I love how Mark is actually surprised and disappointed that the interview is over - showing how comfortable he was and having a great time with fans. What a guy.
Mark hamill is one of the reasons star wars is so vibrant.. he's not just an actor in the films: he LOVES the films... He's a fan like us so he's easy to connect with.
Mark is as nice as you might think. I met him once outside the theater in San Francisco ( Amadeus) and Mr. Hamill was very kind and funny. I would so love to take him and Mary Lou to dinner with my wife to The Magic Castle in Hollywood.
Will forever be a Mark Hamill fan. He's just an all-around great guy whom has mastered his craft in whatever endeavor he sojourns in. And he's still a heart-throb.
Mark was born to play Luke Skywalker, because like Christopher Reeve with Superman, he's everything you'd hope him to be as a person. When Luke showed up in Mando, we didn't just cry because we love Luke -- we cried because of how much we love MARK as Luke.
SPOILER!!!!! Seeing Mark Hamill in his Jedi robes at the end of the movie with the Binary sun theme playing brought a tear to my eye. Not a single word was utter in this scene betwwen Rey and Luke but their silence spoke 1000 words. Luke looked like a broken man....The last 30 years have been a struggle..
+Jeansie That scene at the end was one of the most amazing things in Star Wars History, a perfect ending to the film. SPOILER . .kinda I also loved the look on Reys face when looked at Luke and presented him with Anakins old Lightsaber, it kinda looks like shes saying: "Help me Luke Skywalker, your my only hope."
I remember hearing that story about the earpiece in Empire of Dreams. "Hey! I got the Stones!"Also, we have Ratchet interviewing Luke Skywalker here. Mind = blown.
There are very few actors in the world that could have the response that he is given when he cames out on stage as well as left. So much adoration for Mark Hamill and his flagship character, Luke Skywalker.
interviews with mark are the only videos ill spend an hour watching . he is so endearing and entertaining like i could listen to him talk all day. i hope i get to meet this legend one day !
Saw an interview with David Tennant, who was astounded by the catering on American films. So much, so good. David said that on British productions they're lucky to get "tea and biscuits."
On that episode of The Flash as soon as the new Trickster asked the old Trickster why he chose him, I knew Mark was going to do the Empire line. I just knew it. I think that's the happiest a TV show has ever made me. Mark delivered the line perfectly!
I can't believe I watched the whole thing. I clicked on it when it was one of those videos on the side of the webpage and didn't realize until immediately after how long this video actually is. I rolled my eyes and figured I'd only watch the first ten minutes before moving on, but my God is Mark engaging! This was the second interview video I've seen of him and I had no idea this one would be so good!
I watched this in April but now again while visiting at my parents house. My mother actually came to ask if something was wrong with me cause she heard me making all these weird noises. Nah man, I was just freaking out and screaming through pretty much the whole video cause this is so freakin' epic oh wow.
the fact that mark was surprised about his emmy nomination for the one scene and was willing to reject it because of its efforts and what is required to stack against other actors for awards. very amazing and humble man Mark Hamill
God Mark you da man brother! You've been a par of my life since 1977!! And now your a part of my kids life as we collect 30 learns later!! Thank you and if you ever read this know you figure and actor character is pretty dang cool!!!! Thanks and enjoy I'm sure one CRAZY life this has made for you and your family! Props to you.........
Marks such a non ego down to earth personable actor. Thats not easy to find these days. Thanks Mark! Best to you and your's. Been a fan since I was 8...now 46 shhhhh.
Oh my I so love when Mark is talking about "more more more" and "I have the Stones in my ear" Mr. Hamill you are indeed a rock star! I will do magic for you anytime.....Magic Castle, a party or where ever. Continued success sir.
This is fantastic, Mark Hamill does a really good impression of Sir Alec. This is fantastic because James Arnold Taylor does a terrific impression of Ewan McGregor/Obi Wan Kenobi, having voiced Obi Wan in The Clone Wars.
17:31 Wow. What a great impression of Alec. .....Yeah, I just said his first name. I'm on that level with him. XD I really enjoy the star wars celebration interviews with Mark, he always comes back it seems here and so does James Arnold Taylor. Love it. ^_^
47:40 Super Attractive girl in Luke Skywalker's Return of the Jedi costume cosplay. I must remember this girl for later because she is insanely attractive and her costume is really cool
Okay.... Mark going up to the British extras for the medal ceremony at the end of "New Hope," and explainig to them they're in a scifi movie and they all had just saved the galaxy, is something very like what Luke might have done. Working with him must be a joy. George chose very, very well.
So much respect for Mark Hamill, a truly great down to earth guy for an intergalactic warrior lol! very worthy of his success. The MC interrupted WAY too much.
What a great guy! He is as loyal to his fans as they are to him! How many other actors can you say that about? I really hope he gets the biggest truckload of money from the new movie because ALL of the actors from the FIRST movie got very little because they are total unknowns at the time.
26:58 I think 'the making of SW', but the movie would be something interesting. And it could be a good story, as we are missing as fans the fun actors and stunt people had. Plus to see David Prowse throwing tantrum, Ian being tired of filming Palpatine's falling down the shaft etc. It could be good comedy-drama.
I love how Mark is actually surprised and disappointed that the interview is over - showing how comfortable he was and having a great time with fans.
What a guy.
Yeah. One hour was NOT enough time.
Mark hamill is one of the reasons star wars is so vibrant.. he's not just an actor in the films: he LOVES the films... He's a fan like us so he's easy to connect with.
+Gregory Dietz To add.. I CAN'T WAIT to see him reprise the Luke role again.. it's going to be awesome!
+Click to Revive You're just dumb.
@@oscopin74 Aged like milk

