- Imperial is the newest addition to the ever growing Chestnut mountain bike park catalogue of trails, and like the other entries, this trail ROCKS, though it sets itself apart from the other flow/jump trails by offering more of a true singletrack vibe akin to something you might find out in Pisgah or DuPont...

Another thing that occurs to me is that your choice on when to talk and how much. I hope you continue to follow your gut and do what you need to in order to maintain the balance you need in your life. We’ve got friends/family that live 10 minutes away from that park so we will be hitting that spot multiple times this season.

I want to make it out to Chestnut Mountain so badly. Im gonna be staying in Marion for 5 days this summer, gonna try to hit Kitsuma! I live all the way out by Wilmington, we have some decent trail systems for a coastal area, but I crave an actual downhill.

I went to try these trails out for the first time three weeks ago and they were closed. Spent two years wanting to go here and finally made it up, of course my luck was no good haha. Went to kanuga instead.

What do you think of the fezzari rebranding? I started with a cascade peak and have been on a Delano peak the past couple years. There was a lot of commentary about how atrocious the name “Fezzari” was and it feels like they caved to the pressure. It honestly makes me less likely to keep repping them whenever I am due for a new bike. I always refer to my bikes as alloy fezz and carbon fezz. Oh and my princess bride shout out “fezzik are their rocks ahead?” is no longer applicable

It’s a heck of a bike! I’ve only been able to ride it a few times since I got it, but it’s so freaking smooth. Only gripe I have is that the Shimano chain is already rusting, whereas my hardtail has a KMC that I’ve used for years with no issue. I hope you love yours!

@@hedrick5286 hahaha very possible! I’ve had it for just about 5 months, hardly ridden yet, and I always dry my bike after a rinse/wash. Not sure what I did to anger the MTB gods in this case, but I’ll be switching to a KMC when I can lol
