How about an aerial shot of the track marked in red with some names of the corners and straights so we know where you are on the track? That would be most cool!!
@@TrulyUnfortunate 😆 From what I've seen yep, he's the crash star! This is number 2 at that curve I think. They need a dunce helmet or something similar lmao 😂 That little cart could cause a lot of pain though 🤕 Could almost feel it..
John, you bought the tractor now go get you a rototiller attachment for it, then till the entire track about 6" deep, and put the scraper blade on it and blade the track! you can fill the low spots and take out the high spots making it a way better track. or do I need to come up there and do it for you? lol
Cool cart for getting it free. Center your seat and steering for more stability when turning, especially on right turns. You won't tip over as easily and you will have equalized your weight on the live rear axle and may have better traction in the mud. Great video!
I miss stuff like this, the lowest budget shop parts builds. I love how far you guys have come from the what to look for in a go kart videos, but going back to the roots like this is awesome to see
I hope u guys enjoyed the go kart my dad dropped it off for me I save up and bought a new one that I built and figured u could do something better with it
you guys should just totally modify that thing move the engine back about 6 inches , center the steering wheel and seat and raise the front up and correct the clearance for the front wheels. and maybe port and polish the head on that honda
i cant tell but is the engine centered? if not then the driver actually needs to be slightly off center in the opposite direction for proper left right balance.
Watching all these videos of you two & sometimes three, one thing I do see that is so rare like winning the lotto with 1 in a billionth of a chance to win is the friendship you two share with each other. I have spent 42 years looking for something like this in over 25 different fields I dabble in not one bite. Cherish what you two have because you most likely will never find something so rare again.
Also I been watching you guys religiously since the rat rod project. I used to hate Mondays and Wednesdays, but yall make me actually enjoy them. Thanks for the content.
Great episode! That thousand yard stare from John.... If I could suggest anything, it'd be a standardized start/finish line. And maybe a bonfire dedicated to the cart killer tree.
I use to watch you guys all the time as a kid in foster care and it was always my dream to do what y'all do you guys always made me laugh throughout the years. Keep up the good work guys.
You all REALLY need to work on that road in the woods, put a crown on the road with some gutters along the edge to drain the water faster, you have the tractor use it!!
UA-cam recommends i rewatch the episode that ike flipped the mower! Episode one of the mower build was the episode that I hit the subscribe button for, still my favorite project, (sorry ike) and I would love to see it make a lap time! Thank you for making every Monday and Wednesday awesome!
One of the funnier vids for sure. John that look in your eyes and reply after coming back the second time...hahahaha like a man possessed. Gj and good vid. You guys are amusing in your madness. Respect
In 1979 I built a cart like this one. So much fun. I attached a set (like 8 springs) of car lifter springs between the seat and frame.....much smoother ride and MUST be tried!
Isaac, John I just opened my Christmas present and tried on my "It'll Be Fine" hat. It's the only the thing I ask for, for Christmas. Love the flex fit. Thanks so much guys. Keep up the great content.
I really love this video. It’s a simple, fun, non complicated, back to basics build. Absolutely digging the steering wheel! Can’t wait till you gear it down some more and reach that goal of 1:10’s
Best idea. A truck load of small rock could change up that watery muddy mess in the woods. Your 🚜 will be great for the job!!! Thanks for all the fun you Guys put out there for us fans. Marry christmas And Happy New Year!!!
What a fun episode the pictures of John with a face splashed with mud priceless. Thanks for the fun and Merry Christmas to you both Bill in Fort Wayne Indiana
2nd time you've hit that tree .. You need to make an episode cutting down tree and blowing up the stump .. Make a stump and drill a hole just to the base of it and blow it up .. . than try and build me a coustom gas powerd rascal with a jockey shift and hand control gas and brake. . i miss going fast . you guys do awesome build and modifications.. Looks fun make me miss building stuff with my buddies at his shop..
It’d probably be way more fun with smaller tires. I have a solid axle swapped yard kart with a 5.5hp and it can spin tires all the way up to it’s top speed at about 25 or 30 mph.
Other thing I think I stoped watching beacuase I got into this mini bike accident and almost took my life and hated it for 2 years but now I miss it and seeing this makes me happy
Look at that right side steering linkage bend,,, that was one of the first things that i had to beef up on my Manco RedFox, 1/4 galvanised pipe with the correct sized nuts welded on the ends and some Heim Joints, made a huge difference.
Holy crap, I've never seen a kart beat up John so much, when he came back cart barely running, glasses falling off, no brakes I couldn't help but crack up xD Also YOU need to get a dry lap in, heck even groom it with the tractor, I know you got this!
X Nice to see you guys going back to your roots on this one. The custom projects are great but my lil ones and I love the go kart videos. Keep up the good work
When are yall going to put nitrous a kart? I'm sure an older engine with lower compression would make great power and if it blows up oh well. Maybe gap the rings and get more fuel in there.
@@G56AG twin turbo would be cool but nitro would be more bang for the buck. Much less fab and would be less dangerous on an already low compression engine.
John, You knew better than to try to run with 6 inches of standing water in the back 40 but much respect for the honest effort...sendin ya'll a merry christmas from Bama
I think no matter what, you need to make one more gear change. If for no other reason just to see the difference. Plus, that will help a bunch when you come out of the woods where it seems to have the most problem regaining speed. Great job, cant wait to see more.
Cool yard cart guys John you crash everything haha and Isaac you just crush it out of the hole keep doing what you do love you videos stay safe be good
All the slip in the drive train before really helped that engine get into the power band. I think it would benefit from a higher stall clutch now as well as a little lower gearing. It needs more rpm.
John i definitely recommend trying some bigger wheels with a little bit bigger tire on them so ull get the traction u need to get thru the mud and try making a metal sleeve that goes over the intake filter and have significant room in the sleeve so the filter can still pull in lots of air
Throw a 13 tooth clutch at it. Probably be just that little bit you need to hit that sweet spot. Then it’d be a nice ripper. Have a yard cart with 12front/ 58 rear 5hp Briggs. It gets up good and does 40mph. Slicks on pavement though
How about an aerial shot of the track marked in red with some names of the corners and straights so we know where you are on the track?
