@malislackin Am I? Half the field in that race had PR's under 10.15 and they were timed in 10.30 or slower. Pleasant's PR is 10.09 without being pushed by anyone the whole year. Including here.

As long as they can keep improving. Most people who are fast when young don’t make it to the top but some do. It’ll be fun competition. I’ll train for eternity in heaven or hell and I can’t wait to race people that fast.
Not very fast for high school people. James Nelson ran faster in 1972 in gym class with a hand held 100 yard dash. 100 yards are 11-12 % larger then meters. His 10.9 dash related to 10.1 and he ran on a sender track
Hand held timing usually has to add 0.14 seconds minimum 100 meters is approximately 8.5 % LONGER or typically 0.9 Your friend running 100 yards in 10.9 in 1972 would not place in NYS HS championships and his converted time to 100 m is 11.94. Your conversion is backwards
I get so angry 😠 bout that 1false start & a kid is out of the final after all those months of training, then on a kids final race because of a early start 😳 he's out of probably his last race in his High school career & the most important race of his "High School" career,(Sorry but it's just doesn't seem fair to the kid) "DAMN😢SHAME"!!! Pleasant literally sat in the blocks until the gun sounded and still ran 10.21. With a nice start he might have went under 10.
under 10 your crazy

False start from lane 7. Surprised they don't have actual reaction monitoring with pressure readings on the block pedals.
No, it was 6...then everyone else reacted
It’s High School level. No electronic monitoring allowed
