- Victorious, a classic Nickelodeon sitcom, stands out as one of the most iconic shows of the 2010s. Its quirky characters and amusing plotlines create for some really delightful moments that keep me coming back to rewatch. For the latest rewatch however, I decided to review and rank each episode as honestly as possible. As painful as it was making this, reliving the excitement and sharing my thoughts was an absolute joy and I hope you enjoy it too.

I personally don't mind the darker jokes. just thinking abt Cat answering the emergency line number makes me laugh. when she says "help is on the way!" and hangs up like I'm sorry that's so funny.
came here to say this!! i think during its time of air, this show's dark humor really hit different and shows that can remind you of a certain period of time through humor, top tier stuff.
Tori Goes Platinum is the real Victorious finale, in my opinion. In a way, it would make the show come at a full circle.
As for the songs, they're S and A tiers. They're absolute bangers.
Either that or the One Thousand Berry Balls episode with the Cow Wow. One last kickass performance with Tori and Andre together, Beck and Jade being back together again and Robbie and Cat finally expressing their feelings for one another. It's a perfect ending for everyone.

breakfast club and april fools was the first episodes i showed my parents to get them hooked on the show 😭😭 it’s often what i tell ppl to watch to start out with
i can see why it’s so low now though, there’s stronger episodes and while you have distaste for episodes being out of canon, i find the crazier wons fun just because they’re creative
@@rainebowshonestly I get why people like those episodes to me I don’t like them bc to me the breakfast club episode was very cringy and awkward where as April Fools was just too random and jumbled for me but again if you like it that’s ok we’re all entitled to our own opinions

I don’t think recommending the April Fools episode is a good idea. It’s so random you don’t get a sense of what the shows about or who any of the characters are.
I also personally rank it at the very bottom but that’s just me.

yk when u first started I was like “why is this one so low” but as u continued it made me realize how much PEAK episodes there are in victorious 😂 even the less entertaining ones were still better than a lotttt of shows

Something that always bothered me about the birth week song, especially when people talk about it, is they rarely mention the fact that Tori did buy Trina a gift (the bazzini boots) only for Trina to make the cardinal sin of buying some thing for herself right before her birthday, with that being those boots. And you know that if Tori had given money to buy herself something, Trina would’ve made a fuss about it.

