Please, reply to my question: what would you prefer/recommend (I'm really hesitate) : Leatherman Surge + 2 bit sets + bit's extender (with old good nylon sheath capable to hold all the stuff) or Victorinox SwissTool CS Plus (MFR # 53946, includes some bits and wrench, leather pouch). Once more, I'm hesitate, but tend to Surge direction.

The Surge, compared to the Swisstool CS (X PLUS according to the Victorinox name) has a blade exchanger, a removable cable cutter, a more powerful pliers, the opening of two blades with one hand, a crimper, etc. Equipped with two bit kits, or even only one, and a small ratchet as I show it on my videos, the Surge will be better equipped, will better respond to various jobs. But this set will be heavier. I recommend the Surge... then, with the agreement of your wife and your banker, the Swisstool! :)

My problem is I understand and see all you arguments as correct, I think in the same way, my brain tells me the same - but my heart whispers: V-i-c-t-o-r-i-n-o-x...!:) Anyway, upon returning home I'll order Leatherman Surge, bit extender and bit sets at the Laminia - Finland site (Amazon doesn't wan't to ship bit extender and bit sets to my country)... I just ordered roxon knife scissors today because this is what I use the most at work and from what I see am sure this tool is great! for the price! I hope to see this brand making more tools in the future for an affordable price!

For the MBT3 S601, it is necessary to be careful, i.e. clean the multi-tool quickly after the meal.
