only thing I play), and I've had fun over the years taking these builds, modifying them to how I want, and hearing my fireteam on mic exclaim how ridiculous but effective they are. This Warlock build I just used but I think I may keep my forged Ammit and swap out Riptide for something like Round Robin w/ Perfect Float for the instant Unstoppable stun and increased airborne effectiveness seeing as I find myself in the air most of the time when I go ham.
If you wanna do Legend mode without having to think too much, then I suggest Orpheus Rig + Single Shadowshot. You can get it back within three waves at the absolute most and it stalls everything short of shielded skybombers.
As someone who has mained that since D2 vanilla (and was the one who used Bloodbind in D1), you are 100% correct.
Throw a Tether at a chokepoint, throw a Vortex grenade before you hit the ground (Dragonsbreath if you want to be a bastard) and watch them be deleted.
I was waiting for this
I use an explosive knife build for all pve modes. I think this will have that build show its formal glory
I use vex and rain of ríe with apex predator
Usually covers all bases in onslaught
One of the funnest builds I use is stasis warlock with wicked implement (doesn’t work without the catalyst) and also osmiomancy gloves with the stasis turret aspect and stasis shards when freezing targets to give more ammo to the wicked implement as with the catalyst the shards give it more ammo and overflows the magazine and it’ll also give you a ton of melee energy and if you use the breaking a stasis crystal to get more grenade energy and also the primary ammo does more damage to crystals and slowed or frozen targets and also the bigger damage burst from shattering a frozen target and then also damage from enemies gives more grenade energy with all of this you have a ton of ability energy and damage also a ton of ad clear
Arc warlock on Vesper was locking down areas with blinding rifts like crazy while easily handling mobs for me the other day.
I ran Voidlock with Outbreak/chromatic fire and had a relatively easy time. The child of the old God's was clutch for increasing damage to beefier enemies and the suppression from crit kills stupified enemies so they were less aggro. Boid grenade with weaken was great too for tougher enemies. I used arc initially for the blind which was great too but void worked better for me
On the hunter I'd actually use frosties over star eaters. Purely due to ability regeneration. If you haven't tried a shatter dive build, I'd recommend, it's a load of fun
severance enclosure on strand titan with flechette storm is crazy good add clear
For that strand titan an idea would be to use the ron sidearm for easy anti barrier or just a strand weapon in general for synergies or just a side arm for anti barrier
Honorable Mention for Warlocks and my recommandation is a swarmers build with wish keeper. The way you can just keep waves off the ADU by infinitly suspending them is awesome and the Threadlings crawl to everything they can find dealing havoc and destruction
Heres the team comp i used on my most relaxed clear so far.
-
Osmio turret spam+ager's
Strand synthos w/ glaive+sword
Orpheus Rigs Tether spam.
Bit of an oddball titan exotic, but I've been finding insane utility with Stronghold, of all things. You can soak up and block an essentially infinite amount of damage, stall tormentors and demolitionists infinitely if need be, completely stonewall bosses like the giant ogre and shrieker that can gun down your teammates with ease, body block waves to your hearts content, etc.
Best part is, you can run any exotic weapon and subclass you like! Strand with banner of war goes hard, but you can use void to spread the tankyness out, solar for some more cc, etc. It's super versatile!
My Well build I use uses fragments ashes, benevolence, char and combustion. Combustion makes for way more ad clear since every solar kill from your Well makes them ignite. Rays of Precision, ignition. I use Tommys Matchbook which is severely slept on. I've watched people struggle to land crits on unstops with Polaris to stun them while tommys will ignite them with just body shots
is that arc hunter build good for endgame content such as raids, dungeons and gms?
So for the Titan build if we don't have Tusk of the boar can we replace it with a different weapon?
Oh man let's go I love being recommended Sunbracers Well Warlock for the 50th time in a row
On my hunter Im usually
Herod - C as my primary weapon and Trinity Ghoul as my secondary an last dragon's breathe with moth keepers wraps
The grenade is changed to 2 rechargable moths the either give your teammates over shields and electrified moths circle adds and cleans up with AoE damage
Amazing video
@TDTProductions
can you put DIM builds in Description?
Dim links? I don't see them in the description
If you want basically unlimited orbs on titan I really recommend a thunderclap build with skullfort and heavy handed mod, don’t bother with the charge up (use a one two punch if you need higher damage) and spec into damage resist and you have a really fun normal difficulty orb generating machine!!
If you upgrade the trip mines to full where they turn yellow, they actually respawn on their own without having to be purchased again. I would do turrents and trip mines instead of decoys because you can use weapon rolls to slow the tide.
During the waves i have been using strand titan with wormgod caress, and winters bite. Only time i ever died was to suicide drones wave. Boss never died with the glaive, tormentors never died and i mean being right up on them and just wailing away with the glaive. Boss fight switched to pyrogale with gally or dragonbreath.
