Rosemary Butler's unmistakable vocals and David Lindley on slide...part of Jackson's genius is addition to composing, arranging and performing was and is to always surround himself with the best. David ..RIP. You are so missed.
This album/tour (RonE) happened during my college years. It was quite a staple for most all music collections. And the tour tickets were in great demand when he came 'round . . . This tour had amazing quality all around.
David Lindley on the lap steel guitar - truly one of the greats, played with many legends including Linda Rondstat, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Rait and Ry Cooder. Died last spring.
These Days, In the Shape of a Heart, Fountain of Sorrow and For a Dancer. I saw this tour circa 1977-1978. I was 16 or 17. I still remember sneaking a few joints into the arena as well as a bottle of southern comfort. I remember wearing Bell bottom jeans, some rock n roll t shirt and water moccasin sandals. Soundtrack of my life. I see him as many times as I can. Always has a super band with him as well.
This was the theme song for a movie of the same name. It was a pretty good movie based on the actual story of a married couple who were fugitives and hiding from authorities because of their anti war activities and protests. I agree that Jackson Browne is fantastic and is a great musician and songwriter. Thanks for this. 👏👏🥰😊

Jackson Browne is such a great singer song writer and musician and sounds just as good today as he did here.....and still touring

One of the "road" songs of my early years. Windows down and radio cranked all the way up.

One of my favorite songs! Thanks for posting!😊
I'm 70 now and this was my life in the 1970s like so many others.
Nice live performance! Wonderful guitar solos! I'm dating myself, but I'm a seventies gal, and Jackson Browne was an awesome musician. Next do STAY!
I'm excited, even before i watch! Love him!
One of my favorites!

The wonderful David Lindley on the slide guitar....
I found I'm surprised often .. I've been loving Jackson Brown for years not knowing it.
