If you've wondered why we haven't done much speculation about what's next, it's because ai didn't get much for concrete rumors, and now it's obvious because this was not what I had imagined from what I did hear!

unfrotunately half the shows are outdoor gigs during Europe summertime where it barely gets dark even by the end of the set so half the magic of the show is lost.

I have a good feeling Mariner will come back, but my pipe dream is that they pull out To Tame a Land again, it's such a majestic and underrated song and I kinda doubt they'll bring such an obscure song back but a man can dream.....

The whole Iron Maiden to Fear of the Dark thing got me thinking, that’s 9 albums. If they do 2 songs from each album that’s 18 songs which as a set list length I reckon is doable for them. Very excited nonetheless, I’ll be going to the Madrid show!

no mate, no way "no prayer for the dying" will have two songs, that album is their worst.
some songs are always in their setlist, even when they did the early years tours and played only the first 4 albums, some songs were the same old songs (great tour by the way).

@@mikatu yeh true. In all my years of following Maiden, they’ve always kinda played to a set formula. I don’t expect any real deep cuts from No Prayer, but off that album, Hooks in You and Bring Your Daughter stand out as songs that ‘could’ make the set list (if they did do 2 songs per album)
For such a special tour it would be nice if they played an extended set..... Maybe a 2.5 hour show? The 2 hour set just isnt long enough!

They didn’t play anything from beyond Fear of the Dark when I saw them on the Maiden England Tour in 2013. This sounds very similar.
@@vinaymulukutla358 They are ONLY playing songs from the "Iron Maiden" album up to the "Fear Of The Dark" album,possibly due to fan requests,possibly because they have not done certain songs for years,this means-POSSIBLY-that nothing from "Brave New World" onwards will be played.....We shall see.

It's very likely they will do 2-3 songs from each album
I hope they finally go for some deep tracks such as "Prowler", "Remember Tomorrow", "Innocent Exile", "Drifter", "To Tame a Land", "The Duellists", "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner", "No Prayer for the Dying", "Be Quick or be Dead", or "From Here to Eternity" as mentioned.
I mean, we all love "The Trooper" or "Fear of the Dark"... but having them performed in every single tour takes space away from other songs that could be played instead. 🤷♂
And "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" would be an awesome return to the setlist indeed! 🤘
As the lyrics from Only the Good Die Young state, “Time it waits for no man”, and Maiden’s time with us will soon come to an end. But as long as they can still perform, they should never stop! 🤘

I'll be going to se them here in Sweden. My 5th Maiden show in total, and the first one since 2013.
If I get to hear either Prowler, Killers, 22 Acacia Avenue, Still Life or Caught Somewhere In Time, then I'll be a happy camper.

Definitely sad that we won't get a chance to hear things like Ghost of the Navigator, Dream of Mirrors, Paschendale, Dance of Death, No More Lies, Brighter Than A Thousand Suns, etc from post-reunion Maiden that deserve to be brought out again. I hope we get some gems that haven't been played and are really worth the wait like 22 Acacia Avenue, Killers, Remember Tomorrow, Die With Your Boots On, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Deja Vu (would love a live debut), Infinite Dreams, Holy Smoke, Afraid to Shoot Strangers. A few of those have come up, but it hasn't been since the Early Years tour for many of the older songs.

Hate to feel negative but i think fan favorites will mean playing the most obvious songs only and that would be a bummer.
Your channel was one of the first things I thought about after seeing the tour news on Blabbermouth , curious about your thoughts on the tour / setlist . Maybe Maiden will do the RUSH thing and go from Fear ( Dickinson's last before leaving ) to ending with the first Iron Maiden in a pub staging ( maybe guest appearance by Dianno at U.K. shows ) ? Hard to imagine a more fantastic show than the Legacy production though .
Literally seen them last week in Adelaide som stoked about this tour. I love their bangers but I hope they won’t play minutes to midnight and etc. I really want deep cuts! Sanctuary, afraid to shoot strangers, stuff like that.

Damn only saw them on monday and already talking about next tour. I'd rather focus on whole career setlist than just first 9 albums I missed legacy of the beast thanks to covid and we weren't reschedule. And the post 2000 lineup is really the classic lineup imo. Been together 24 years

I know we will get run, trooper, hallowed, phantom etc but they've got to do something different like digging out to tame a land, or giving strange world a go or something. Just all the predictable songs would be a let down. Aces high is played out, obviously they've rinsed somewhere in time on this tour so hard to use songs off that album. Going to be an interesting setlist

This is the tour I’ve been waiting for a long time. First two albums in my opinion are their best, this is what I grew up on. First introduction to Maiden was in 8th grade in 1981 and it was Killers, so this is why I’m will go on this tour, hopefully there will be US dates, and happy they won’t be doing nothing beyond Fear of The Dark. Bout time they did most of their great songs from the early years.
First nine albums is an interesting number. Maybe they plan on doing the other nine after. But that would mean...

