My man, you are SO LUCKY to have a city that is so into its outdoor recreation, specifically the mountain biking. It's not all that common to see believe it or not!
Lived in Quebec City for 5 years and have nothing to say against the trails, they truly are fantastic. Major downside is that if you live near trails you’ll have to drive an hour to get to work and if you live near work you’ll have to drive an hour to get to trails. Ended up spending more time in my car than on my bike. Since I moved to BC, I still get high quality trails without the need to be driving all the time to go to work or hit the trails. Spending less money and time on driving around and car maintenance which I can put on riding longer and keeping my bike in good condition. If you want a biking lifestyle and have easy access to trails BC is the winner but if you are going on a holiday, want to see wonderful places and discover an underrated province, Quebec is the destination you are looking for! The trails and the view from Mont Saint-Anne are really stunning!
I moved to Quebec from Toronto 3 years ago and loving it! The trails in Southwest Quebec near Ottawa are also really good and new trails are popping up every month
Man Quebec is great! So glad you could enjoy visiting our beautiful country and enjoy a vacation with your Mom. Quebec city is so uniquely different than any other part of Canada. Stoked for you!
Alex bro, I'm really liking the travel vlog style videos! Totally understand that it's a big undertaking to do this type of video all the time...but definitely a welcomed switch from the traditional mtb videos. Cool that you're giving us insight to some of places that we've considered traveling to...thanks for the time and effort you put into editing and sharing this experience man!
Quebec City is awesome! Went there Aug. 2022, it's got that old world Europe vibe, then you can hit a little bit more modern parts. I wish I went mountain biking while I was there, but our itinerary was way too tight....but I'm going back for sure, especially after watching this!
Love the travel vlog mixed with hiking/biking POV footage you've thrown into the mix. It checks a lot of boxes for me. Quebec City has been on my list of places to visit but your video has moved it to the top of the list. Thanks, Alex!
Man, those trails were sick, constantly keeping you surprised and built so well. That trail centre is what it should these days. glad you and your mum had such a great time, looking forward more to these style of vlogs, travel, mtb and new cities.
Born in the province of Quebec and hoping to visit again soon! Its got lovely architecture and wilderness, interesting history, good food, and much more!
Omg if those are the blue trails I will stick to the green. Looks sick. I love Quebec city. Im in the next province Ontario . I know my next trip destination. Cant wait
If you're talking about that steep slab at the beginning of ''Belzebrute'', you have a chicken pass just beside... then the other slab with the optional jump, it is a lot longer but really not as steep as the first one. We did it while braking pretty much the whole way but then you also have a chicken pass, that one of my friend did. Nothing hard on that trail, I tell you, if you're riding blue trails in Ontario, you'll be good to do that one. ;)
From Montreal and spent the month of June travelling in RV discovering all the MTB spots around Quebec. Have to say E47 and SDM were the coup de cœurs. Pretty awesome for your channel to review our part of the world. You're welcome anytime ! Cheers mate
Well put together video brother. Glad you're enjoying it up here. I visited Quebec city last summer for the first time and hit le Massif while I was there. The whole area is just breathtaking, epic riding and cultural history. I can't wait to go back. Looking forward to your next vid. The travel vlog style is E.P.I.C...
As someone in NC I’ve honestly been really curious about Quebec riding bc BC is pretty expensive to fly to. Also Quebec would be an amazing final destination for a east coast mtb road trip.
Mannn, such a nice video, my favorite from you!! Yeah, probably because it is in my province but I really liked that you added that first part, just visiting everything with your mom! That was really cool and you are lucky to have the opportunity to do a week with your mom, before the bike. :) I lost my mom last winter and would dream to do such a thing.... so continue to do it while she still can, you'll have no regrets later and just good souvenirs to remember cause we are all leaving one day... Hope you'll come back another time, when we won't beat rain's record! haha
Quebec City is soooooo friggin good for riding, sharing your stoke right now man! Can't wait for your SDM video, that's my favourite of the QC riding centres. I'm going there with buddies in 12 days, but I cant ride cuz I broke Scaphoid 3 weeks ago :(
Dude! So bummed about your break, but your buddies are in for a helluva time. It was so incredibly awesome up there, and you won't have to wait long for SDM ;)
Dude! I've been watching your videos for a while now and I just realize you have a series of Quebec city! I believe I was working at E47 when you came by, I'm now operating through the Genetik bike shop that runs the workshop in SDM. Whenever you come back, do send word out so we can go out for some riding fun!
I live in Ontario and know about many of the areas in Quebec but have not seen Empire 47. Looks like a great place to ride. Looking forward to your next video. 🇨🇦
Empire 47 is relatively new so that would make sense, but I'll tell ya what, they have done it right! I'm excited to see what the future holds for them.
"ooh, it's not in BC? So I cou.... Oh it's still in Canada.... :(" I may not ever get to ride it, but I love seeing places like this! 11/10, would watch again
Man that spot looks great! I knew Quebec had some good riding but that's next level trails! And your buddy Gabe reminds me of seeing you riding with Seth! So smooth but fast and precise. Looks like somewhere else to take a look at. Thanks for sharing..✌️
i recently traveled to Colorado with the "not pro" evoc bag and it worked great for my large yt izzo but i can definitely see how that rail in the pro bag could make it slightly easier to load and the third front wheel would have made it easier to drag around the airports.
Think if you ever get the chance come over to the uk and try out the bike parks in wales (bike park wales and dyfi) I think you’d absolutely love them. Not quite the same atmosphere but so so much fun
Ik this is quite a while from Quebec but if you have the chance to come to bromont, you wouldn’t be disappointed. If you go definitely try out the new World Cup trail (#53) it’s amazing
I wish I could Have got that EVOC. Oddly REI in Tampa had an out of box Dakine bag. They couldn't find it while I was on the phone, said they would call back if they found it. I figured they were just saying that to be nice. 30 mins later they called and I snagged it, flew to Boston the next day.
How is it living full time in the van again? I hope to join you and the other MTBs Van Lifers soon!!! and just be tied in with the MTB Community!! How big is the van life MTB community would you say if had to estimate?
Hahaha tell me you watched the whole video without telling me you watched the whole vid :P Glad you enjoyed it my man, and AGREED. Pizza is always worth it.
Somewhere around october... probably like mid october. If we have a good fall season (not too much rain), fall is the best with the nice colors! End of september to mid october
Glad you loved it brother, it's easy to forget how great this is when these are your local trails
My man, you are SO LUCKY to have a city that is so into its outdoor recreation, specifically the mountain biking. It's not all that common to see believe it or not!

