"What about Bucky?"
I'm kinda nervous of sharing this, I worked on this project for like, two weeks, mostly because I wanted to put as many parallels as possible with the ships, and I like how it turned out, but I'm still a little bit insecure.
So, firstly I want to say that this isn't a "ships war" video, I actually like all of these ships, even if stucky is my fave (well, stony too, because I love to suffer), and I firm believer in people shipping whatever they want ✨
Secondly, what I wanted to do by making this video was to show the relationships between these characters as "canonically" as possible.
I tried to make two points of view that kinda overlap each other and merge together:
we got steve's, who is in the modern world and thinks about the past and bucky, but tries to move on (that is the "stony" part), steve meeting bucky again and fighting for him because he still loves him, and then steve realizing that he's not made for the present world, that he misses peggy too much (the "steggy" part), chosing her over bucky.
Me? Being still mad about endgame? noooooo.
On the other side we got bucky, left alone in the present (😭), who is growing closer to sam, but still thinks about steve and the past (when they met again in ca:tws), who can't move on and secretley hopes steve is going to come back to him.
In the end, since I think bucky suffered enough, thank you, I wanted to show how he slowly decided to let steve go, realizing that he's not coming back but also that he's not alone anymore, that now he has sam by his side.

So basically what I got from this video and Marvel told through the "non-canon" ships is that it was first Stucky in/before the war, then Steve fell for Peggy and Bucky "died", then in the 21st century it was Stony, then Bucky came back and it was Stucky again after Steve and Tony fought in CW, then in IW it was IronStrange, but Tony died. And in Engdame Steve left Bucky for Peggy, and Bucky moved on with Sam. Wow 🤣💀
