I purchased my recent property for just over 350k Euro's had it for 2yrs, and I understand I couldn't apply for the 500k Euro's, however I believe from this posting/video that perhaps I can or should apply if valued at over 350k Euro's ?.
The government has announced a loose plan, but nothing formal. There is still some road to run, and we don't know what any potential new law will look like yet (or the timeline for implementation). For now, the program remains open as normal.

The return is indeed taxable (there is a withholding tax in Spain and you will likely also be taxed in your country of residence - check that a double taxation treaty exists between Spain and your country of residence before making an investment such as this - a good advisor will help you understand the liability before proceeding). No, you are not tax resident if making this investment - legal residency and tax residency are two very different concepts. Hope that helps
Yes, the closure has been proposed. It is not yet law. We anticipate being able to process applications for a little longer, as Spain does not have a history of moving quickly with such legislation, but it might be wise to advance any plans now to avoid disappointment.
