On June 6, 2014, Luke Skywalker himself Mark Hamill made his first-ever appearance at Walt Disney World's Star Wars Weekends, discussing Episode VII, the original trilogy, and offering plenty of hilarious examples of his voice acting work including imitations of Harrison Ford, Alec Guiness, George Lucas, Yoda, and more.
I can't believe this is the guy who says "but uncle Owen I was going to go to toshis station to pick up the power converters!!!" Lol I love this guy
He's also this guy: ua-cam.com/video/zVtod0VYNQs/v-deo.html
I can't stop hearing Tidus interviewing Joker.
I know, and it's awesome :D
Not to mention Ratchet from R&C games and Skips from Regular Show.
*laughter intensifies*

Psychotic Ninja Or the voice of Leonardo in “TMNT (2007)”.
If he hadn't introduced himself as Obi-Wan's voice, I would have gone through life blissfully ignorant in thinking they'd kept Ewan McGregor for Clone Wars.. I feel like I've learned Santa isn't real.
i though everyone though it was him until he said that ewan was the one doing it
Sodomy and Cocktails me to
wait Santa isn't real?
That just shows how good he was at the Ewan voice!
@Brett Hilbert I hear the same guy.
James is just as amazing.
Mark Hamill looks great. I love the beard. He;s defiantly looking like a Grand Jedi Master of a certain New Jedi Order to me!
simhopp or that they are no where close to filming episode 8 yet and he wanted to shave since he didn't feel like keeping that huge beard for two more years.
Mark Hamill killed a person in 1995. Look it up.
Vic Vinegar II don't believe every thing you. see on the internet
Rip
Well, that was a big oof!
Mark is the most genuine nice guy and I can't even describe how happy I am that he is going to be back as Luke!
He is the ONLY reason I'm going to see Star Wars EP. 7
Kerry Moorber you aren't going for the sake of seeing a new star wars movie?
+bottle2lip did you get what u hoped : ) ♡
I’m so sorry...
@@luish8056 yup, it's interesting seeing this comment years later. Knowing what has happened to Star Wars
I must say, Mark looks absolutely awesome, considering he's 62 years old.
he does
Incidentally, that's the same age as Sir Alec Guiness was back in -76.
wow never knew that
Yeah he's looking pretty good these days
Mark Hamill is a freaking MASTER at voices. He will be an awesome older Luke in Star Wars 7! Just imagine him throwing on a deeper grizzled voice for Luke... *shivers*
No question he's going to rock.
And then we find out a year later that he never talks once in the whole movie...
And then we get what we get in ep 8...
RIP
And then we get to the end of the new trilogy and realise what they did to him and the trilogy :(
Thank you SO much for recording and posting this! As a Disney Cast Member, we are not only blocked out this weekend, but I had to work :( . Not even to mention the crowds (I reckon were huge!) to see him! So there was no way I would have been able to see this. So thanks again and keep up the good work!!!
His impression of Sir Alec Guinness left me weak. *LOL*
+Random J - ?J Mark sure is a master at imitating voices.
Absolutely love Mark Hamill. He was my hero, growing up and it's awesome that he's such a nice, decent human being. I wish him nothing but the best.
Unless you disagree with him politically. Then he gets very touchy, sadly.
Reading all these comments about Mark Hamill's mastery of voices and laughing at people not realizing the insane career that James Arnold Taylor has had as well. My absolute two favorite voice actors!
"Come on in! Have a Sith!" would have been marvellous XD
Or: “take a seat, young skywalker”
I feel a little touched getting recommended this years later, and seeing all the hopeful comments about the new Star Wars, the thrills, the theories. It makes me sad to see what Disney has done.
*Lucasfilm
Disney has made TCW, the mandolorian, and rewrote Rogue one, also Solo is actually a pretty good movie
cry
@@kaidenbraught4573 What do you mean Disney _made_ The Clone Wars?
@@mara_cleia3959 whoops didn’t mean that one
Met him once, nicest gentleman in the world. Very kind. I wish him luck but also, I wish him luck in his other adventures once SW, is over and done with. Peace
Nice to see a movie like this being made under these economic conditions. I hope it does well. Thus, well for all people who wish to see a cool movie for an afternoon, not just fans.
Whoever came up with that "Star Wars/Monsters, Inc." Parody clip at 32:24 - 32:52 is a Genius! Absolutely HILARIOUS! XD
On top of Spider-man, and Obi-wan lol James Arnold Taylor is the strawberry mini-wheat.
That's awesome!🤘
"Give one word or sentence about the actor"
Gives entire paragraph
Batman Arkham city getting cheered at a Star Wars convention is some thing I never would think would happen.
