Kudos and mad respect for playing Blackened and not some R&B pop and slap thing. Cheers from Morocco
GK is so much underrated piece of equipment! I love how it sounds! Once I retire my MB this might be the wat to go!
Ive been gigging with a 700rbMKii for over a decade now and I am so excited over the prospect of upgrading.
You know you're doing something right when the NAMM fuzz pay you a visit.😆🔊🔊
sounds gorgeous!
Oh fuck. This looks sick. All the top dudes still tour with the 2001 RB. So good to see it’s alive and well.
Incredible sounds, but I’d love a mini version of this!
Take my money! I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these.
Can't wait to finally get good at bass so I could justify buying this amp.
Sounds and looks killer. Love the throwback aesthetics
Cannot wait. I’ve been thinking about retiring my 800rb to the studio so I don’t beat up such a legendary amp during my gigs. These look like the perfect “upgrade.”
Real amp !!! Wonderful
I play mostly in small rooms and use lighter heads, but my 700RB is killer for recording as a second channel in my studio. I'm sure these new legacies are fantastic. I've played many AMPS since the 70s Gallien Krueger is my desert island choice.
Sounds great!
Still use a 1001RB on many gigs….. bombproof, great sounding amps… still!!
No one sell GK anymore around me in Europe Belgium or Germany… time to have a contact with Thomann and Musicstore !
We have new Distribution, gear is arriving everywhere as we speak!
hope take this amp
3:04 Orion!!!!
I can't think of a Better Model name than "RB"........ I used 2 heads and 4 Cabs for Years. 🏆 Your Pal..... RB :)
huge toroidal transformers
You gotta get some of the gospel cats to demo this thing.
So awesome but I’d only consider one for permanent installation… I’m not lugging that thing around
if gk makes a 4x10 cab (neo cab). on wheels. that handles 2,000 watts rms. at 4ohms. one cab to rule them all.
That thing would wail!
My only Gk amps I need are my old 800RB and 400RB!
How many white dudes with dreadlocks did you spot in California?
Sounded awful .
Wow, that clean tone is amazing! 😲🖤🤍 Do the “normal” Legacy amps sound similar? Or is the new power amp section (partly) responsible for his?
My legacy sounds super clean
I owned the 2001RB. It sounded killer until the protect circuit kicked in and would halt all sound for 2-3 seconds during performances. It would happen even when the master volume was only at 3. Needless to say I sold it. Hopefully they have fixed this issue. Nothing like trying to play live with a amp that kicks on and off at random.
Would you like it more if amp just died instead?
Sounds like something was faulty with your 2001RB. Been using mine for a decade now, loud rock bands and it never shut down. My master volume (woofer knob) is usually at 2 o clock, sometimes more. Boost around 11 o clock. I keep the preamp volume (volume control) lower (9, 10 or 11 o clock at most) so I can crank that power section. I use the amp in bridged power mode, so that's 1080W at 4 ohms or 650W at 8 ohms. Glorious sound and power.
