Theory time!
The metaphors here are very interesting to interpretate!
First, we have... The old man was sitting in one extreme of the bench, while a faceless man was sitting in the other, this might represent the final destiny of the souls, as various mitologies and religions know as heaven, hell and "purgatory", which was the word written in the old man's paper. I think he might be, kind of a guardian of the purgatory, and the faceless one might be the guardian of hell. Why hell and not heaven? We'll se later.
The setting, Cody is in a desert, as the song says, walking through the "sands of time", lost. The three ladies might be something related to the three fates in greek mitology, not much to say about them, Cody flees from them because you can't change your destiny.
The man with the wrist watches might be more a metaphor than a representation. Basically, wearing a wrist watch in the sands of time is cheating over your life, your destiny. And that's why Cody was trapped behind a glass.
Finally, he falls into desesperation and his journey through the sands of time goes downhill because of the cheating. Licking the blood may be that he's just accepting his punishment.
And finally, Cody is transported to the same bench where the faceless person was, meaning that his final destiny was... the bad one :P

What if he actually ended up in the purgatory, instead? The piece of paper he gets from the old man says "purgatory", after all. And I think it makes sense: the place we see at the beginning and the end of the video would be the purgatory and, in addition to it, Cody clearly sings that he regrets some of his choices, made during his life, but maybe it's just too late. I agree with you in regards to what you said about the three ladies at the beginning of the video. I think they represent the fate: at the end of the video, they are again haunting him and attacking him, in a way. They symbolise the impossibility of the human being of running away from his fate.
I won't agree with you for what concerns the wristwatches man, though. I think he represents the lack of sense of life: Cody is looking for a way to escape from time, but the man just offers an object you can use to measure it as a solution. A useless tool, then.
For what concerns the "invisible" wall, I think it actually represents the end of life. He has wandered for so long in that place he is now at the end of the path, and since he can't accept he spent his whole life doing useless things (buying a wristwatch, for example) or things he regrets, he becomes completely crazy (the blood scene).
At the end, the old man frees him from the prison life represents, but sends him to the purgatory, where it all started in the first place.
clarissa salvatore You're right, you got some great points. Idk, maybe I overinterpreted some aspecs.
And with the scene with the hourglass drawn in the sand, the five figures are walking counterclockwise, as if to represent a desire to move backward through time.
Also, was the wristwatch working? If it was stuck in one spot, it could indicate that he does actually want to stay exactly in this spot in time, but he has the watch thrust upon him anyway. Gonna stretch that one into people shoving their expectations that he never change/grow/AGE upon him, and he doesn't want that, either.
I really just thought of the glass wall as a way of implying that cody is trapped inside an hourglass, presumably the upper part because "falling through the hourglass".
So the desert might be the sand of the hourglass, and the wall the actual glass of the hourglass
I thought it was about procrastination and wasting time, You don't always get a chance to the things you want to, because time moves forward and doesn't wait.
