I raced a guy with Rickman frame Suzi water buffalo engine. He was way faster than my GS1000 and my buddy with a Ducati SS 900. I crashed chasing them that day 🤷♂️😏😎💪🤘🏻🔧
Thank for sharing that Tom, I have seen the Rickman Cafe frame host Honda's kawasaki Norton and even Ducati motors but never a water buffalo....incredible. I too owned a GS ES 1100 in the early 80's.🤝

I had a Red Zundapp125 ball shift chrome cylinder bore powered that I built from basket cases in 1975. No one wanted them back when YZ and RM ,CR came out .I was 13 yo and built motors split cases sell taught growing up poor kid with no dad on long island new york. I owe everything to Dirt bikes and Outboard motor repair. Put me through University engineering degree. Never knew they put Yamaha motor in them Nice PS I had a Ossa MAR also wow!
I had a Rickman 125 with the high pipe and a Rickman Hodaka! You can't beat a nice shiny Rickman frame for drawing attention to yourself....Great looking and not too bad to ride. Wish I'd kept that Hodaka Rickman...Sold by Steens of So-Cal back in the day.
I had a used Rickman/Zundapp 125 as a teenager, so much fun until something failed inside the engine on a bit of a hill climb. My friend split the cases and it was a mess, a gear or something had exploded, had to let it go. Still have the sads!

Im taking screen shots kaplan . You just plain out did yourself finding this rickman. Ive been around bikes a long time and this is my first and its perfect in everyway . I'll bet Barber doesn't have one. If you could just get your hands on one of these. Be sure and take plenty of pictures for a life size blow up for your museum
I had one of those silencers on a 1972 yamaha MX250 that sounded just like this one in the video ..its cast aluminium and has a piece of screen wire inside for a spark arrester that makes it forest legal..i installed mine after i bought the bike and it made a little difference with more power. Cant remember who made them. But dont they sound great ?
You looked a bit to big for that bike lol I was starting to wonder if you we going to come back a one stage. Showing some restraint these days not poppin the front wheel up I could see you wanted to.
Not ugly, just old skool. This is what we rode in the late 60s. This is a new rolling frame with a 650 Yamahammer stuck into it not a restoration. Google Rickman and look at the prices for a rolling frame.

I got my zundapp 125 6 day brand new in 74 at a BSA/Triumph dealership. Rickman are incredible🏆

I've never heard of one. Personally I love the IT250, but wonder if these prodded Yamaha. This looks so much like an IT it's not funny.