Cat and Trina were my FAVORITE Victorious characters, so I LOVED Tori The Zombie, I wished they interacted more. I wished Trina interacted with Jade more too, they were funny in that Brain Squeezers scene
I liked Trina but Cat was honestly one of my least favorite characters in the show I especially hated her in Sam and Cat
Cat's New Boyfriend is definitely the worst Tori Vega episode, and is the only one where it is truly justified to dislike her. Cat is so kind and positive, and it honestly never felt like Tori was ever truly her friend, especially in season 1. There are a lot of moments where Tori would just seem like she didn't like her, like when Tori and Andre are talking, then Cat interjects, and the way Tori looks at her is so judgmental. It's not funny at all to watch such a nice person be treated poorly. I think seasons 2-4 get better at that, where they stop treating Cat so badly. Season 1 Tori confuses me though, because she is a part of this friend group, yet is only friends with one person in it. I think the creators got a note of this, cuz in season 2 and after, Tori was WAY nicer, it's like she went from acting like Zoey Brooks to a Carly Shay
Damn you got me with that last line. To be honest I HATED Carly even more than I did Zoey but that's only because I loved iCarly way more and it meant more to me than Zoey 101 so Zoey and all her sh** didn't bother me as much on a personal level. But Carly would always act so innocent and everyone would make her out to be the best friend in the world but...she just stood by all that time and allowed Sam to abuse Freddie. More often than not dismissing Freddie's feelings and telling that's just how Sam is and to get over it. Between doing that to Freddie and using his feelings for her as a means of manipulating him into doing stuff for her, I legitimately wanted to punch her through the tv screen. At least with Zoey it wasn't a case of one of her friends being physically and emotionally abused by another and her just letting it happen.
@@truthseeker9249 I agree completely, Zoey 101 is kinda irrelevant (no shade), so I see why. It’s just when I did rewatch it, I was completely thrown off by how mean-spirited Zoey and basically the entire friend group was. But I definitely felt the same way about Carly Shay, I hated that they always TOLD and now SHOWED, like (the Valerie episode) they would say how Sam doesn’t appreciate Freddie, but Carly does…when that’s not the case at all, Carly is just as ungrateful to him. Sam is a literally BULLY, I would call her behavior abuse both physically and verbally to Freddie, it is not right AT ALL! And Carly stood there and allowed it to happen, that’s not a real friend. I do love the scene in iKiss when Carly finally puts Sam in her place for how she mistreats Freddie, and how she went too far, that’s my favorite scene in the entire series. If I was Freddie’s friend, or even someone who knew him, I would absolutely stand up for him, but Carly almost never did. This is one of the reasons why I dislike both Creddie and Seddie. I hated when Mrs. Benson was portrayed as a villain for not wanting Freddie to date Sam. And I hate how the revival series tried to rewrite history and make Carly seem like she always liked Freddie, no she absolutely did not. I wished Freddie found a new girl to be with, that treated him how he was supposed to.
@@truthseeker9249 my big issue with the Zoey 101 friendgroup is how they would always insult Quinn by calling her a freak and a dork in one breath, then use her for her intelligence next (Robot Wars is a big example of that). It’s a shame how she was practically left out of the group until season 3, because they only had her there to use her. And I also hate how they use Logan for his money or his privileges, then insult him, call him a jerk, call him an idiot, or physically cause him harm through “pranks”. Although Logan is a bit difference since he’s problematic, I just don’t think the other characters are better. I hated seeing them gather around to laugh at him like in the episode where he tutors Zoey in chemistry where they put a spider in his pants. Zoey and Logan agreed it was embarrassing to keep it secret, so he made a lie to nosy Chase that they were dating, then they tried to get revenge on him for that. Or the Spring Break episode, I just don’t understand why they’d go on vacation/reality tv with a guy they hate, and then not even pick him for team captain, but choose Chase…it’s completely unfair
tori was always closest to andre so it kinda made sense she started slow with the others
I really wish this show had a finale it deserved it.
"Wok Star" is probaby one of the best characters pieces in not just Victorious but Nickelodeon Sitcoms in general and isn't talked about enough

The Tori Vega hate train is crazy. She was always my favorite character.
To me Andre is my favorite character in the show but I do agree with that Tori gets too much hate me personally Cat was my least favorite character as I hate the complete moron character in shows like these

Girls hates Tori in real life because they’re assholes themselves, so they cannot resonate with Tori and how well behaved she is.

Tori is a fucking hilarious main character. She's like a female Seinfeld or something. People seem to miss the joke that Tori fucking sucks as much as the rest of the crazy teenagers, even though she *believes* she's the straight man in this scenario when realistically, probably Andre is. It's a great subversion of expectations of what we expect female protags to be like.

this is a great video, this is just a suggestion but next could you do a video like this on icarly or zoey 101? Particularly zoey 101 because nobody acknowledges it on tv show analysis youtube lol, its a great show and could make for an interesting video! Also, you're very underrated, you should have way more subscribers and tbh this was the video that made me sub!

It`s interesting to me that you ranked one of the episodes i hate the most in 2nd place xD Trina is even more annoying than she usually is, their parents show what awful people they are (i mean there are many situations but this one is the one that shows it a looot) and Cat has to tell the girl that Beck is in a relationship because Beck doesn`t have the balls to do so. I don`t hate him or something but i always question what kind of guy he is for always flirting with other girls but gets surprised when Jade is jealous. But I appreciate Cat here for being a good friend to Jade. Anyways, the video was so cool to watch ^^ I needed a few days to watch it but thank you for your effort :) :)

So many of the "runnng gags" in Victorious are so weird because they'll occur in like...two or three episodes...and then NEVER again.
I think that makes it funnier tbh
but the whole thing in most of the episodes is that you're expecting sth to happen bc the plot is so typical and familiar - and then it just doesn't happen. Now maybe it seems weird or boring to younger ppl, idk, but to me in those years it was what made this show stand out among other similar things...

