I bought a 2024 GT with the Track Pack on 06/06/24.Love it so far. Given that my previous ride was a 2011 Ford Escape AWD XLT, adapting to the changes in technology is taking time. I'm considering pulling out the rear headrests to improve rear mirror visibility. My side mirrors do not fold, though that option is supposed to be on mine.
I just started seeing them at my dealership. They’re having big discounts though because nobody wants to buy the RT they don’t trust the batteries or just no huge discount right now at our dealership anyway.
Honestly, it was just too expensive at launch which turned away many. I think this is going to overall be a generally reliable vehicle with decent features for the price and sporty handling. Just BIG emphasis on price.
I have no interest at all in owning a Dodge Hornet RT as I would rather drive the Hornet GT! I have some concerns about cooling line leaks from connectors that run from the front to back & return! These cooling lines are only on the RT hybrid models! The lines go back towards the battery.

Bought a Hornet GT with Trak Pack whata Beast very quick, handles well and I am very impressed! I drove to Kelowna from Calgary, parked at the end of the trip no vibrations or eratic idling. Don’t understand why the fella in the vid was scared it was going to feel like the Alfa Romeo Tonale?!? Why would that phase you? Car handles like a European Sports Car… Nothing wrong with that!!! 🤔
I don't get why you wouldn't get the PHEV version of this. They seem essentially the same but with added horsepower when you charge it. I'm considering this vehicle but now I'm waiting to see if they are going to make a 2025.
Nobody in their right mind is paying $50,000 U.S. for a Hornet. The GT should start at $25,000, and the RT at around $30,000. Then they might sell. I'm talking U.S. dollars.
