Marvelous Marvin Hagler was the best years before he finally became the middleweight champion. I remember remember reading an article in Big Book of Boxing saying that he was the uncrowned middleweight champion. 2 years before he was Finally Crowned. Rest in with love. A true fan knows you. I know what you did. Met you you shook my my hand and said Thanks. Love you brother.

That right handed uppercut that dropped Willy was beautiful.

    Fair play to Willy Warren.
He tried to box with MMH, and didn't resort to dirty tactics like so many others did.
    He was clearly outclassed.
    RIP MMH.

Warren was a warrior, had more loses than wins but was always down to throw down when asked, him & Marvin passed away the same year, RIP to him & Marvelous Marvin Hagler

They all new Marvin was too Dangerous that's why they chose to not let him have his shot at the title till he had far to many fights before becoming champion they should be a shamed. 👍

Marvin looks so much bigger than Warren. But Warren was game and Marvin took care of business. I don’t recall that Marvin ever took any opponent lightly. And it shows here.

Good day coachstrout marvin hagler had a fight with Roy Jones Sr. The father of Roy Jones Jr. Is there any way possible you can show us the viewers that fight I would really appreciate that coachstrout thank you for all you do!!

That Roy Jones was NOT the father of Roy Jones Jr. That's one of the more enduring 'urban myths' in boxing.

@@petierican6079 you sir are VERY CORRECT...nicely done my friend...i narrowed down my search with date you provided and found this...i stand corrected ...thank you for that very interesting info
Roy Jones Jr. was born to a family with a boxing tradition. His father, Roy Jones Sr., a Vietnam war veteran who was awarded a Bronze Star for valor after he rescued another soldier, was also a middleweight boxer. Roy Jones Sr. fought Marvin Hagler on June 10, 1977 (which happened to be Hagler's 36th pro fight,) on the undercard of the Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Vinnie DeBarros fight. Hagler knocked Jones Sr. out in the third round and received $1,500 to Leonard's $50,000.[

Fighting in the other guy's hometown and not being a big puncher is not a good combo usually.