In conclusion Beck was the worst character and Tori isn’t as bad as fans try to make her appear to be.
Trina, Jade & Andre are the clear best characters where as Cat & Robbie are questionable at times.
Glad someone mentioned how Robbie can be questionable his weird obsession with cat and his refusal to take no for an answer was so uncomfortable to watch.

Jade? A best character? 😂 She is absolutely terrible. She’s always bullying Tori, like pouring coffee on her and humiliating her, even after Tori is downright selfless and tries to help Jade when she absolutely doesn’t need to (and Jade doesn’t show appreciation, of course). And don’t even get me started on how manipulative and vindictive she is. She sabotages Tori’s prom and even falsely accuses her of hitting her. Who does that? Her relationship with Beck is a whole other mess. She’s overly possessive and sometimes even physically aggressive. She never really grows as a character, and her bad behavior is glamorized because she has this “cool” persona. Watching season 3, episode 24 always shocks me every time because literally only 3 episodes away from the final episode of the series, Jade is still extremely horrible and selfish and probably even worse than in the first episode. Idk how on earth you can slander Robbie and praise Jade in the same breath.

He entertains other girls while dating Jade & was quick to ask Tori out shortly after his break up. Just a trifling & boring character

Episodes like wok star make me wish Victorious was a Netflix teen drama. We would’ve gotten sm more of jade, and the others’ (cats brother I’m looking at you), family lives. Also the way I call multicoloured popcorn bibble to this day. It’s up there with PRINDL from suite life.

Season 3: The Gorilla Club or The Worst Couple “nope, Tori Vega is not ready for the Gorilla club.”

omg april fools blank is my favorite episode 😭😭
i always found it annoying that they were all mostly students following the same path, which made some stories feel unnecessary and repetitive.
beck's specialty being acting means nothing when theyre ALL also the leads in the school plays and tori being a singer is less exciting when it seems both jade and cat are taking that track too (though i understand a rivalry aspect, which they dont do at all).
if they all had different educational tracks then the stories could be more varied and they could each shine.
tori being a singer, andre being a songwriter/producer, beck being an actor, cat being a costume designer, robbie being a comedian, and jade being a scriptwriter would make for fun plots.
when they get into antics beck could smooth talk his way out of something or pretend to be their dad/teacher with the help of cat's wacky costumes. they couldve had more theater-based plots where jade writes the script, andre writes the music, and tori has to get acting lessons with beck since her singing is great but her acting is sub-par (which also means jade writes more demanding roles to make tori suffer).
instead we get the same relationship drama recycled over and over because theyre all basically doing the same things over and over

Something that would be cool but no one care; the perfect ending of the show could be an episode when Andre and Tori became boyfriends and Robbie and Cat too. Don't get me wrong, I had nothing against Sam and Cat but I think that the show was perfect as unique and doesn't need a spin off crossover with another series. I think that Andre could be a perfect couple to Tori because they are cute together. But if you expected that Jade and Tori could be girlfriends (which means girl who likes another girl and not to girls who could be friends (in Spanish is much easier to see to me)) then just dreamed it or hope that Liz and Victoria aproved it.{
But I'm not changed my mind about Robbie and Cat. Both kids were funny and none of them hate nothing about the other.

TBH most of the worst ones to me are the ones that have absolutely nothing to do with going to a performing arts school.

i guess they maybe want to incorporate things to make them seem like normal teens as well, or to shake things up a bit and keep it interesting for the audience. that’s the only things i could think.
