He is truly the heart and bannerholder of the Avengers. The inoffical and humble leader that motivates them in times of need and confusion. An ideal that is surely worth attempting to reach
“I’m just a kid from Brooklyn.” This quote 100% defines all of Steve, and soldiers in general. They’re just people doing what is right. Not what is best. They don’t view themselves as heroes. They view themselves as equals to the people they protect. Steve Rodgers embodied this the most out of any candidate. That is why he was chosen for the test.
No, Captain America is literally Marvel's counterpart to Superman. He's the American icon and boy scout that fights for truth, justice and freedom, also he is the leader of the team. Honestly I'm in iron man team, but I pesonally can't hold myself to not blame him for what happened in Titan. He was the one who wanted to "win a war before it starts". I never thought of that being used to reference what happened on Titan but that's a really good point. It's strange to me that Tony doesn't get more slack for that decision since people love to blame Thor for not aiming for the head, Gamora for giving it up to save Nebula, and Steve for not killing Vision, but I never really see anyone say hey, why'd he go to face the dude who just whooped Thor and Hulk's asses with a teen and Strange. They didn't know the Guardians would be there so can you imagine just those three going against Thanos like in his original plan? He would've wiped them off the face of the universe without breaking a sweat.

Furuya Rei I can't say I have an issue with the writing because characters are flawed just like people are and we all do dumb things that we realise we shouldn't have done in hindsight. If characters were perfect we wouldn't have a story, so I don't have a problem with them making mistakes as long as they're in character, and it's in character for Tony to want to try to take something on bigger than he should. Plus it's clear he was wanting to avoid Steve after what happened between them so I can see that being even a small part of his reasoning to carry on the course they were on. It wasn't the correct choice but it was believable.
This edit makes me so emotional over Steve. I tear up every time I watch Steve look after the Winter Soldier during that last "waiting for that morning sun." And when Steve crashes the plane for "a drink of that promised land."
You're literally my new favorite person on Earth for this! ❤️ this really dwells deep into Steve's core - into every inch of his personality, his psyche, his mind. Simply love it. Also, the filter + song are wonderful! 👏❤️
Watching this video again (and again) I love how Buckey and Cap's storyline comes full circle: they start out rushing into battle together in First Avenger and they end that way, in Infinity War.
Captain America is one of my favorite comic books I was so happy to see a movie adaptation of it and after watching this it made me remember why Steve Rogers is my favorite Captain America
Captain America has always been my favorite marvel character and Chris Evens did a fantastic job. He read some comics and read a lot of comments when he was casted so he wouldn't piss off the fans. He nailed it.
This truly captures the evolution of the MCU Steve Rogers. It adds humanity to the fiction of the character and looking back on the past 9 years of growing up with him, watching this, it shows how now he truly has nothing to lose and will always fight for what he sees fit to fight for. Looking forward to more from you. Thank you.
this video shows how confused Steve was along the MCU timeline, as the time goes he only knew one thing, to do what a good man would do. The way he thinks, care about people around him, all of it he has done for the good of them. And the strength to do all of that despite the despair along the way, shows that character will always be a good man
This is the best captain America tribute I have ever seen it shows all the pain and good Steve has gone through and shows who he is a person who sticks up for his friends great job 10/10 👍
I love Cap from first second I started watching CA: First Avenger. Everyone love Iron Man, but he is just face of The Avengers. Captain is heart ❤️ I just don't understand people who hate him. He is so perfect. Not just Steve, but Chris too.
When it goes from Peggy saying the war is over to her laying in bed, grey haired and with Steve at her bedside while she says, “The world has changed.” It hits me so hard. Especially the look that Steve gives her, it just can’t be put into words. Amazing video, I’ll definitely look out for more! 👍🏼
Believe me, with this level of talent, this is going to reach 100k views in no time. Well deserved for appreciating a character who is loved yet heavily underappreciated and misunderstood. Thank you for this.
“I’m not looking for forgiveness and I’m way past asking for permission. "I am Steve Rogers" Our man Steve was awesome as ever. Thought of this video the whole time during Infinity War. Thank you. You Changed my movie experience, something not so easy to do.
