I remember playing several Minecraft ripoff games on my tablet when I was younger, and my favorite was always "Survivalcraft". It was quite derivative, but it had enough unique qualities to form it's own identity and is actually quite fun!
I remember always attempting to follow the ship as the crew marooned you on the island. I knew it was useless but iy was fun to see how far I could get before I would eventually turn around.
Survivalcraft is not a ripoff. that game is like if you want to play Minecraft but you want darksouls difficulty in it. It was neat to play the demo but eventually i got money and was able to get Minecraft, the difficulty of survival craft is pretty nice but if you manage to build a house and build a farm then the game quickly becomes boring because you just eliminated two hardships of the game: hunger and avoiding wild animals. The only thing left would be to get clothing for proper temperatures but then thats it, the incentive to keep playing just goes away.
@@Liability2 aw hell naw that game used to slap in 2016. i did leave it a couple more years of playing because the game was just becoming more and more obvious that its pay to win and it was gonna go the scummy mobile game route but i haven’t checked on it in a while since then so idk if much has changed so that play to win players don’t have to sit there grinding certain modes for months just to get a slightly better weapon.

While we won't be able to truly recreate the magic of the early days of mobile games, mobile games in the modern day amaze me on how many of them now have console quality graphics. And there are a lot of good mobile games if you look around!

And this is why I only play mobile rhythm games, they’re actually made with love and care and don’t beg you to buy anything or watch ads. Phigros, Orzmic, and DanceRail3 are great examples.

I think the company who made this game is related to Supercell, and you can see that they made this game with care at least. The piano tiles mechanic is simple and intuitive, the music selection is good and despite being a free-to-play game they don't throw you a bunch of ads everytime, all ads are chosen by you. Give It a try If you want
