I was going to leave this same comment, I believe it's very true. If girls are treated well by their fathers, then in the future they will usually choose a mate who will treat them well. Same goes for if a girl is treated poorly by her father she will often {unintentionally subconsciously} choose a mate who will treat her poorly.

I was thinking if I had my Aunt Doreen and Uncle Gary experience a typical Shabbat meal, the both of them would be quite blown away, if they heard me sing the prayer for the lighting of the Shabbat meal. One of my good friends is a Messianic Jewish lady, and I’d be asking her, if she’d be willing to have my Aunt and Uncle, experience a typical Shabbat meal.

I ❤❤❤ that you and your husband wear your baby! I did the same and, you are so right, you can get so much done while wearing them! They're comforted and your hands are free to do stuff. I couldn't have survived. So many people told me that I was "spoiling" the baby and they would be clingy. Never had that problem; as toddlers, they were very independent.

My daughter orders everything on line!! She returns a good bit of it, though! I only shop in thrift stores!! Your daughter has beautiful hair!! ❤️and I loved the sound of your little baby crying!! I live alone now and my place even gets to feel cluttery! ❤️
@@jaroffireflies yes, that is still very warm, especially for an infant. We are getting about 11C or about 52 F overnight sometimes a little higher but summer is definitely winding to a close here. We will have a few more hot days but the cooling trend has started.
Hi Chana! You're right - the small bouquet is such a special Daddy/Daughter moment. You know what else is special? How the kitchen is spotless after your Mother-in-law cooks. Wow! And everything looks so yummy. Nice to see Mr. F and MIL cooking together. And you got so much accomished one-handedly (is that even a real word)? It will be soooo quiet when everybody leaves, but you can slowly get back to "everyday" life. We've had five 100-degree days in a row at the Jersey shore and I can't remember the last time my AC was off. I don't know how you Texans do it. Chana! I love that your mother-in-law has been helping you for the last few weeks. Good support is the difference between swimming and drowning. As to adventures...Mr Tea and I camped with our eldest kids when one was just shy of three and the other four weeks old, and continued camping with Wee Babbies until our youngest was a baby no longer. It takes a little more effort on the back end, but it's totally doable and still a ton of fun!
I know when she leaves, your MIL will really miss you all!I know she's enjoying her family, mightily! You look great and it really shows that you feel great!
I just want to say Baby Firefly is so adorable. His little noises were so cute. It's really awesome that Grandma Firefly has been able to stay and help you with the postpartum things.
It is so awesome that you have so many family members to celebrate with! When I was younger we had huge family gatherings. But so many of that generation are gone, and those of us that are left are spread out so far. Here in Tampa I am lucky to still have my parents (74 and 79 and going strong!), my sister and her husband all in the same city. My niece used to be here but she graduated from college and moved permanently to Charleston, SC. My nephew leaves for college next week, and my sister will become an “empty nester.” My husband is an only child. I know my niece will be back for many visits and big holidays, but things are changing. Then there is my little family of me, my hubby, and our daughter who is 17 and a Junior in high school. I always wanted more children, but I wasn’t blessed to have biological children and it was a miracle we were able to adopt our daughter. I am rambling but I guess I envy what you have a bit. I wouldn’t change what I’ve been lucky enough to been given, but that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t want a seat at your Shabbat table just once! I’m sorry this comment is everywhere. Thank you once more for sharing your life. ❤️
when my husband would give me flowers he would always give our daughter flowers also. till she got old enough and went off to college in another state. Dad and there daughters 💜

I was never able to properly wear one (not sure why) but I see how amazing they are. Holding Baby and he feels your warmth, and you have your hands free for the other children. To touch on the camping with little ones… I took my two youngest camping when they were 3 months old and 9 months old. We got one of the large inflatable pools and set it up so they had somewhere other than the pack and play to hang out. It was great!! Happy adventuring!!

@@jaroffireflies yes, that is still very warm, especially for an infant. We are getting about 11C or about 52 F overnight sometimes a little higher but summer is definitely winding to a close here. We will have a few more hot days but the cooling trend has started.

Well, I think Mr. Firefly has won the 'Sweetest Dad' award! Bringing Sister home her own Shabbat flowers, and having his own dad-carrier for Baby! This video was perfect- All of Mom's cooking was just what I wanted to see! And Mr. FF looks so happy in the kitchen with his mom- so nice to have his family there to help celebrate Baby! As to adventures...Mr Tea and I camped with our eldest kids when one was just shy of three and the other four weeks old, and continued camping with Wee Babbies until our youngest was a baby no longer. It takes a little more effort on the back end, but it's totally doable and still a ton of fun!

It is so awesome that you have so many family members to celebrate with! When I was younger we had huge family gatherings. But so many of that generation are gone, and those of us that are left are spread out so far. Here in Tampa I am lucky to still have my parents (74 and 79 and going strong!), my sister and her husband all in the same city. My niece used to be here but she graduated from college and moved permanently to Charleston, SC. My nephew leaves for college next week, and my sister will become an “empty nester.” My husband is an only child. I know my niece will be back for many visits and big holidays, but things are changing. Then there is my little family of me, my hubby, and our daughter who is 17 and a Junior in high school. I always wanted more children, but I wasn’t blessed to have biological children and it was a miracle we were able to adopt our daughter. I am rambling but I guess I envy what you have a bit. I wouldn’t change what I’ve been lucky enough to been given, but that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t want a seat at your Shabbat table just once! I’m sorry this comment is everywhere. Thank you once more for sharing your life. ❤️

Hi Chana! As always, you look amazing and your smile lighting up your face. it seems that Baby Firefly found his special place all wrapped up on you. Those wraps are great. I was never able to properly wear one (not sure why) but I see how amazing they are. Holding Baby and he feels your warmth, and you have your hands free for the other children. The Shabbat food looked yummy and I am sure you had a lovely Shabbat with your family. Loved the flowers, and your husband buying flowers for your daughter is so sweet! also great as Daddy Firefly holding Baby in his holder . loved The Smiles! To touch on the camping with little ones… I took my two youngest camping when they were 3 months old and 9 months old. We got one of the large inflatable pools and set it up so they had somewhere other than the pack and play to hang out. It was great!! Happy adventuring!!
