At the age of 15 I still had a curfew. Half of the parents don't even know what the hell they kids doing these days.

I had a curfew till I went to college but I still respected my parents home and would be home by 12 once I turned 18 or just come home the next day

Only 2 are really juvies. We had a curfew too and the worst things we did was skip school and throw snowballs at cars just to get them to chase us. Different times for sure.
Because the parents are throwing them to the wind to let them do what they want to do that's why the parents are not responsible enough to be responsible but yet they should be punished along with their kids for the kids crime and their actions.

Under the age of 21 most states regard that as an offense. No handguns for under 21--offense. Altered firing mechanism--offense. Drugs packaged for redistribution--offense. There's also a lot of single parent homes that "mommy" has lost control of her kids and refuses to do anything about it. I'm an adult, you're still a kid, your experience isn't anything compared to the years of experience I have. You also have a problem of Demoncrat leaders making up excuses and laws to excuse teen criminals, mostly because they deem it "rACist" to hold certain people accountable. You also have an issue were Demoncrats want violent gun crimes to happen so they can use those statistics to push the anti-gun narrative. @@riza4086 so if an elderly couple couldn't raise their kid right they deserve life in jail for the kids crime? If two parent's are divorced living in separate country's do they deserve jail for the kids actions, what about mentally disabled parent's do they deserve jail time, what if your in war single parent do a soldier get jail time due to not being back home, what about drug addicted parent's do they deserve jail even tho addiction is worse, what about high anxiety parent's, is jail right? What if parent's are good people of God and no matter what they do their kid chooses the wrong life do they deserve jail just because you believe they didn't do enough even tho they did everything, what about poor parents do they deserve to lose what little they have just because their kid couldn't grow up nice in a dangerous environment???

Stop the excuses most people in these situations have kids out of wedlock and never care about having a stable father or mother. It takes two to make a child. Maybe some people need to be responsible for rearing their kid and not have their child be a problem for others in society. Of course if the indivitual parent signs over thier right to said child that is fine but its on the other parent or guardian/government at that point. There is no excuses except rare circumstances which lets be honest most folks don't fit that bracket.
