Hi Jonathan, Thanks for your informative video about Portuguese Golden Visa program. I'm a Bangladeshi citizen and working in a private university in Kuwait as IT Helpdesk Technician. I'm planning to move to any English speaking western countries like UK or any EU area. Can you please let me know any easy and cheapest program and service fees for your assistance? Thank You.
Hello Jonathan I am just checking regarding Property option for GV.. Is it still open or it has been abolished altogether. I am based in India & already have my Bank Account with Millennium BCP Lisbon & NIF for both myself & my wife. If the option is still available then please let me know how much would be the reservation amount. I can send money to my own account, please clarify if it’s okay by you. Looking forward to your response at the earliest possible. Regards TP
Hi - we’re currently waiving reservation deposits to expedite the process. I suggest booking in a Zoom call and we’ll look at the viability together: calendly.com/jonathanralph/golden-visa
Thank you for your helpful content. Regarding the guaranteed buyback, does that mean that the developer has guaranteed that they will buy the property back at the investment price you paid after the buyback period (e.g. 6 years), but you are not required to sell? What if real estate prices crash?
I am so sorry for such a delayed response. Email is a more effective way to reach me. Whilst real estate is now no longer a viable option for the Golden Visa, such buyback arrangements do still exist on current investment options. The mechanism varies according to each deal, but is broadly as you outline it. In the event of a real estate crash, it would pay to have alternative exit strategies (e.g. fixed cash payout) available within the structure of the deal.
For the real estate route, we are approaching that time, yes. Remains to be seen when the President will now promulgate. Fund route at €500k will still remain open

@@jonathanralphcitizenship Once I hear from you all the details, then I’ll book a Zoom call, maybe as soon as possible, when you are available.