Thanks for visiting us! Nice to see how good riders from different horizons appreciate what we have in our backyard!
I moved to Quebec from Toronto 3 years ago and loving it! The trails in Southwest Quebec near Ottawa are also really good and new trails are popping up every month
Agreed !! Trails around the Ottawa capital region on the Quebec side are excellent! Gnarly, technical & steep!!
Man Quebec is great! So glad you could enjoy visiting our beautiful country and enjoy a vacation with your Mom. Quebec city is so uniquely different than any other part of Canada. Stoked for you!

Quebec City is soooooo friggin good for riding, sharing your stoke right now man! Can't wait for your SDM video, that's my favourite of the QC riding centres. I'm going there with buddies in 12 days, but I cant ride cuz I broke Scaphoid 3 weeks ago :(

Very enjoyable vid thx for your wholesomeness ☺️
Quebec is a great place to visit and ride. So many good options. The one downside is that all these major areas cost money to use.
I'm heading there in three days for a week! Can't wait to ride E47 and SDM!

Awesome video! Sleep hard is hilarious.
Man you really made Qc look good! You kind of forget about how nice it is when you live there 😂
Awesome...
Think if you ever get the chance come over to the uk and try out the bike parks in wales (bike park wales and dyfi) I think you’d absolutely love them. Not quite the same atmosphere but so so much fun
Great stuff mate
Ik this is quite a while from Quebec but if you have the chance to come to bromont, you wouldn’t be disappointed. If you go definitely try out the new World Cup trail (#53) it’s amazing

Hi sampler
Great video ..
Question, when is the best month to go and ride there ??
Quebec is top tier
Great video man! Love Quebec and its history... but real quick question.. is that a phone cable you are using for a hair tie @4:10?
hahaha nah it's just a looser style of band so it won't give me headaches XD
Pls go to winman trails and hit the red trail and glacial eractic
Best video to eat mac and cheese to
0:36 black diamond taxi rank 😆
So Alex did you learn that the rock is sticky for the most part even when wet? Just spent a week in the area again for the 3rd year. E47 rocks.
When u comin back to whistler??
Pizza is always worth it!
Hahaha tell me you watched the whole video without telling me you watched the whole vid :P

Could you go to snowmass Colorado?
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Stack paper to the ceiling and get stoked!
When does riding season end up there?
Somewhere around october... probably like mid october. If we have a good fall season (not too much rain), fall is the best with the nice colors! End of september to mid october
Welcome to mi casa
Kwa-bec? Q-bec? K-bec? Figger it out!