Oooooh My God Mark is so frigging awesome, I wish him nothing less than the best possible life he can have.
+Olle Rönn really you need professional help

Mark Hamill is a great storyteller.
Mark Hamill always has something really nice to say about everyone he works with, he's so positive and great. One of my favorite actors tbh...
Mark is as nice as you might think. I met him once outside the theater in San Francisco ( Amadeus) and Mr. Hamill was very kind and funny. I would so love to take him and Mary Lou to dinner with my wife to The Magic Castle in Hollywood.
He's so funny. Its good to see that he is still himself after all these years.
I love when he impersonates Harrison Ford!
Prince Phillip No timecode 0/10
Apsis Motion Pictures 28:20
Prince Phillip Impersonation of Sir Alec Guinness is longer and waaay better 17:25 (few times from this moment)
+Prince Phillip. I like how he impersonates HF but even better that he used psychology to get the "background arteests" to cooperate.
+KlassyKat45 Extras :)
Will forever be a Mark Hamill fan. He's just an all-around great guy whom has mastered his craft in whatever endeavor he sojourns in. And he's still a heart-throb.

Yea his look was utterly brilliant. A haunted man. It ended the movie on such a high note.
+Kale P I felt so touched
+Jeansie Ironically the last 30 years of Mark Hamill's life was a blast for him.
+Jeansie That scene at the end was one of the most amazing things in Star Wars History, a perfect ending to the film.
SPOILER . .kinda
I also loved the look on Reys face when looked at Luke and presented him with Anakins old Lightsaber, it kinda looks like shes saying:

I remember hearing that story about the earpiece in Empire of Dreams. "Hey! I got the Stones!"Also, we have Ratchet interviewing Luke Skywalker here. Mind = blown.
smartpersonjdt Well technically it's also Obi wan interviewing Luke too.
smartpersonjdt Luke Skywalker? You mean the Joker?
I have watched this all the way through twice... the admiration I have for this man continues to grow! He's so humble and just amazing with his fans!
Mark's an awesome interviewee. Great personality and sense of humor, and he's so interesting to listen to.
He does a great Sir Alec Guinness!
He does an excellent one! I love it
+Screen Team It's not great it's PERFECT! He also does a PERFECT Harrison Ford!
using her boobs to get views
There are very few actors in the world that could have the response that he is given when he cames out on stage as well as left. So much adoration for Mark Hamill and his flagship character, Luke Skywalker.
It's crazy he was a young man in his 20s whining about power converters. Now we see him at 64 years old. Can you believe it?
+GooseHinson But I was gonna go to Tosche Station to pick up some power converters.
+Jacob Wojtowicz You must do what you feel is right, of course.
Jacob Wojtowicz you can waste time with your friends after your chores
And he is just even more whiny.
interviews with mark are the only videos ill spend an hour watching . he is so endearing and entertaining like i could listen to him talk all day. i hope i get to meet this legend one day !
Ikr
I wish he would just hurry up and go pick up those damn power converters.
That was epic. What a legend!
I've watched this more times than I'd like to admit :)
Same
That introduction w/ foo fighters' "hero" playing was awesome.
I would love to meet Mr. Hamill one day. Very genuine and you can tell he truly appreciates his fans. Great man!
-What was the best food on the set?
-Well it is England.
HAHAHHAH
+Olle Rönn Guleböj
+Olle Rönn So, fish and chips!
Ireland, But I can forgive him. After all, doesn't he come from Alaska...?
Saw an interview with David Tennant, who was astounded by the catering on American films. So much, so good. David said that on British productions they're lucky to get "tea and biscuits."

best interview of all time...this day will be long remembered.
This guy can do an impression of anyone.
Mark, you better be immortal.
"He feels the way you feel in terms of wanting practical effects, real sets" I'm fucking down for that!
+r0bw00d Same here. He's like everybody's best friend.
I watched this in April but now again while visiting at my parents house. My mother actually came to ask if something was wrong with me cause she heard me making all these weird noises. Nah man, I was just freaking out and screaming through pretty much the whole video cause this is so freakin' epic oh wow.
Aww, that was so sweet, the nice things he had to say about working with Ian McDiarmid. :)
Thanks so much for sharing this!! It's a great help especially since so many folks who were at Celebration 2015, were unable to get into this panel.
Mark is basically the Star Wars equivalent of George Takei and we love him for it.
He does a perfect Alec Guinness imitation. I'm very impressed.
Mark Hamill is soooo cool!!! I mean how humble can you be! Coolest guy ever.
The six year old who loved Star Wars is still screaming and cheering
the fact that mark was surprised about his emmy nomination for the one scene and was willing to reject it because of its efforts and what is required to stack against other actors for awards. very amazing and humble man Mark Hamill
didnt know that guy was this charismatic and cool
I can't believe he quoted that Simpsons episode. That's one of my favorite lines.
I didn't know Mark Hamill was such a class act. Tidus as well. Great show! May the Force be with them... always!
God Mark you da man brother! You've been a par of my life since 1977!! And now your a part of my kids life as we collect 30 learns later!! Mark Hamil is the sweetest guy
"...and its been driven by Darth Vader!!! Hunny..(shaken voice!)." ROFLMAO!!! My hero! :) God bless and best wishes...hope meet you live once.
Oh my I so love when Mark is talking about "more more more" and "I have the Stones in my ear" Mr. Hamill you are indeed a rock star! I will do magic for you anytime.....Magic Castle, a party or where ever. Continued success sir.