Bumped into Mark Hamill in Liverpool on Saturday night. He was coming out of the Cavern club after buying some T-shirts. Nice fella.
Very fun interview! Great seeing you two together on stage. :) Can't believe it was 8 years ago!
Ratchet interviewing the Joker. Ayy lmao.
Thanks for answering my question first, Mark! So cool!
This guy has spent more time (and possibly earned more money??!!) talking about Starwars than actual "acting" in the films. Awesome. I've heard him talk about that "Sullust" quote more times than I've seen the films! He clearly loves Starwars and everything about it. Good for him. Bring on epVII, hope its good.
Ahh yes two of my favorite voice actors who also work with Star Wars
This is awesome - JAT and Mark H!! I love them both...
I can't hear James Arnold Taylor without hearing Tidus from FF10
Tidus: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Yuna: You probably shouldn't laugh anymore.
Thanks for posting this for all of us who couldn't be there.
What a class act. He really seems like an average Joe more than any other actor I can think of.
Whoever I must thank for posting this,...thanks for posting this. A rainy day here and a great thing to watch on a day like this. Any day, actually.
Damnit Mark Hamill is amazing, and I'll always love him.
Lol his voice impressions of Harrison and George were perfect
Thanks for posting and sharing with us for those who can't get there.
God, Mark is such a goof. I love him.
The sound system is quite bad. Sounds like it was recorded a long, long time ago in a land very, very far away
I've heard a lot worse. Between the sound system, audience noise and the recording device, upload online, often what we get to hear is pretty horrendous. This wasn't great but it could have been worse. The visual recording was pretty good.
Mark looks old but he has such a youthful spirit it makes him seem twenty years younger.
Many, mucho, MONDO T-H-A-N-K-S--!! to whomever shot and loaded this up. I thought I knew lots about the behind the scenes of STAR WARS ... but with this recent Mark Hamill interview, it opened many doors of one of the most important reasons in my professional life from way back when to now.
Thanks twice!
D.A.
Wow, this was amazing. I don't want to spoil Star Wars 7 for anybody, but I'll say this, Luke Skywalker was both underwhelming and overwhelmingly amazing in the new movie. It's nice to see him here paying attention to the fans and all that good stuff.
yep
People keep forgetting we still have TWO more movies left for Hamill to shine
Ally Bray
Oh, no. I am definitely not forgetting that. I absolutely cannot wait for him to do some freakin badass Jedi stuff in the future.
Percy Jackson Son of Neptune Not to mention he looks rather distinguished with that beard :3
Ally Bray
He must be taking after ol' Ben Kenobi
Thanks for taking the time and effort to share this with all us other UPF's, Ricky. Look forward to the next podcast.

+HoodoHoodlumsRevenge Hell yes
As a fan of Mark and his work, so blessed to be part of the family. Loved that he did Joker. Between him and Troy they're the best Joker voice actors.
Mark is all awesome!!
Great commentary by Mark!
I am not a big Star Wars fan, but I loved watching this and hearing all of his stories from his various projects. Another great video.
I was there, it was amazing. It was almost impossible to get inside. He was amazing on The Flash.2015's gonna be even more amazing. Yoda and Darth Sidious! I was kinda hoping for Harrison Ford, but this is just as awesome!
mark looks great im so excited for episode 7 hahaha
Love hearing tidus talk about star wars lol
19:02 I think we found Joaquin Phoenix preparing his Joker laugh 5 years in advance
I LOVE Mark Hamill and James Arnold Taylor!!
I love how he doesn't even consider the prequels when asked which star wars is his favorite
To be fair, he wasn't in the prequels, and I think he'd naturally have more affection for the projects he had a real connection with the production for.
He also calls the prequels the "philharmonic" to the original's "garage band"
ZoldierrZzz they're bantha poodoo.
I completely understand and know what he has said about them at other times. If I were in his position I'd say the same things out of respect for George Lucas. I really don't enjoy the prequels myself but I will defend George because he's also somewhat responsible for creating 3 fantastic star wars movies as well as 3 not so fantastic ones. Plus he did redeem himself by selling it to Disney, they are making all the right choices with this next film and I cant wait to see it. Oh and heyy ZoldierrZzz, nice to see you too
Uh... The prequels aren't star wars. They are a lie.
WOW, that was great, Mark H is quite a character and all around a good Joe.....
11:04 makes me laugh so hard because of how natural it comes out but it truly does sound ridiculous. XD
Don't forget "but I was going in to Toshi's station to get some power converters!"
Thank you!! No fan left behind!
Thank you for sharing this!
wow so cool...mark is such a great interviewer....he answered every question and then some....love it that he appreciates the fans so much:)
Mark's excitement is contagious.
Mark is awesome!
This is so great! Thanks for sharing!!
