Ok I was living under a rock for a while so I had no idea Caroline had this series on here. I binged them all and I want more! The research, the history, the editing, the music, the script, the Caroline! Perfect in all angles!
I mixed things largely by hand/spoon or hand held machine for about a decade without much complaint before I inherited my grandmother's 1980s KitchenAid (white with a red metallic strip of the speeds). It does indeed make a huge difference and whenever I use it I get to think of her.
Only Caroline would find the cuuuutest earrings! 😍 And I totally agree about it being useful decor... my cherry red Kitchen Aid stand mixer is the star of my kitchen! ❤❤
As a millennial who got completely stuck on owning a kitchenaid, despite being a novice baker, I feel called out. Yes I bought one, yes I toiled over the color choice (lavender cream, although I really considered matcha), yes I have used it twice in 2 years. I still love seeing it in my kitchen though.
In my 40s I decided to buy items I've always wanted. The Kitchen aid mixer was one of them. In my 70s now and I still love it. You're amazing. Keep doing what you're doing!
Excellent! I appreciate learning about the origin of iconic items. And Wayfair, you sure chose the right person to tell us about them - none other than Caroline. You're a natural! 💝
Remodeling our kitchen. First time in my 60 some odd years of life!! The new kitchen will be the same colors as the old bc Tangerine (our Kitchen Aid mixer) is the star of the show, forever!!!
I'm from the town where the KitchenAid mixer was first made, so I was excited to see Troy, Ohio on the old newspaper clippings Caroline showed in her video! ❤❤
I also plan to put it in my will for my KA to go to my favourite grandchild. It doesn't really matter that my son is only 2yo now :-D I have very high hopes in my KA lasting that long ;-)
The KitchenAid standmixer has been my dream appliance for at least 10 years now! I love baking ~ it's a bit chaotic sitting on my kitchen floor with a whisk or putting on heels [aka "kitchen shoes"] to knead dough on my too-tall counters for half an hour! (Sometimes I opt for no-knead dough 😅) Someday, I hope to get one in the perfect colour and size ~ with all the accessories [glass bowl, pasta roller attachment, ♡ ]. Want to keep it for a lifetime! But until then, I'll continue strengthening my whisk arm! XD Coming from Caroline's main channel! ♡ Brilliant presentation! ^^
Caroline, I’d love to see you dive into classic vintage cookware including the cornflower blue Corning ware, the Vision amber glass cookware, and Pyrex etc. Love to hear the history of why the pattern was discontinued, the companies being bought out, how Vision went from being Vision France to produced in China, etc. and how the resale used market is still going so strong on these cookware pieces from decades ago.
Caroline I follow your personal channel and just now landed in your Wayfair one! You are awesome...your actor self coming through and making these videos soooo entertaining!!! Bravooo👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤
What a great invention. Thanks for teaching us, Caroline. I can't believe you found mixer earrings. I have a hand mixer which I like better than the standing one (I have the green Kitchen Aid one). Been using the same one for 19 years. woo hoo! My mom still uses the same Kitchen Aid hand mixer (yellowish color) for 50 years. One of the best held up inventions that lasts!!!!
First thing I made was a cake. I use it a lot-mostly for baking. My husband has started making pizza dough and we now have the best pizza ever!! I love all of the historical info and your presentation is so much fun!!😁
Woow, I didn't know it was such an iconic object! I ordered it because all by favourite youtube chefs had it even on ten years old videos. So it seemed very reliable! Its all mechanics unlike my friends Kenwood mixers stuffed with electronics. That cant possible last to work pass its warranty. Its so not common to have a KA in Czech Republic
Caroline, such a cute video! When I developed arthritis in my hands after a car accident, I bought a white one. It goes with my white cabinets although the colors were very tempting! 🌈
I bought a white one over thirty years ago. Renovated by kitchen around it, It is kitchen fixture.I use it mainly for holiday baking ie Easter, thanksgiving and Christmas time
*Never Owned One* . In my 56 years of Domestic Goddess life, I never did test drive one of these. I'm not a baker, so there's that. Cool earrings Caroline.
I’m mildly sad that my mother gave me a stand mixer but didn’t let me pick the color. Very grateful for the gift because I do use it often, but the chrome color is blah, so I keep it in a cabinet lol. Then again, I might have picked a color impulsively and in that case I would still dislike it anyway haha, but a blue one would have been nice
The Kitchen Aid wave finally hit my country a few years ago but I must say I am not a fan of that retro design and I have a feeling I am the only on the whole planet because nearly everybody has one. 🤔
First of all, you are hilarious and I really hope wayfair is paying you enough for this. But I just have to tell you that unfortunately "crème de la femme" does not rhyme🥲 "Femme" in french is pronounced like "fum", just like fun or sun😘 Other than that I really appreciate your commitment. For me personally, the earrings took the video to another level🤯
uninspired kitchens, hahhahahah, I'd love to hear what certain engineers think, lol, The kitchens from the turn of the century, the unfixed kitchens, were designed for function, almost purely function, to make it easier on the kitchen staff because they had to do everything by hand. But come on, there were some unfixed kitchens from that time that were absolutely beautiful!!!
the minute you said Kitchen Aid i felt deprived. expensive, and really not worth it if you don’t have room to keep it out on the counter, because hauling it out each time is just too much. i don’t have the room. i actually do have a chrome Sunbeam that belonged to my grandma. i never use it. when i saw it sitting next to you, it looked bigger than you! honestly, i think a cuisinart is a better investment.
What’s the first thing you ever made with your KitchenAid mixer?
Classic chocolate chip cookies! 🍪 But since then, it's been A THOUSAND different things!
Pizza dough.
Brioche, that's one that's just a little too difficult and messy when you do it by hand, lol
A vanilla cake. And chocolate buttercream icing, back in the early 70’s.
an unbelievably huge mess. things got better though.

