- we headed north on this beautiful Saturday morning, Our first light destination was a little island just north of bull bay. We got to the spot shortly after sun break and started hooking up on fish immediately. the bite died down some as the sun came up and the waters got hot. I decided to make my way back towards the ramp to do a little cut bait fishing. Hooked up on a solid redfish and a Monster snook that smashed my personal best record. @@DennisEllerbusch black rod is a PENN slammer 2500HS, orange rod is a PENN spinnfisher VI 3500.

Going to Matlacha mid September..I usually work Goodland/Everglades but I wanna get back up north. More boat traffic but hopeful it'll be light