Pheonix protocol is all you need for warlock
I've using void Titan with control demolishion+ offensive bulwark, with the exotic second chance, using tusk of b/ supremacy, ros aragon, machine gun/leviathans breath. Swapping between waves and bosses my ros aragon has Repulsor so im constantly getting nades with gives it volatile and giving me constant health and overshield giving me more grenades and more melee to constantly de buffing enemies. And I rather pick bosses from a far in the latest rounds they hit super hard.
You can make the warlock build a great funnel for the hunter if you change the gauntlets to have tripple firepower
I’m going to try Gold Tusk fast ninja build. I’ll call it Trunks. This going to be fun.
Raiden Flux was nice to use in Onslaught
Stasis titan dominates the defense part. I swap to a dps solar build when needed(wave 10)
Behemoth is so much fun and literally built for defensive game modes like this. Big win for Behemoth mains
@@grouthorax3963 yes
Riskrunner against fallen with precious scars on titan is wildly overpowered like legitimately insane
Max level trip mines actually respawn after exploding, they aren't permanent but they have quite a few charges.
Here is one: briar binds w/ graviton (make sure you have feed the void and vortex grenades)
What would you suggest using instead of indebted kindness for the arc hunter build? I dont have the dubgeon
I have a wardens law with voltshot that's really fun. It's full auto.
@McMuffins42 isnt wardens law a kinetic? Or are you talking about brigand's law?
@sahejsinghgill1978 Brigand's, and it's not special so it doesn't work for what we need
Trip Mines do reset post rank 1 btw 😅
Onslaught is the first time I catch my Arclock lacking. I use Arc Warlock since Plunder, and I have a Geomag build since Witch.
I'm thinking about Strand with Karnstein and Vexcalibur. Sever, Woven Mail, Threadlings, Suspension, Overshield, Restoration, and Cure, all in one build. We'll see. I love the Titan build you have, too!
My Geomag build did pretty good on my first 50 round run last night. It did lack healing and champion stunning but that's because I was doing a weapon challenge. Nice build suggestion though.
Storm Dancer, works well. Get lots of kills which refunds super and gets stronger with each kill. Leaned into orb generation to help others get their supers up as well.
Try out Vesper
I just thought of this for a stupid build when final shape drops “strand hunter with the exotic cloak with the perk on that titan exotic with 2 gernades and a demolitionist weapon and tessellation” it might not work tho
Ok I have to say something about the three different defenses, this has been stuck in my head all day. Turrets, Decoy, Trip mine that was the order he specifically said. It means TDT!!! That’s the order to purchase defenses. It’s his channel name!! I’m not the only one who sees it right???
TDT u dont need to spec into melee regen on warlock. Run singing and youll always have it back cuz sunbracers u should run T10 melee
I LIKE that titan build
Honestly, the forsaken squad is really strong here.
Well, orig hunter and blade barrage just deals with everything.
I would recommend scatter signal over riptide. Unraveling rounds OP this season
And it can get slice
I could go the arc build… or I could keep making waves go boom with caliban’s hand
boom it is
I'm pretty sure dragon's breath has killed me more than anything as of recent. 😂
Any replacement for the sidearm for the hunter build? I don't own warlords ruin so was just wondering
It needs to be a special so the blind aspect works, I think salvagers salvo might work. Or the arc waveframe gl.
@@gwaihr2041 Ight bet, I'll keep that in mind, ty
ca you still get the sidearm
Solar Warlock with sunbracers is rly busted since it has survivability, infinite grenafes for big ad clear and decent dmg ares denial and ypu can put on conditional and a rocket for all champions coverage. For bosses just swap to rocket Izzy rotation or sum
Tripmines will re-set themselves when upgraded
Only the initial putchase is a 1 time only
The decoys can completely mess up the tormentor’s ai. Plus they turn into Shaxx which makes them objectively better than the turrets
I hate that Hunters keep being pushed into the support class, I wanna go aggressive and I simply can't
Wait until you see warlocks every raid lol
@@argoplayz1013 i mained warlock for a year and my friends never wanted to play with me because I refused to always be on well, that's why I changed to hunter, and now, back again to be a support :/
Then stop following the meta. Use what you want
Pretty sure the arc build isnt a support class but absolutely a agressive class smh. Stop capping abd stop crying as every other no skilled hunter.
You really doesn't know how to use Hunter lmao
For people looking for a decent Solar primary: Believe it or not, Epochal Integration is actually really good!
Every time you say “bless your faces”, it makes me miss Tobuscus
Apotheosis Veil + Heir Apparent almost let me on 50th round, is kinda broken against hive
I've never had to repurchase tripmines after they've exploded? They just like recharge.