I really like how he may be considered propaganda, and he’s ridiculously patriotic, but this song perfectly contradicts that and helps to really show that he is just so so much more. I love the timing, I love the scenes, I love how it really captures him. It’s absolutely amazing!!
OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO AMAZING!!!! It really highlights Steve's PTSD and trama! Its gonna make me cry. I loved it when you added Bucky and Steve scenes, it really makes me want to smash my face in a wall
You can just see the characterisation of Steve in this entire video. Another amazing video and I can't wait for more!! Thank you for making another video for me to repeatedly watch.
This is something special, they’re are some moments here when the music, shot and feeling just come together and it’s magic. Incredible work, some of the best I’ve seen.
This is so incredible, and you should be proud of your work. Continue below if you want read me fangirl over the strange, little things I noticed (particularly a lot about accents/cadence), love, and appreciate about Chris's acting as Cap, and at the end, a bit about RDJ. This also really highlights just how great an actor Chris Evans is. Even from the very beginning, to me, Chris as Cap was able to just ooze pure goodness and the hope and light of the spirit of the "American Way": Truth & Justice. And as his character evolved, he continued to emulate that. Cap is good and stubborn and refuses to budge to anything but what he believes in with his whole heart and love his precious people deeply and painfully, no matter what the cost is to himself. And it's made especially clear when you remember what sort of guy Chris is naturally. He's fun and excitable and reminds one of a pre-teen constantly hyped up on sugar. I mean, sure, that's what actors DO, but the way some people are able to just OOZE qualities of their characters the way Chris does as Cap isn't something you see all the time, and is mindblowing to me. And something that I think is really notable but isn't really thought about is that even the way Chris talks as Cap continues to emulate his character. Cap is old and a New Yorker. He still retains the accent from his home (not everyone has super thick or Italianesque accents in New York, his is a faint one), and the cadence you'd really only find in old movies. Just from the top of my head, Chris Evans is the only American I can think of that can pull this old-school cadence of speech off. Sure, it breaks sometimes, and he sounds more like a modern 30-something in the 20-teens, but for the most part, he still speaks with a slight old-school accent. If you want a better example of what I mean by "old-school cadence," listen to Henry Cavill as Napoleon from "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." Before that movie, I had yet to see a convincing old-school generic American accent in anywhere but videos and audio from the time period(s) itself. To a lesser degree, Henry Cavill employs a similar accent (more along the vein of Cap's fainter, gentler one) while playing Superman. From the way he talks, you just know he is the type of man to uphold honorable morals, like justice and compassion and responsibility. It's crazy. Since Cavill is British, (blew my mind when I saw the UNCLE interviews) the accents he's played in U.N.C.L.E. and as Supes are a far cry from his natural one, and I think that may give him an advantage over Chris, who is American. How do you change the way you speak just SLIGHTLY enough so you sound like a guy from the earlier half of the 1900s? It's just a slight variation from his own accent, what I consider to be the generic American accent, almost a baseline if you will. It's not a New York one, or Alabama-southern, or Texas-southern, or Minnesotan, nor does it have a particular drawl like a Californian surfer dude, it's just a basic American accent. Consider the accents as a spectrum with the generic American one in the middle and the accents like the type I've mentioned on either side of the spectrum (with maybe more lines coming from the center to signify the different types). The stronger and heavier the accent sounds, the further away you are from the center. But the kind of old-school accent Chris displays is just a step away from the center, not far enough to remind you of old sports announcers or anything. Hardly different from his natural one, but it's just a small STEP away, and that step is enough for it to be heard and noted. I don't really know how to explain it. I pay a lot of attention to stuff like that sometimes and I know it's weird, but it blows my mind when done well. Combining that with the rest of the elements of his acting, and it's just... incredible. He masters such subtleties so effortlessly that's it's a shame he will probably never be rewarded in higher acting societies for it. Action movies, much less superhero movies, aren't typically thought to be full of such complexities in their execution, even if they do. If he hasn't gotten one yet, RDJ better get an Oscar or something for Tony Stark. While Chris Evans oozes Captain America on screen and IS him when the cameras are rolling (I doubt we'll get someone as perfect for the character in any other rendition anytime soon), RDJ takes it to another level. He is almost LITERALLY Tony, on and off the screen (btw, I love RDJ's strangely quick cadence, and it's just natural to him) and it's ingrained so deeply in everyone who sees him that people trip up all the time and call him Tony, and I myself accidentally refer to him as such constantly. At this point, in my head, RDJ IS Tony Stark. Period.
