I 1000% agree with you bro. I really do feel like Gege has wrote himself into a corner. I don’t even know what’s happening anymore rn or what will happen.
Imo, the only way to save this in some believable way is to have Gojo return from the dead and defeat Sukuna. There is no possibility for anyone to believe, that Yuji defeats Sukuna, even if he get's some random-*ss power-up. I know, this will sound weird to people who thought that killing off Gojo was some brilliant writing strategy, but it really wasn't. Killing off your de facto MC (=Gojo) is not good writing, especially if it doesn't even make sense and most of the audience is just baffled and confused by what has happened. There is being subversive and there is being a complete baffoon, who doesn't understand the basics of story telling! Gege is the latter, since he constantly creates plot contrivances, of which Gojo losing to Sukuna has to be the most infamous one.
i have the feeling gege doesnt really care about jjk ot its characters, jjk feels like a manga gege continues to work on for reasons other than jjk is his passion project, maybe the editors interfere too much? i dont know, or maybe he wants to earn a living and jjk sells, i think i can accept that, but i have very mixed feelings.
Resume: if it follows shonen trope its bad. If it does not follow its also bad. Really a nickpick. Sukuna fight is a strategy, showed to us in between the fight itself, one that everyone is participating and have specific functions, some parts worked others dont (Yuta and Yuji strategy worked, Megumi's denial was a surprised to them - one sucess one failure, Maki weapons inside the domain for a surprise attack if the Yuta/Yuji plan didnt work - one success, Sukuna being able to survive with his heart damaged - one failure and so on...) There is no problem in a history to show failure. In this battle, Yuji objective is first and foremost is saving Megumi, which also should weaken Sukuna since he is in Megumi's body. As you said, we dont know if this is the last battle, we dont know how its gonna to end. We should wait and see, this mania for judging before the end is a pain in the ass. If Yuji manage to make Megumi fight back Sukuna will be in a terrible situation, since he has no body of his own. Also why its is a problem to weaken the final villian for him to be defeated? Especially when since the beginning of the battle that was the objective? That's being cohesive.
I like your take in it being more of a rescue mission than a final battle, I hadn’t really seen it that way. I was going based on the assumption that GeGe mentioned last jump fest will be the last for JJK so I assumed this year. This video serves as a thought experiment regardless. As for your first point, I don’t think it’s necessarily bad if yuji wins or loses, it’s just something I have personally noticed lately in the series. I still have a lot of love for it and will continue to read/make content for it. Thanks for watching!
Bro sorry to say but you didnt understood the whole plot . hear me out , yujis existence and his goal from the start was to kill sukuna with him by consuming all the fingers but guess what this is not your usual shonen were u get butterflies in the end , everyone thought sukuna will become kurama at the end but we got a reality check in ep 12 itself , and the pact that sukuna made to yuji in ep 5 actually comes handy to sukuna in chp 213 . Yujis whole mentallity is perfect , i agree he thinks he is a cog but what he means vy that , he will kill curses no matter what shape , name they get again and again . And bro i appreciate your respect towards yuuji for choso vs yuji fight as i too like 1v1 but as usual its a different shonen because if yuji is not powerful enough how was he supposed to win , if he looses he is ass but if he wins it will literally make no sense . Secondly, yeah sukuna is op but yuji is the perfect counter if you really read the same manga as me . His punches literally deals damage to the soul and simultaneously it decreases cursed energy too . Without ample amount of cursed energy he will be unable to unleash the full potential of cleaves and dismantle .yuji got blood manipulation Thirdly , i dont think jjk will end this year bcoz i know gege and his patterns a bit , he is the same guy who explained hakaris domain. He loves to explain so we are getting a flashback every alternate chp of his timeskip training and we still dont know anything about yuji and sukunas past . So we are definitely going to enjoy the storu gege dont know asspul , straight facts into fights Yuji has taken L's in the start but i dont think its same after shibuya He defeated mahito but was unable to kill him He could have definately killed choso but hey that turns out to be best part for him as he now have bm and his brother aside him He defeated 2 curse user after entering the culling game Punched a 15f sukuna (the rawest yuji chp) Currently learned rct , enhanced soul punches, bm in just one month just because he wants to kill sukuna even if it means dying . Yujis character have depths that even satoru gojo don't have
This is a great comment! I actually agree with everything you’re saying. I based my claim that this is the last year of jjk based on Geges words during last years jump festa. In no way was my video trying to call yuji bad or his writing, it was just my unfortunate conclusion based on the latest chapters of the manga. I will continue to read it! Thanks for watching
@@SpunkReviews I understand what you are saying bro , but believe in gege he will not at all waste his mc , and I got your point of Yuji not being a mc , and that's bcoz of the culling game arc but take that arc as a world building concept because we got introduced to a dozen of new characters and their techniques and then it ended with Yuji vs sukuna . Great video though really liked how you put your thoughts 🫶🏼
The best thing to solve this issue then is to literally just make Yuji the NOT the main character cuz people will take issues on the fact that its going to be absolute asspull if he suddenly gotten so strong that he can 1v1 Sukuna out of the blue like magic even So in order to deal with it everyone should just view Yuji as a well developed Side Character like the rest of the sorcerers that whether they win or lose it will be less issue during the final chapters
there is a therory that they used the time thingy domain to train for like centuries ( he fought maki about a 1000 in 1 sec cannon) so it is safe to assume there is a real way to gain power to match sukuna. the place where kusukabe and yuji trained looked familiar
@@manstarcrest725 I don't think Sukuna would give them time or They would want to give Sukuna time to heal Cuz they are trying to prevent Sukuna from using Malevolent Shine and literally cook their asses
That is a pretty interesting mindset to have going into this but sadly I really don’t think that’s what the story is trying to do. Even so many many people will still consider him a protagonist
I think as Gege was writing he realized along with Kusakabe, wow Kusakabe is the last one left. Either Kusakabe is actually cracked or Yuji needs a power up. There’s no way Kusakabe is stronger than 15 finger Sukuna though.
I think everyone will die and Yuji will get a power up, but this isn't all that unforeseeable because of the constant trope that someone must be willing to cast it all aside in order to master/understand Jujutsu. The final fight will probably be awakened Yuji versus whatever the merger is.
Like, just enjoy the manga until it ends and leave the ending of sukuna's character and jjk to gege. It's not like we can do anything about it nor is there a better way to execute the final fight than what gege is doing (*it's literally a step by step plan to take sukuna out while saving Megumi which they were following)
Of course, at the end of the day I will continue to read the manga and enjoy it. This video was just to open up a discussion when I “critically” think of what’s going on in the story
Yuji Itadori is gonna have to pull a Luffy to beat Sukuna. Yuji's role in the story is being a cog in the machine and going against society's role about having to go the wrong way to defeat cursed spirits; even if he has to, he doesn't feel good about it; he has to prove himself through everything to himself.
Seeing what they can do against the guy that just mid diffed their sensei who was 3x stronger than each of them and they are now being sent 1 2 or 3 at a time at him.
I 1000% agree with you bro. I really do feel like Gege has wrote himself into a corner. I don’t even know what’s happening anymore rn or what will happen.

Seeing what they can do against the guy that just mid diffed their sensei who was 3x stronger than each of them and they are now being sent 1 2 or 3 at a time at him.
That is why Sukuna must win. Break the stereotype!
Stopped watching once you said Ge Ge
HAHA SORRY ILL GET IT RIGHT NEXT TIME!!

Demon slayer sucks.
Died after season 3 aired.
