I have lived in Toronto for over 60 years and I think you captured Toronto 2023 well. The pros and the cons. 😊😢it’s going through rather a rough patch this winter but I have faith that this too shall change as most Torontonians are proactive in working for a fair and just city.
I used to live there. Traffic and cost of living made me move. I make 48$/HR but can't afford to live in Toronto. It can take between 2 to 4 hours to drive across the city during rush hour. Parking during events is higher (they raise the price) from 20$ to 50$/hr. The humidity during the summer is suffocating so the beaches are overcrowded. There are many ethnic neighborhoods while plenty are non existent... like French or Latino. There are 4 Chinatowns surrounding Toronto with the main one on Spadina. (the others are in Markham, Mississauga and Scarborough). Construction and detours are as in any large city however hinders an already very slow moving traffic. The monthly pass for public transportation was around 150$ last checked but everyone will have the same idea as you to save on parking so.... very crowded subway trains especially during rush hour or events. During cottage season (spring to fall) highways will be completely gridlocked north on Fridays and south on Sundays. Easily taking double the expected time to travel...if there no accidents, in which case count triple time. Not missing this at all.
Very informative. Incredibly refreshing to see realtors being honest with pros and cons. All you seem to see are videos with the Pros to push sales. Nice to see!

hi can you create a video for international students? average cost in toronto or best place for an internation student to live?
Well, I was planning to move to toronto, now I have to reconsider me decision
I live in Atlanta, GA, USA and the traffic is horrendous. I wonder how Toronto traffic is in comparison.
I’m in Atlanta as well and I’m thinking about relocating to Toronto!
Born and raised in TO. You know how NY traffic is world famous? Well, New Yorkers visiting Toronto have told me that our traffic is worse.
Nice video! Thanks for the tips. Am moving to Toronto this May, maybe i will see you there😅
Thank you Rochelle and Christina for this really rich content. This really helps for newcomers :-)

a fascinating city! well done.
This channel is all about Toronto but she pronounce Toronto in a wrong way every single time 🤔?
TorON-TO, Tr'ona...poTAYto, poTAto...if you want to communicate well in English, it's probably more important to get your verb tenses correct 😝
