I think this will be a wonderful series. I started on Court Farms and played a while. I then took a drive around the map, back roads and all and thought “just playing on a single farm” is doing the map a massive disservice. Looking forward to this……

New series? I'm in! I have to say a big THANK YOU for your effort and try to play something different in Court Farms... Everybody is just playing in the starting farm with the starting equipment and fields... so until they start making decisions, all series are the same. But yours is completely different. And I usually play contractor as well, so maybe I'm a little biased here, but I'm loving it so far. Great video sir, take care, and we'll have a pint in the pub soon (whenever that dealer clerk is not there 😅)

Court Farms is a stunningly beautiful map with so much attention to detail. I am yet to play it, as enjoying FarmSimBrisco’s lovely Saxthorpe map too much at the moment (I chose it to play first as I used to live close to there and love the Norfolk scenery).
I am hoping your contract business does not have too much large equipment (commenting early in the video before you saw what you had bought)!
Thoroughly enjoyed your farm con log just started watching this I must say I've only watched one episode and I'm absolutely loving it keep up the great work I'm so looking forward to what's install for the future of this series you and Mr sealy p are two of my favourite creators creative and watching you guys I get ideas when I start on a new map love your content and the way you do it it's so realistic keep it up my friend

I know you've probably got the storyline set for the first few episodes but, if it doesn't hurt it too much, try not to mention that you've taken over a failing business (or who the business belonged was owned by) and just tell them you're a new contractor in the area. I think the less you mention the other fella the better it will be for business but, that would probably kill your storyline for the series. 🤔😃

Boring question: What was your initial setup for this 'challenge' series? Did you start with a certain budget? Which field did you place your contractor shed in and why? I happen to be doing a similar playthrough and wondered what a good way to set it up would be.
Not boring at all mate, No budget, but bought a load of older” equipment so I knew I’d want to upgrade as I expanded. No rationale for buying the field I did either, just liked where it was located 👍

Yeah I'm loving discovering the whole map, that's the probelm with owning the farma nd a few fields you tend to get stuck in one corner and not explore the whole map

a tractor i think you should really invest in or get us the mccormick mtx series we’ve one ourself done of the best tractors i’ve ever had looks and power wise would love to see it in your series
Just a suggestion, consider doing and finishing one contract per episode...could be fun...like this baling contract seems long enough with some varied tasks to do...
That would be the plan usually, I think I’ll aim for that each episode. The intro to the machinery etc just stretched the time a bit this first episode 👍

Too many contracts, not enough time to repair the equiptment
so it gets broken and you can't fulfil your contracts anymore and
the costumers stay away...
So you better watch out that you're not making the same mistake (You will, I guess... 😉).

Enabling the HUD would have made this a better video IMO.
I'm interested as to why? I bring it up if there's relevant info to the story but when mowing a field for e.g. I prefer the cleanliness of a full screen with no clutter.
@@TheFarmSimGuy I think mainly for the display of the Mod name when you approach, enter, connect to... equipment. And I guess I'm just used to the other standard HUD items being present. It certainly is cleaner/less cluttered.

Everything except the TW15 and Renault are from the ModHub, the TW15 is private and the Renault is from kingmods

It’s not on the map, I added the sheds myself
Most stupid question but what "Court farms" is this? O.O, I downloaded one mod that has that name and no matter what I do, I can't "replicate" this start?. @.@
It’s just the standard map from the ModHub, I created the contractors yard using the build menu and added in the sheds
