You brought back memories of when I was 14 years old in 1969 and went with my Dad to the SEMA convention staying at the International Hotel. I saw Elvis for 5 seconds exiting an elevator. I think that same trip I saw Michael Jackson in the Jackson Five. It was the best hotel in the world and I am glad to see it has survived to entertain my favorite You Tube girls Norma & Lydia.

On my first trip to Las Vegas I stayed at the Westgate, so it has a place in my heart. At that time, I got free breakfast buffet with my stay. I really liked having the monorail station right there. I'd have no problem staying there again in the future.
*_THEE_* most epic, girliest, girlie-girl suite ... EV-ER! Your perma-grin's said it all. This challenge proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that off-strip hotels are the better deal in Vegas! The stip is cool. The strip is fun. But it isn't an absolute *_must_* when you have options like the Westgate! And that view!

I loved the Star Trek Experience there. The "transport" was one of the best fakeouts I ever saw in an attraction like that. I was also a pale, bald guy at the time so when they said one of us was Picard's ancestor, the guy standing next to me pointed at me and said "this has to be him, let's hand him over!"

Westgate is a few blocks away from the Fontainebleau. But those few blocks equals like 10 minute walk from there to Westgate. How do I know this? I walked from my room at the Fontainebleau to meet up with another group who stayed at Westgate back in July for EVO

This is one of the most underrated resorts in LV! And I think will quickly turn into a local favorite. Awesome sports book. Until Circa came around it was the best sports book in the world. One of the only Vegas resorts offering free parking, easy to get to, and connected to the monorail (which locals can ride for $1) I only wish they had more affordable food options.
We are going to West Gate next year for the ACRO Las Vegas Invitational. My Granddaughter Finley is an athlete and has competed in Vegas and Nationals Olympic qualifiers three years in a row. I had never stayed or gambled at West Gate before, so this video is very useful to share with my daughter in law, (La Jefa). Great report.

Benihana was one of the best field trips I took growing up. The food is so good and the chefs really are the best. I now still always look forward to Benihana on a trip.
Went to Westgate once, back in 2021 for a billards tournament friends were competing in. Didn't realize how huge it is. A beautiful resort. Wish I had spent more time there

Nice to see Westgate get some attention. I have never stayed, but I have walked through like twice. It's a nice place. I love its history. The sportsbook is amazing. (I can see this was shot in Week 3, haha.) Full coffeemaker in the room? I would run wild with that.
I stayed there in '22. Nice place! Oh and if you're considering smoking something that's "frowned upon" on property, might I suggest the pool area or the gazebo by the parking garage after sunset. You will be risking removal from the property if caught, so be warned.
I really want to stay in the Halloween suite but no alone. But it looks like that is the only way I’ll be able to experience it. I want to do it after F1.
