When flipping docks if i hook up on a drag ripper, im out of the kayak immediately bail open swimming or wading under the dock keeping it off the pillings. Unless i can fit under with the yak. I never use the rod holders unless im headed to a spot no lines in the water i keep my poles laying down so they dont get in the way during a fight or if i have to fit under something unexpectedly. Learned all this the hard way. First video ive seen from you will be watching more lol. Epic eats.
Those snook are smart man they definitely know to pull you into that structure! I know what it's like to break a brand new rod on the docks that's just part of the game! Everyone goes through that at least once or twice lol...There's NOTHING like those big blowups! Best feeling ever
When you've fished for snook longer in Floriida around docks, pilings, and piers you'll learn that the first thing they do is try to cut you off. Best thing to do is open the bail and try to weave through the maze.
Great video! Love seeing big fish caught from kayaks! One critique, generally applies to most fishing UA-camrs not just you, please stop calling everything “insane.” Consider changing things up with “amazing, spectacular, stupendous, wonderful, fantastic, etc.” I know I know I know, I’m being pedantic, but can we get out a memo about this to all the other fishing UA-camrs that’d be great! ;) Edited to add: Ok ok, at around 13:50 you used “insane” appropriately. I’ll not fault you for that one
The videography keeps getting better and better especialy for just "winging it", lol. Loved the dock move for that jack! Epic snook fishing keep it up, and that last one was awesome! Do you feel like the Tsunami Salt X reels are worth the investment? The Salt X II finally just released and I'm really interested in them.
Thanks man! I try my best! I got that salt x a little over a year a go and got to hold the salt x 2 at ICAST and they made some great upgrades to me I think it is.
Thanks man! I don’t give out any specific locations but put time into the east coast from Sebastian south and there is big snook like this to be had all along the IRL!
I love the kayak man it’s been my passion for 4 years now I have been branching out some. Got some cool videos coming on another small craft that’s pretty cool. I do see me getting a flats boat in a few years down the road
lmao that whole fight with that jack and then the sound it made was awesome lol. what a memory lol
Big ole snook. Good shit big e