Wow, thank you so much for elaborating on Chris' Steve Rogers accent! I honestly didn't even recognize it, but the fact that he channels into that old school New York accent shows how much he loves this character and his attention to detail. I'm definitely going to keep an ear out for it when I rewatch the movies now. I love Steve and Chris so much more now! The little things really matter :)
@@heatherdee9667 You're welcome! I latch onto that kinda thing whenever I hear it, but the above comment is probably the best I've ever done in explaining what's different about accents like that and why I care. It's one of those little things that seriously is so amazing and blows my mind whenever I hear someone pull it off. I hope you enjoy looking out for it in the future, too! :)

I've been seeing this in my recommended for a week and finally clicked on it. It was freaking amazing. This is just a great representation of Steve and I should have clicked long before now.
When it comes down to it. Captain America is just a man who wants to do the right thing. Its not easy, its not quick and you might lose more than you thought possible, but its the right thing to do. And if he can do it all day So can you And so can I To the Captain!
Captain America is not just the First Avenger, he is THE Super Hero. I can’t imagine anyone playing that character better than Chris Evans. The production quality on this piece is amazing. Keep up the awesome work.
Captain America is what a hero/leader should be and one I respect - a perfect soldier, a good man and a superhero. He's humble, selfless and loyal. He hates bullies, and fights for the little guys. He's not flashy and cocky like Stark (no superpowers if not for his suit). To me, starlord is just cocky and annoying. Cap is not dull at all! Chris Evans has done such an amazing job playing Cap that no one can fill those shoes. The shield belongs to him.

Plus it's clear he was wanting to avoid Steve after what happened between them so I can see that being even a small part of his reasoning to carry on the course they were on. It wasn't the correct choice but it was believable.

- "I understood all those references!" by every Cap fan.
People always ask me: Which side are you on?
I DON'T FREAKING KNOW I LOVE BOTH OF THEM
Just came back frome endgame and he marched home guys! Best hero in the mcu, doesn't have any godly power yet he fights. True inspiration
Thank you.
My absolute favorite Steve Rogers tribute. The timing, the music, the synchronized sense of duty and awe and power, it's all so perfect. Well done.
Phenomenal! I loved the Infinity War shots in there
this video shows how confused Steve was along the MCU timeline, as the time goes he only knew one thing, to do what a good man would do. The way he thinks, care about people around him, all of it he has done for the good of them. And the strength to do all of that despite the despair along the way, shows that character will always be a good man
A better tribute than any movie could have made.
This is the best captain America tribute I have ever seen it shows all the pain and good Steve has gone through and shows who he is a person who sticks up for his friends great job 10/10 👍
HOLY SHIT. BABY BOY STEVE. This is such a perfect video. It really shows the depth of the character. I'm actually speechless. Wonderful work.

Buckaroo Banzai I understood that reference
I don’t know why but I love when he pushes his fist into the ground and picks him self up. It just seems so empowering.
Haven’t seen anything as dope as this!
This perfectly captured the beautiful evolution of Steve Rogers character
I knew Steve Rogers. A man with a warrior's spirit, but also the most genuine person I knew. This tribute does him justice.
Your talent knows no bounds!
Thank you!
Elora Maxwell she put clips together and added music.
@@connorandjelic6386 it's harder than it looks actually
@@shehabgamal8640 "The Wars Over, The world has changed ,and None can cope back", Pew is the New Ewe😂😂😂, Nothing Personal.😊.
I love Cap from first second I started watching CA: First Avenger. Everyone love Iron Man, but he is just face of The Avengers. Captain is heart ❤️ I just don't understand people who hate him. He is so perfect. Not just Steve, but Chris too.
No one hates Cap.
Why does some hate him. I dont understand. He is perfect
Awesome and awesome. I feel honored as a Captain America fan.
