I'd like if the series ended with Carly and Freddie, married with kids. This show is airing on the internet, so there are no set backs on what can be on the show, like there is on TV. Miranda Cosgrove has done sex scenes before, but I don't think they'll go that far on iCarly. However, we'll have to wait and see.
@@blakeanderson9295 If you watched the original show, Carly and Freddie kissed, several times. They dated for an episode, that one time Freddie saved her life. In the new show, I haven't watched past season 1 I believe, but I've read that they are currently dating. I hope they make it genuinely an adult show. They probably won't do it, but it would be funny, while having sex, Freddie just goes rough and tells Carly she spent so many years friend zoning him spanking her LOL. But I don't think the show will ever cross into that adult. Although Harper seems to be quite the sexual adventurer since the show premiered.
I don’t think Freddie will get Mr Shay’s blessing, but Spencer’s blessing. The synopses for episode 10 says “Spencer offers Freddie guidance with a big life decision,” so maybe we will see that happen
I think you are right, but Spencer would never say no, Mr. Shay would be a more complicated arc, would be a more entertaining outcome. I would love if we got both.
Miranda did say in interview that there relationship itself is never the problem it’s how everyone else around them (aka Freddie’s family) reacts to them going out. With that being said I’m very excited for the rest of the episodes and to see how Millicent & possible Gwen learns to accept Carly.
@@livinglifeenjoytrue but I also think what if gwen didn't know About their relationship was more than just friends and seeing freddie and carly having a better relationship than gwen did might bring back old feelings and have her own problems with it. And millicent agrees with it and freddie put millicent in her place. I figured because this season freddie when he has scenes with millicent he talks about how he has to do better with how he discipline her and I feel her being rude to carly will get him to that point.
Carly’s manger’s show segments were the funniest parts of the episode for me. I love how his voice quivered when he was singing his show’s theme song. I at first thought the show was fake, like it was something he did when Carly was away, but knowing it’s real and gets views made it that much funnier for me.
I think you kinda missed the point of Marissa lol. It wasn't about her hating on Carly or disapproving of Creddie. She did approve, when they started dating. When the two kissed in front of everyone, she basically commented that she and Carly could be 'naughty girls' together. Marissa's problem wasn't their relationship. Her problem was shown in the earlier scenes of the episode. When she was calling for Freddie and he actively and deliberately ignoring her for Carly (it wasn't very nice of him though). The thing is, it hasn't been the first time Freddie has done that to her in the name of he's dating Carly. He's been frequently ignoring Marissa. I mean just look at how he planned a whole cruise with Carly on "Mother's day". Of course Marissa would get angry and insecure. Marissa was just afraid of losing her son completely to Carly. That's her problem with Carly. And thank God she addressed it and let Carly know. If there's any girlfriend of Freddie whom Marissa truly hated, that would be Sam. Remember how she tried so hard to separate Seddie, even resorting to bribing Freddie to do it. She even asked for Carly's help in separating them. Marissa always preferred Freddie dating Carly to Sam
What a good talk between Carly and Mrs. Benson. I think that there will be a proposal between Carly and Freddie. Do you think there will a serious talk between Freddie and Milicent about Carly before Freddie proposes to Carly?
This episode imo was one of my fave from the revival. Bringing two interesting plots into one, and wel written, real funny, loved Sandra from Superstore lmaooo. Everyone had great lines. Other than that flight to Ohio plot hole, I am a lil sad that Harper has been taken a back seat this season
The season 2 episode detailing Pearl's relationships with Freddie's family hinted that 2 big reasons Freddie's previous relationships/marriages ended were Freddie's own tendency to rush things, and Mrs.Benson being a just no MIL. Gwen may have had an easier time with Marissa Benson than the others, since she brought Milicent with her and becoming a grandma allowed Marissa still play an important role in her Son's new family. I still find it interesting that in season 1 Carly knew was close with Gwen as well as Freddie, but she seemed very new to Milicent. I can only assume that they either kept in touch mostly over social media, or that on any trips to Seattle Gwen and Freddie left Milicent with Mrs.Bension if visiting a Carly/Spencer.
Ms Bensons thing was definitely more about time with Freddie than hating Carly In episode 3 the ending scene has her kinda encourage Freddie and Carly And it seems months have passed so now would be the time where the time apart Ms Benson would start feeling weird
While the main focus was on Mrs Benson and Carly's relationship you can see that Millicent is also not a fan of Carly with her dad. Carly has her work cut out to get the family Benson like her! Which makes me excited for episode 9 and Gwen will probably help creddie with Millicent's acceptance of their relationship.
Do you think that Spencer and Paul will grow into becoming close friends? It would be interesting to see Spencer interacting with people of his age and to see Paul back more often. How would that relationship be like?
I wonder if Freddie will have a serious talk with Millicent about how she treats Carly. I can see Carly getting annoyed or upset with her & Freddie having enough. I wonder if he will give her an ultimatum about continuing to live with him or to live with her mother. That’ll be an interesting character development & will definitely help with Carly & Millicent’s relationship.
Freddie would never send Millicent away. For one thing her mom travels to much to properly watch her. For another he has stated multiple times that she is the most important person in his adult life. It was also astablished in season 1 that Freddie being in serious relationships scares Milicent, because issues in past ones have linked to him going through periods of depression and turning negative towards his life. Everyone knows this about Freddie and Milicent at this point, so it's kinda natural that she would be become more watchful/critical of Carly in this new dynamic.
Millicent can’t be with her mother because of her job Probably even Gwen will tell her to treat Carly as her step mum since she’s not there all the time or at least treat her with some respect
@@leahkent3915 true. But he should definitely tell her to stop being mean to Carly. She already never really liked Carly so that relationship has been establish but she shouldn’t be disrespectful. As someone with a brother (and we have a mom), the dislike makes sense. She can like Carly while disliking that she's taking her son away and projecting it in ALL the wrong ways. My mom did not like my sister-in-law when she first came around because she knew my brother was serious about her. But I loved this episode, especially the Creddie. So sparse yet so real and so obvious. Love the subtlety of it all. (Also was Mrs. Benson just not describing SAM? Hmmm). tbh one thing i really want to happen is freddie to man up and stop letting millicent act terrible towards him any progress they have is basically 2 steps forward 10 steps backwards
I really liked this episode I think engagement is the likely endpoint of this series now it’s now crossed over to being hinted at too many times in this season for it to not be a plot point I think the change in Marissa from season 2 makes sense because in season 2 they where prentendint (though she didn’t know) and she was supported of the relationship early on just like she was this season. Also about Millicent, I like how cool she is but she also has a big problem. She has been treating Carly exactly like before, I think. She has never been a big fan of Carly, even before Creddie started dating. I could be wrong though. However my main issue is how she does Freddie. Sometimes it's like Freddie is more of her classmate than her dad. She treats and respects Lewbert, whom she knows for a little while, than Freddie who has been responsible for her for a long while. Last episode when Freddie found out about her detention, she did not give a reasonable excuse to him. She basically said even if he knew, he couldn't punish her much.
