I went to school with Carrie. She is genuinely a nice person. She was our class president from middle school to high school, and she was nice to everyone (in high school, that's saying a lot). It's been so exciting to see her success from The Leftovers to Gone Girl, Fargo, The Post, The Gilded Age, and Ghostbusters. She's an intelligent, talented actress, and I wish her all the best!
I just realized I was on campus, at UW, same building as the drama department, when she was there. She must have been in the same auditorium when Tony Kushner visited. I wonder if she got tear gassed by Madison PD during Halloween too?
Was there, she said a lot of other stuff off camera about the plays and everything in Chicago, as well as just having fun, genuinely such a witty person
I consider her a Meryl Streep level actress. She is incredibly talented. I have studied acting for decades and worked professionally as actor. She IS incredibly talented.
Fascinating interview and information in regards to the Boston Strangler. Love the clip that was shown. It makes me really want to see this film. Too many strong, intelligent and powerful women have been erased from history, as men stepped forward to take credit for the work that a woman or women have done. It's beyond time to recognize and give credit where credit is due.
I’ve been a fan of Carrie Coon since she starred in a season of FX’s Fargo. What a chameleon of an actor! Fargo, Gone Girl, The Nest, The Gilded Age, and so many more. BRAVO!! 👏👏👏
What I find so remarkable is that she looks so different in many of her roles - and it doesn't seem to be down (all that much) to hairstyle, makeup or prosthetics - I think that most of the effect comes from inside her being. I'm a great fan!
I wasn't initially a fan of Carrie's character in the Gilded Age but she really grew on me - by the end I realised that she owned almost every room she walked into. I'm not a student of acting but I strongly suspect that incredible projection was developed on the stage. For those who may find period pieces tough going, I would encourage you to give TGA a look.
I can't quite put my finger on it but, I was exceptionally/pleasantly surprised by this interview. She seems... classy/classic, brilliant, well-rounded, unique, and frankly - remarkable. She would be at my "dinner table guest" game invite list.
Carrie Coon plays Proxima Midnight in the Marvel Universe, and Mrs. Russell in the Gilded Age. Not to mention all of her other great performances. She's a very versatile, talented actress.

Probably the most disturbing quote from this movie - and a sort of testament to it's truth, "there are many Albert DeSalvo's out there. Men kill women. It didn't start with Albert. Sure as hell doesn't end with him either." The fact that these murders were ignored by the authorities and would not have made the public aware if not for the bravery of these journalists, these women - I mean, as a society, maybe we've progressed a little, but when we have a problem, we'd like to think the captain would patch the holes faster than we'd be bloody sinking. Thank God for people like Loretta McLaughlin and Jean Cole who fought when their colleagues didn't fight hard enough, and thank God for people like Keira Knightley and Carrie Coon who get to tell their story.
i've never heard of her & only watched it because it is stephen but i'm glad i did, what an intelligent, srticulate woman with a great sense of sarcasm, beautiful too as if that matters, she & MMM are in the same league, thats magnificent miriam margolyse & a sense of humour is what first attracts me to anyone. i thought stephen was doing a 'stock questions' interview with his random choice of topics with her new movie being an afterthought but she was funny, engaging & interesting, which is more than you can say about any male actors, even the twinks. i'll look out for her work in future.
I effing LOVE Carrie Coon. Adored her performance in The Leftovers and Fargo. Honestly wish this segment was longer, would've loved to hear more than the soft interview/VP propaganda in the previous segment.
My favourite actress, she' genuine, smart and beautiful. I haven't seen her in a movie or a tv show (haven't seen them all) that would be bad, only a good stuff.
Significance of the pics I had on my phone when still psychotic in 2019 & 2020. Idk why I chose them. Something I tried to focus on to get me through about what matters? Idk.
And by all means let's force those who can't afford to feed the kids have more kids or kids who have no ability to make money to feed a kid have a kid because they were raped or molested so that CPS can take the kids no one can afford away from them to have tax payers pay for a foster family to raise them.
She looks like a young Hillary Clinton (in a cooler-looking suit than Hillary has ever owned). Question: Why does the current women's fashion trend have them wearing suits that are 1 to 2 sizes too large? I've noticed this several times in recent appearances by female celebrities on The Late Show.
So two ladies warn the public that they, their wives, or daughters need to be careful, 'cause there's a murderer on the loose, and they're thanked with death threats. Yep... sounds about right. * sighs *... sounds about right.