This series is perfect! Caroline you are shining

I’m in the beginning of my 40s and I’m doing the same things! I’m buying things that I want! Yay!
As a mama whose son is currently obsessed with avatar that intro made me smile! You’re great Caroline!
Wow Caroline, i didn't expect to be THAT interested about a KitchenAid mixer 🤯👏 Bravo! You have a gift 🎉

The earrings though! Brilliant!!!
This was very interesting Caroline! You can get me to listen to just about anything I think.😂❤👍
genius delivery!
I'm from the town where the KitchenAid mixer was first made, so I was excited to see Troy, Ohio on the old newspaper clippings Caroline showed in her video! ❤❤
I inherited mine from my mom! Love the history behind this mixer, almost as much as I love your earrings!!
This is your best one yet. Loved it!
I also plan to put it in my will for my KA to go to my favourite grandchild. It doesn't really matter that my son is only 2yo now :-D I have very high hopes in my KA lasting that long ;-)

I've never wanted a KitchenAid because I don't bake but I would totally rock those "kitchy" earrings!
Love this series.......and Caroline!

Another very informative video. Keep 'em coming!😊❤😊

Great job CW! ❤ the earrings!!
i got a KitchenAid from a garage sale for $20! it didn't come with the attachments, but it was still SUCH a steal! and it works like dream
Caroline, such a cute video! When I developed arthritis in my hands after a car accident, I bought a white one. It goes with my white cabinets although the colors were very tempting! 🌈
Caroline, why don't you have your own tv comedy show!? You are so good !
Great video; I have a green model, but my favorite is my teal version, which is about the size of the earrings😄
I bought a white one over thirty years ago. Renovated by kitchen around it, It is kitchen fixture.I use it mainly for holiday baking ie Easter, thanksgiving and Christmas time
Caroline, you made me want one and I don't even cook.
This is info i didn't know i needed to know lol
*Never Owned One* . In my 56 years of Domestic Goddess life, I never did test drive one of these. I'm not a baker, so there's that. Cool earrings Caroline.
Those earrings are iconic 🙌🏻
Love those earrings! Where did you find them?

Caroline! Air fryers! I love mine and they are also cult status though they don’t look as cute as a Kitchen Aid mixer.
I think a Pound Cake was probably the first thing I made.

My Mama's most prized Kitchen Machine... xo
STOP 🥰🥰🥰
Although I would not mind a Basset Hound in my kitchen...
I want to be buried with my Kitchen Aid.
sponge cake
I have had fwo sonce 1974 and 2nd one 1975

I love that your old Ohio boy accent got in here Caroline :') "oh-kyay?!"

That’s reminds me of Avatar.
i'm sorry, but i can't hear a thing over your earrings ;-)
🎉😢
Lmao your voice is almost like the narrator in Avatar. I did a double take like wait.. did i click on Avatar?