The are playing my home town Stavanger in Norway! First time ever I nearly crashed the car when they announced on rock radio on way to work. And stadium is 1 mile from my house....🎉🤟🤟🤟🎉

For me - this will be absolutely the perfect tour... pure gold ... a must ! Big fan since 1992 and I honestly don't need to hear nothing after that an that tour so... as I said - fits perfectly for me. Up the Irons !
Kind of "Sweet and sour" news for me... On one hand there will be a new tour, and Portugal is part of it, but I'm sad because the "future past tour" did not come here, and I wasn't able to catch it on any other European country... There goes my chance to witness and experience in person the new Senjutsu songs and especially those SWIT gems that were not played live since 86... 😢
Enough crying about what you can't change, so let's focus on the Future, which is pretty exciting and it's always fun to speculate.
I can assume that the following songs will definitely be part of the set:
- Iron Maiden
- Fear Of the Dark
- Number of the beast
- Hallowed be thy Name
- Running Free (i wouldn't choose it, but it was the first single released).
Judging by the teaser video, 8 guess it's pretty obvious "Phantom Of the Opera" will make it's way into that selection, and I bet "Rime" will occupy the "Long Epic Slot".
It's a 50 year celebration, so it's pretty hard to drop those old time classics that most of us (old timers) are a bit tired of seeing and hearing live... They are staples on the band's career, and it's justifiable.
I'll have to dive deeper and try to guess what other songs could make their way.
I reckon it will be a street view stage like the covers of Iron Maiden or Killers OR a reproduction of the inside of the Ruskin Arms where they started out 😎
I'll be going back to Birmingham, my favourite UK arena. Maybe I'll see you there again.

Im w you. In fact Id like to hear the entire senjitsu album live but Id prefer parchment to death of the celts on this tour tbh. But i really think they hit the nail on the head playing hell on earth as the opener to the encore and closing with 2 bangers after that. Im THRILLED they droped notb and hallowed from the setlist this tour since ive heard those live so much. But I would have been totally game for dropping trooper too which honestly I am tired of but I know its a fan fave. Havent heard prowler in a while which hopefully makes it onto next years set w infinite dreams.

At this point, Maiden could announce they're doing a tour where they only play B sides, and we'd probably still be excited for it.
Not at the fever pitch I was for Future Past, but the thought of hearing songs like Prowler, Sanctuary or stuff from Fear and No prayer that aren't Fear of the Dark are exciting.
The biggest shocker would be them NOT playing Fear of the Dark and making way for Eternity, Afraid to Shoot Strangers, Be Quick or Be Dead, etc.
I know this thought goes into 2027 and beyond, but what if after this tour, since it spans the first 9 albums, we get a New Studio album, and that tour is a Hybrid that includes from X Factor to whatever the new album is. The back 9 albums?
I'm just glad I'm seeing them in Novemeber in North Carolina in the USA. I think it will be hilarious if they end up playing songs I like more on the new tour though but just seeing them is good enough for me. Lmao I do agree though I'd really like to hear more Brave New World, Dance of Death and Matter of life and Death songs. Especially Mercenary, Paschendale and Longest Day for me lol I'd love to hear those live.
I'm just over here ready to see them in Phoenix in a few weeks and they just say screw Future Past, check out this new tasty tour! If there's any way I can see them on the Run For Your Lives tour I'll be grateful but I just have to wait patiently for now.

So they won't be playing in Greece again? We didn't get the chance to hear Alexander the great on the last tour and now they seems to be avoiding us yet again unless they come to more places in Europe into 2026 but I doubt that if it's a world tour. Last time Maiden played in Greece was 2022 on the Legacy tour.

I think the Real Live and Dead albums could be a good indicator of songs they’ll play. Donington 92 set? Going to try and get tickets for the London show. I’m hoping for From Here to Eternity to be on the set list.
If I were to bet on them playing any song from No Prayer For the Dying, my money would 100% be on “Tailgunner”. The opening line of the song is literally “Trace your way back 50 years”