Awesome Video at The Beginning
17:31 Wow. What a great impression of Alec.
.....Yeah, I just said his first name. I'm on that level with him. XD
I really enjoy the star wars celebration interviews with Mark, he always comes back it seems here and so does James Arnold Taylor. Love it. ^_^
Wow.....he had me laughing so much in this interview. :)
The Joker and Luke Skywalker. I mean. When america loses him, it's going to be a national loss
Not only America, but the entire world.
Great continuation of the series, really ell done tying a lot of elements from the first three films into one to revamp a new set of adventures...
Might be neat if they do a movie where there is an old Joker and they use Mark Hamill.
He seems like an awesome dude, the force is strong in mark Hamill.
I'm super hyped about Star Wars and Foo Fighters right now, and I get a Star Wars video beginning with a Foo Fighters song. Thank you, UA-cam
So down to earth. Not many like him.
He is an incredibly charming guy, fascinating and extremely interesting!
16:55 For those curious about Hamill's Guinness impression
Hamill is sooooo charasmatic and wonderful you could listen to him talk all day
Sometimes I don’t think Mark Hamill knows he’s Mark Hamill.
Awesome 👍
highlight of my life walking inside the James bond sound stage! so much movie magic happened there!
He interrupted the start of the clip to yell back to the fans I LOVE YOU BACK!
No one in Hollywood is that cool.
47:40 Super Attractive girl in Luke Skywalker's Return of the Jedi costume cosplay. I must remember this girl for later because she is insanely attractive and her costume is really cool

Haha
He said,
"The force is strong in my family.
I have it.
My Father had it--HAS it!"😂
Este actor Mark Hamill es Maravilloso un Jedi de ❤🤗
That was a lot of fun to watch, thanks for posting it.
One day I want to hear someone ask him a Hobgoblin question. Just once!
he's been doing the joker voice for so long it drips into regular speech
i love mark so much
So much respect for Mark Hamill, a truly great down to earth guy for an intergalactic warrior lol! very worthy of his success. The MC interrupted WAY too much.
"i don't if i am allowed to say i am in the movie"
so that wasn't a joke, he really wasn't in the movie
It was not a joke. He was talking about legality.
Legendary Niwatori all the actor can say they are in the movie for marketing reasons.
thing is, luke was not even a full minute in the movie.
Lucas Melo so what you are say is he was in the movie
Lucas Melo to truuueeeeee
Mark is the best!!! His Harrisson Ford and Alec Guiness impressions are amazing!
Really humble and friendly guy.
And now it’s twenty nineteen and the betrayal has happened
This guy is great with voices, can't believe he didn't get into voice acting earlier.
He did. Among a few other things he's the fairy (!), Sean, in Ralph Bakshi's "Wizards."
What a great guy! He is as loyal to his fans as they are to him! How many other actors can you say that about? I really hope he gets the biggest truckload of money from the new movie because ALL of the actors from the FIRST movie got very little because they are total unknowns at the time.
Mark Hamill is amazing. He's so funny and dedicated.
Alec Guinness sounds like the 20th century Harrison Ford.
"im in the movie" is an awfully generous statement
What an absolute legend.
MARK, Stuart Freeborn said he did put a bit of himself into Yoda, it's on the Special documentary with the box set.
Yeah, Empire of Dreams. The best SW documentary of all time
26:58 I think 'the making of SW', but the movie would be something interesting. And it could be a good story, as we are missing as fans the fun actors and stunt people had. Plus to see David Prowse throwing tantrum, Ian being tired of filming Palpatine's falling down the shaft etc. It could be good comedy-drama.
"Very Dracula and Renfield..."
Oh my God. :')
That was tremendous!! Wow!
Oh you know this is cool place to be now....it will be similar to Comic Con for next decade atleast. I went to the 30 year anniversary in May 2007.
Jesus....Mark Hamill is fucking awesome!!!! Guy absolutely loves his fans.
Wow this guy is the coolest, I'm super looking forward to him in TFA!!
IM SO HAPPY THAT IM LEFT HANDED JUST LIKE MARK
His Alec Guinness impression is absolutely uncanny
I love Hamill, he does a really good Han Solo and he is just an amazing actor