I kind of feel like this was one of the first, if not the first, of the MCU compilations. And as far as I'm concerned, this one's still the best.
When it goes from Peggy saying the war is over to her laying in bed, grey haired and with Steve at her bedside while she says, “The world has changed.” It hits me so hard. Especially the look that Steve gives her, it just can’t be put into words. Amazing video, I’ll definitely look out for more! 👍🏼
Every marvel fan loves captain....! ❤💯
Believe me, with this level of talent, this is going to reach 100k views in no time. Well deserved for appreciating a character who is loved yet heavily underappreciated and misunderstood. Thank you for this.
"The world has changed Steve. And none of us can go back."
What if he could?
“I’m not looking for forgiveness and I’m way past asking for permission.
"I am Steve Rogers"
Our man Steve was awesome as ever.
Emmarellda1 😂😂😂 thanks?
Anti-Federalist 1776 thanks for the essay yeah steve dont rlly got ptsd but hes definetly been thru alot
This is one of the few videos out there properly edited with a good choice of a soundtrack. Superb job.
3:18 The editing here is amazing. Wow
The timing... when the music climaxes, is perfect!
Tears again. This is just flawless.
This is the best edit I’ve seen of him and it was before Endgame. Why can’t all the other tributes capture his emotional strength as this one does?
I am not usually a fan of vids with a lot of canon voiceovers but this is why exceptions exist. Amazingly well edited and well done. Bravo!
Good Lord this was Well Done. APRIL 2020....THANK YOU.
Who's not ready to say goodbye to Cap? 🙋😣
this video... is crazy stupid fine! so much emotion behind it... breathtaking
a great video on Captain America
Wow, this was in my recommendations list and I’m so glad I watched this. It’s so emotional and you literally captured Steve’s core so well, that it reminded me why I love him so much. Thank you!
Steve is by far the character with the biggest personal development in the MCU. I am 42 years old and have always been a big Hulk fan, but MCU gave me a new hero.
Goosebumps all over the place
I watched over 150 times. For this "I'm just a kid from Brooklyn" love u Steve.
And if he can do it all day
So can you
And so can I
To the Captain!
To the captain !
To the captain.

Captain America is not just the First Avenger, he is THE Super Hero. I can’t imagine anyone playing that character better than Chris Evans. The production quality on this piece is amazing. Keep up the awesome work.
This masterpiece makes me cry a lot...
There was nothing for this man but the next mission. For 12 years he did nothing but fight. He deserved his dance. Glad he got it. Thanks, Cap.
The parallels are amazing! Beautiful! ❤
My favorite superhero, also can’t wait for Falcon & Winter Soldier
Beautiful! Steve's my favorite character, and this video was so amazingly edited it really did his character justice :)
Thanks! 😊☺️
Your video is simply amazing! I'm crying so much right now...
This is my absolute favorite Cap edit, I saw it before Endgame, and I keep coming back ❤
I love this so much! Your edits are amazing
Bro the timing of that chord and the spin to the empty dance hall. Chills. WELL DONE!
Other heroes are trying to win a war. Cap is trying to end it
He might be one of the best character castings ever. It's so crazy
100,000 views in less than a month! Crazy. Thanks for the support, let’s all come to terms with Chris Evans’ contract ending after infinity war part 2 (which isn’t the name but THEY STILL HAVENT NAMED IT 🙄).
Congrats. I watch this video daily. Cap is my inspiration.
HIS CONTRACT IS ENDING? THERE’S GONNA BE AN INFINITY WAR PART TWO? I NEED TO KEEP UP WITH THESE THINGS
M _erica a Avengers 4 was originally titled “infinity war part 2” it’ll come out in 2019 😊
piratesandsuperheros I'll never be able to accept it
I don’t wanna accept itt
Incredible is an understatement. You have perfectly encapsulated what the mcu Captain America stands for and why he is the numero uno avenger alongside tony. Fantastic job
This video is legit. I watch it almost every day
This thing is changing lives. Thank you for this gift
always watching this! kinda like a motivational video for me, it has all the best lines of Captain, hoping one would be made for Black Widow