How awesome, thanks for sharing!

I love her in the leftovers. Great story .
Carrie Coon is an underrated treasure. What a powerhouse of personality and charm.
I love such guests! Quick witted, accomplished, instant chemistry with the host!
Confused now intelligent for u Chad lol
More of her please. She was a lot funnier than the audience gave her credit for.

I believe she's the best actress working, there's nothing she can't do honestly
She is SO GOOD in The Gilded Age!
Her performance in The Leftovers was one of the best I've ever seen the best series ever made.
Flawless vipers at strip club?

She was tremendous in Fargo.

I believe it’s considered a war crime that this woman was never even received an Emmy nomination for her role as Nora Durst in The Leftovers.
Me
She's a very quick wit.
A phenomenal woman
Love her as an artist in "The Nest"
I love Carrie Coon since The Leftovers. She’s amazing.
Yesss! Also season 3 of Fargo and Gone Girl ❤

Love her so much!!! She is such a badass in The Gilded Age and I love it!
Didn't even know this movie was a thing. Can't wait to watch it. Carrie and Keira are both great actors.

What a lovely lady - cute as a truckload of baby ducks!
What a delight
She was amazing In The Sinner, highly recommend!
That’s where I first got my eyes on her. Now I’m on The Leftovers. Amazing actress.
Loved Carrie on The Gilded Age. More impressive is that Louis got the band to perform EXO's "Love Shot". Who knew those worlds would collide???
It's the love shot! 🔫
I love her!!!!❤
One of the biggest Emmy snubs in history --- Carrie Coon in The Leftovers. Criminal.
Loved her at American Players Theatre (That "outdoor Shakespeare theatre")!
She is beautiful but mostly love her voice and charisma.
I bet she could play a hell of a Hillary Clinton
Why would you wish that upon *anyone?*
🎉
Ok rt!!? I can Totally see it n DEF i can "Hear" it.
I just love her. Like anything she does or say make me smile.😍
She was epic in the leftovers,Shame she never got an emmy for it....
Just a small observation, I love Stephen’s tie…the color is fantastic.
Welp, I love her.
Wow the band playing Exo's love shot in the intro was unexpected
I was like wait wait... Love shot damn 👌🏻😍
IKR! I was like... is no one going to talk about that casual drop of Love Shot as her entrance music??? Nice one!
Okay I was hoping someone else heard that & it wasn't just me 😂

For sure idc
The intro song being K-pop is so iconic!
She and Tracy Letts are such a beautiful couple ❤
I feel like he was perhaps a bit smitten by her poise and quick wit. She had him stuttering all over the place! 😘 😄
I see what you did there Louis Cato and “THE LATE SHOW band”! Shout out for casually dropping in Exo's Love Shot!
Loved the suit too.
She plays badasses with heart❤️❤️
I wasn’t introduced to Carrie Coon til The Guilded Age. My new FAV actress.
She would be a great pick to play Hillary Clinton if there's ever a bio movie about her.

"showmance" ;-)
I need the second season of the Gilded Age.
she talks fast and a lot! must be a good soul.
Wait did the Band just played Love Shot by Exo? wth
Did the band just play exo love shot?
No wonder I love her, my daughter Nicole was born on January 24th.
I want to see more Gilded Age.
Her, Annette Benning, and Tey Leoni look like they could play as relatives in a film together.

She will have to change her name to Cheer. But only if she came to live in Australia.
That intro... EXO's "Love Shot"

@@trappdawg255 why are you obsessed with me?
I’m not sure why Kim Nelson was so strange on the phone on 9/11. I kept picturing my flights from Boston and other things when talking to her.
Or Lydia saying “do you think they are done?” And my mom not talking about it at all.

Also in Fargo.
So, the title simply rewords one 3-second sentence in the entire 8mins clip? Click-bait?
