Some crunchy patterns, partly because they are crunchy and partly because things got a little loud while recording, but maybe I was inspired by the blunders of Daniel Miller and Gareth Jones last night, well, that's what I'm saying it was anyway.

heavy raster noton vibes, i love it
Nice one. Appreciated. I haven’t kept up with the later Raster Noton stuff actually, i need to check back in, it’s been a while. I listened to that early Nibo release loads and Taylor Duepree’s Polr is still a firm favourite of mine, although so many good ones.
This must be the most complete one so far. Lots of immersive sounds to chew on! This could be a good basis for the live performance. Appreciate the comments about minimalism, making simple things with rich sounds!
Thanks 🖤
The external fx and mixer make such a huge difference to it sounding more complete. I held off using them for a long while until knowing the Rytm a bit better, but very fun to have them finally connected.
another great one.. love this setup
Cheers, yeah it’s been pretty fun little setup
I really like your videos. Thank You for sharing, i bought a rytm a few days ago. So far it's nice, I also use individual outs.
Also it's reassuring to listen to a fellow comrad when my whole country is steadily diving into litteral neo-fascism.
cheers from france
Ah nice. The Rytm is a beast. Definitely start exploring the drive section in the fx and gain staging to get closer to your Mackie sound, although obviously distorting in the Mackie is far better IMO.
Countries are always falling into shit when governments are involved. France, like others, are looking pretty scary. Nice to meet you here comrade, don’t be a stranger. 💜🖤
@@ExpectResistance thanks for the tips ! I still haven't use the master distortion. But all my toms tracks go through master so I might test this in a moment :D
Also I just listened to eurk 01 to 05. That is absolutely awesome, many great acid tracks I never heard before. Like short skirtz or girlz.
May I ask what synth you used on "pacified machines" ? Is this a 101 or a modded TB ?
Thank you :)
So DWOO was Tony Clements and Chris Paynter, although mainly Tony. I was about in the background after meeting them in 94/95, but am working with Eurk now and on new DWOO material with Tony hopefully for this year.
Pacified Machines is using the TB303 but typically not using the internal sequencer, and instead using the Atari STE to sequence it via old Kenton midi-to-cv convertor boxes. The OG 303 doesn’t have cv and gate in, but you could get one fitted from Kenton pretty easily. Mine has the same kit actually.
I think it’s probably my favourite from Tony, such a crazy track!!
@@ExpectResistance hey ! Thank you so much for your reply.
My re303 has this mod as well : cv/gate/slide/accent/cutoff (similar to the 5sockets CV mod from Kenton).
I drive it with a kenton prosolo mk3, but it's so rare to find someone using this mod that I thought the pacified machine was using a 101 with external sequencing.
Can't wait to hear the new Eurk releases then :D
Oh, and the voters in my country fought back the far right. but they still have 1/3 of the parliament and a lot of medias (which is the real issue..they brainwash people). Anyway x)
Cheers !
It does seem most people would use the 303 and its internal sequencer, for good reason too, but its all about exploration and experimentation and so crazy sequences on the Atari got some mad sounds.
Glad the rights lost but it’s some crazy shit still. I do see some curious beginnings of steps towards anarchic practices over here, way off yet but at least people are thinking and doing something different.
lovelyyyy - ive been very inspired by your traks n jams lately. Do you take demos ?
Niiice. Glad. Yeah sure, always up for listening to stuff.
Im waiting to hear what you do with Analog Rytm os1.7
Oh damn!!! I totally missed this!! Thanks for mentioning it.
I’m playing live this week, so as soon as I’m done I’ll update and do some videos on this for sure.
Hey man, you really inspired me to take my rytm into the techno realm..
I would love to know how you config your individual outs into the mixer as far as how you set your fx and how you over come the pan option that get lots.. any information would be appreciated
I run main into Tascam 24
Thanks, glad to hear it. It’s a great machine.
At the moment I’m using 1, 2, 5 and 6 for mono sounds and 9 & 11 and/or 10 & 12 for stereo sounds. I turn off all sounds to main, and just have the fx out the main.
I’m not sure what you mean about the pan? I assume you mean if individual out, in that case it’s not used and just use the mixer pan.
Hope that helps, happy to share more though.
lasers everywhere
Cheers. Love a resonant staby sound.
👍👍👍👍👍

@@ExpectResistance 🙂
lock techno
🖤
Wanna find some more abstract and tonal stuff i think to balance the lock in.
well you do talk about the appreciation of the minimal approaches especially when it allows qualities of the setup to come through. its an important point @@ExpectResistance
it's kinda crazy to get this much lock techno out of one box when you consider the arsenal of roland x0x things used for it in the past @@ExpectResistance
@@0e0 yeah totally 👍
Been spending most of the time after doing this video just working with simple sounds and even not using the sequencer and playing loops manually, helps loads to keep things simple
@@ExpectResistancemanually like tapping them out on the pads?