Awe I was there today and was in line for star tours so I missed this
That was awesome. Mark is great. I love hearing about his career and his voice acting roles.
Thanks for posting this
THANK YOU!!
Luke's gonna rock an Obi-Wan beard in VII
I loved this. Thanks so much for uploading it!
That was simply wonderful.
Person taking pictures: NAILED IT!
Mark Hamill is absolutely awesome.
Welcome to the Himalayas!!!!
Awesome! I watched this at the stage area at Hollywood Studios.
Thanks for the upload man
I hope they show only teaser trailers before the release of episode VII. I want us to be amazed.
J. J. is the KING of secrecy. Don't worry about getting spoiled.
Well they still convert the film to digital. I think the reason film was used is that J J isn't a fan of digital cameras and also film is good for remastering years later
*****
Its nothing George Lucas didnt already do himself when he had full controll over the franchise
***** 4 & 5 where OK. 6, Lucas introduced the Ewoks to appeal to a "younger audience" (make more $ of the kids by showing cute characters.) The movie wasn't a flop, per se', but it DEFINITELY took away from the Star Wars movie. In fact, every SW project AFTER ESB was a flop and ploy to make money. Only Lucas thought he had to go the way of "Parents will buy there kids anything", and $Star Wars fans will watch whatever I put out there and like it and won't ever say anything bad about me cause I'm George Lucas." It was the money from the franchise that made him lose the one thing that made Star Wars, Star Wars...his imagination.
Dude, I've seen Star Wars characters on Hey Jesse and Marvel characters on Phineas & Ferb.
I think they're already ruined, bro.
wonder how many here feels regret for the newer sw movies
THANK YOU FOR POSTING!!!!!!!
That was really cool. Thanks for posting.
He is so awesome.
What did he mumble at 10:30 when doing an impression of Harrison Ford
"Hey kid you know I did my part of the bargain."
Thanks. I couldn't figure it out and I even put on my expensive headphones and I still couldn't hear it. But what was the context of this that made everybody laugh?
Just the fact that he nailed Harrison Ford, and also in partial reference to Ford's recent comments regarding the Star Wars franchise. Oh, and btw I use dt990s, look into those if you want to hear details like that.
Pure Aggression didn't Harrison say he hates the franchise
Owen Rudy He says a lot of stuff where you don't know if he was serious or not. Like when he punched some guy in a Chewbacca mask on Jimmy Kimmel one time. Everybody thought he was serious and I'm like, "He's not going to walk up to a fan and punch them you idiots! It's a joke!" But then he says some stuff that you think might be serious.
Mark Hamill is the best! Luke Skywalker is the best character in Star Wars! Episode VII is gonna be HIS movie!
Thank u for sharing!
Thanks for posting!
Sorry, "Luke," but IG-88 is the bounty hunter droid. The medical droid is 2-1B.
And (total Mandalorian Spoiler)
IG-11 a similar droid of same model from OT years becomes a nurse droid for Baby Yoda.
Whyd you put the name is quotation marks? He IS Luke, not some phony? Why did you make this comment?? And how are you verified????
@@catfaceman1669 i find your lack of humour... disturbing
17:20 lol he scratched the mic foam off
Thanks for uploading this! :)
The Ratzenberger "cameo" was outstanding
HAPPY 65TH BIRTHDAY MARK HAMILL !!!
The Force is truly with Mark Hamill.
Where can I get that Yoda Puppet?!
I enjoyed this video with Mark Hamill. He is a funny guy.
Did anyone else notice that James Arnold Taylor is the guy that voice acted Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Friend or Foe?
"Hey kid..."
I love him!!!!
Let's all agree, we've all seen Mark on a bad day, and he's getting back into that shape.
Brilliant Thanks !!
14:01 thats is a fundamental part of life and what separates a lot of the sucessful people from the unsuccessful people
Mark Hamills voice is so awesome. : P
You can't hate the star wars people they're so nice
Mark Hamill is so out of this world.
One of these years I swear I'm going to make it to Star Wars Weekend.
Is it bad that I never knew Mark voiced one of my favorite Jokers? D:
Like he said, the credits roll so fast and nobody really pays attention to them. But I should maybe start doing that.
LOOK CAREFULLY AT 17.00 MINS HAHA THE MIC BALL FELL OFF
I was there!
4:40 Mark speaking the truth... I LOVE What JJ is doing by not telling us everything...
I loved Mark's story about how he and all of the production staff from "Empire Strikes Back" started speaking like Yoda when they started shooting Yoda's scenes with Luke. That little Yoda puppet that James brought to this panel looked a little strange, but it was funny he had it there for Mark to play around with, especially at 24:47-24:50, LOL!
Damn, that girl in the BG can do a mean Joker laugh!!
