Mama Sue makes FRIED POTATOES AND SPAM | Quick Easy Dinner Idea | Country Cooking | Southern Recipe

We love fried potatoes at my house. If we want to kick them up a notch we add cubed Spam to them and fry them together. I don't use the whole can of Spam for the two of us but about half of the can. Cook some cornbread and you have a meal. I did have pinto beans with this and we enjoyed it so much.

Note: I tried making white bean soup, my beans stayed way too hard, although cooked the soup for 2 hours. I did soak them beans overnight. Hmmm, I will try boiling the beans for 20-30 min before putting them into the stew pot. Also I heard something about using 'no salt' until the white beans are cooked? Yes?

My favorite way to eat spam is to fry it remove it from the pan then scramble eggs in the same pan and mix with the spam. It’s really good with sliced tomatoes.