Aw hell yeah sun bracers
Totally got baited by the Graviton Forfeit in the thumbnail lol
I did my legend run yesterday:
1x Sunbracer warlock
1x Phoenix Protocol Walrock
1x Orpheus Rigg Hunter (Me)
Kinda easy, everyone gets Super back quickly and we had nice add clear also
Void titan severance enclosure+code of thr commander. Nuff said🙃. No one gets wiped and infinity ability energy
Glaives go kinda hard for oh shit im about to die amidst the chaos
I'm mostly on Triton Vice + Edge of Concurrence these days the damage on Legend is no damn joke
I wonder if Helm of Saint-14 synergizes with the glaive bubble...
it does
65hp overshield instead of 45 and blinds enemies that enter but it actually disorients unlike the description so it can't stun unstopable champs
look mom I made it in the video! :P
I like running a banner + woven mail titan build. It's always simple and easy to do.
Idk how it is on legend, but the Tripmines are unlimited in normal mode, first level does 1 small explosion, second level does 2, and third does 2 big explosions, and they always reset after 3-5 seconds, so if a line of enemies run through the, every other enrmey triggers them
So on the list of dumb questions this one might be at the top of the list but what is that Illuminating Cape that the hunter is wearing at the start of the video
Psionic Stalker Cloak
A Sunbracers build? Daring today, aren't we 😂
I would advise not overlooking a crafted Tyranny of Heaven, with explosive head and incandescent with the current seasonal artifact you can delete every Add in encounters without using abilities and create a ton of orbs for your team.
I’d argue that decoys take higher priority over turrets. they’re both very good, but decoys have saved my life much more often than turrets have so far
Helm of Saint-14 + Edge of Action/Vexcalibut
I rest my case
Main enemy of this mode are the switches, sometimes they just dont work, we were at 40 and top switch wouldnt work, really heartbreaking
yall, remember, an insurmountable skullfort does exist.
Man, I REALLY need to get some money, because I don't have the relevant DLC to get Star-Eater Scales.
Tarrabah is really broken on solar warlock specially when you proc ravenous beast
TDT, after the announcements made in Bungie’s Developer Gameplay Preview trailer yesterday, are you at all AFRAID of the potential imbalance being introduced into Destiny 2’s PvP sphere?
I'll be honest about the build I used, Touch of Malice with Secant Filaments on Warlock. Touch of Malice with Empowering Rift absolutely eats the trash adds, and Charged with Blight helps Touch destroy enemies with higher HP. This build does live or die by devour though, so Secant Filaments has been my go-to for getting devour up but there are obviously other options available if you don't need the crutch
Void hunter with graviton.... Otheus rig..... 99 percent of my games and I'm happy. Never disrespect the tether
Why I'm happy about final shape. 1) more destiny at it's best. 2) the amount of stupid build is gonna be insane 😈😈😈
Where does the rocket side arm come form?
Warlord's Ruin dungeon
@@McMuffins42 thanks
Me and some of my clan mates were in the first 20 teams to beat it. Some things that are useful are not just your class, but your overall team comp. Sunshot, machine guns with firing line, and riptide or one two punch shotgun if you’re strand titan.
Our comp was strand titan with one two punch/sunshot, stasis lock with agers scepter, and Orpheus rig hunter. Overall we had little to no issues. Try to be mindful of your ammo reserves/supers and just always keep in mind that you need to always be prepared for random tormentor rounds
What heavy weapon would you use with the Titan build? Also, did you use Synthos or some other exotic armor piece?
@@V8ER88I swapped around a bit, but with the machine gun damage buff on legend I ended up using unwavering duty with firing line. A machine gun with surrounded isn’t bad either
And yeah I used synthos
Wait... final shape is going to be one big Stupid Builds DLC with that new class items coming. Oh boy...
Also, these builds look great.
So just play what we've been playing already got it!
PLEASE make a different titan build😭😭😭🙏
Can you even get that exotic glave anymore?
Witch Queen campaign on titan class
@@McMuffins42 don't you get those exotics form that rare event from neomuna? Where you can get all the new exotics?. And does the campaign needs to be on normal or hard mode?(Legends?)
You can get any of the exotic glaives from the message board in the enclave you just have to be on the class that the glaive is tied to (void=Titan, Solar=warlock, arc=Hunter)
wellspring activity for any subsequent glaive
also if you want to use the glaive as the center piece of the build and not a transplant a here is a build:
Break neck: shoot to loot/attrition orbs
edge of action: appended mag for 6 shots allowing 2 bubbles per mag
Any heavy of your choice
helm of saint
any armor with special finisher
Aspects
bastion,offensive bulwark
fragments
leeching,starvation,persistence,undermining
ward of dawn
shield bash
the rest do whatever you prefer
He’s finally doing PvE wow
Wha?? A Sunbracers build that doesn't go with Empyrean for infinite Restoration? Blasphemy!!
I'm kidding, of course. That play style is so frustrating, I'm glad for some variety.
I see graviton forfeit and I don't get a graviton forfeit build. Big smad
1 tip: dont do another map then midtown.
