when the truck is jacked up the motor mounts wont line up, the frame is twisted. found this out the hard way. lower it level and there they are lined up.

if you are like me and was afraid to jack up my engine - if you loosen the driver side radiator fan (don't have to remove) it gives you enough room to slide the passenger fan out. I just slide cardboard behind the fan to protect bumping the radiator.

This job is a mother. everything was hell to get out. there is a Moter mount in the front or the engine wont tilt back and away and even then the fan was a bitch. there is another method where they remove the AC compressor and take it out the bottom. don't even think about it, you cant get a wrench anywhere near anything, look for yourself. when this little truck works right we love it. when something breaks you're taking multitudes of other things apart just to get started on the problem.

@@AxtuoAx removed serpentine, pulley and motor mounts etc just to get to bolts and remove? I don’t have this much time. 3 months ago I did entire front end. Ik starting this it will be some surprises.

I did the whole front end on her suv but when I saw how tight alternator was I decided to let shop fix. I think it was $500 including parts.! If I had the time I would’ve tried it. Front end took a few hours in 2 days.

Could not watch your video, UA-cam played a commercial literally every minute! I am at 5:22 and have seen 5 commercials. Sorry, but enough is enough.

@@AxtuoAx I know that. The point of this is the short time between commercials. Even TV doesn't subject the viewer to an ad every minute. It used to be about 4 or 5 minutes between ads, now its reduced to a minute or two. YT keeps pushing some plan they have for "only" 13 bucks a month, this is their way of forcing people to buy it.

Video is too jumpy and can't tell when you are on top of engine, or under the car. There was a clip being removed, and not sure what it was for, or why it was being removed. Couldn't really see it. I get how hard it is to manage a phone camera and do the job, though. I take it you removed the engine mounts, so you could jack the engine up, but could've covered that a bit more.
