it’s weird bc ive been able to ride with one foot since i first learned to ride a skateboard but i’m terrible at crouching down while riding, i always fall forward or backwards lol
i tried crouching its really difficult it wobbles a lot but after i tried it just like 3 or 4 times it worked for me , but i still neet to get perfectly used to it
Our streets and sidewalks are so full of rock and gravel that it's almost impossible to skate. Man how I wish to get back on a board. It's been years and I do miss it.
same I live in alaska and because of all the ice in the winter they use gravel to make it less slippery, which stays on the sidewalks during the summer. It's insane how much gravel there is. We have a single skatepark but honestly its just a place where people go to deal drugs. I had gotten into rollerskating and now I'd like to skateboard, but my tiny area of concrete in front of my house just isnt enough :(

@@Bababooey759 They were my first broken bone skateboarding... Try to practice pushing your tail on the ground, like a drop in position. That helps you balance when you mess up your manual instead of fall.

To land better on a board, try to do a caveman, it’s just a trick on how to land your board, and where to put your foot placement when your about to land your skateboard trick. Cavemen and the advice from the video is actually helpful. It makes your balance way better
I'm new and what helped me today was treating my skateboard like an endo board and just trying to do a manual without moving. And then I practiced ollies from a standstill and that was good. Anyways that's my 2 cents...I feel like as a beginner i spent my first few weeks spending too much effort trying to push and go fast and not just let the board do the work by going really slow and concentrating on where my center of gravity is while I'm on the board Your channel is super helpful BTW ty for the content
No you’re right. Watch any skate video when they bomb crazy steep hills. Whenever they get speed wobbles they stand up straight and put their arms up to raise their center of gravity and stabilize the board.

Yeah I'm a taller guy and if find if you crouch down but your foot is on the tail to start with it works well
