As someone who has read the comics Nolan is DEFINETLY not the strongest, Kreeg is one of the stronger Viltrumites but there are WAY bigger fish in the sea that we haven't seen yet. You're gonna see some crazy shit go down in seasons 3 and 4 showcasing this. Also based on the content from the comics, if they adapt it well it could very well be the best season of the show by far. The story kinda just gets better and better the farther along you read in the comics so if they don't fuck it up, every season after season 2 should be peak.
This upcoming Season 3 can potentially get Invincible to trend again, as long as Amazon gives S3 the budget it deserves. It'll feature one of the best fights in the series and I'm sincerely hoping they're given an actual budget to work with (and less licensed music, but that's another discussion). cause if they don't, I highly doubt Kirkman will get the 7 seasons he plans to use to adapt the whole story.
that's so shit though. when you adapt something for a different medium you want it to be able to stand alone. if it doesnt then it's a bad adaptation even if it's still mostly enjoyable for those already familiar with the material.
I'm sure it would, but I also believe in a standalone product doing well on its own. Besides, if I end up getting proved wrong, I'll make another video
@@VividAnarchy It'll start to make more sense when we get further down the road. A lot of the aspects introduced in both season 1 and 2 will get development and payoffs later.
The fact that you think you think you being able to follow the plot despite falling asleep is ridiculous is the ridiculous thing, how do you complain about the plot having too much slice of life bullshit and the plot being too much about the main plot in the same breath? Sounds to me like you WANTED it to be bad and thats why its bad....
@@superkamijacob then I guess you’re just giving off the wrong vibes in your explanation? I mean it seems pretty arbitrary to criticize it for multiverse stuff just because of the implication that having multiverse stuff is bad because marvel overdid it. It just doesnt seem like your opinions are your own, or like you more felt a bad vibe, which is oerfectly acceptable as a personal opinion of a show.
@@kutkuknight Nah look, I understand if u don't agree with my points, but I did directly state in the video that I rewatched the show specifically on parts i fell asleep at because it wouldn't be fair to criticize something I haven't seen. I cannot change how you interpret what is my opinion, but I'd say the most non-opinionated thing I presented in this video was Amber, but that's largely due to the fact that she had already been criticized extensively fair before I watched the show. I should have expanded upon why I felt the way I did about the multiverse in the video, but was trying to make it concise, so i'll state it here: Invincible felt like a very grounded a mature story with lots of characters and plotlines to balance out. Season 1 managed to balance it out perfectly. However, by season 2 they added the multiverse. Basing upon Marvel's past experiences, I'm not thrilled with the idea of the multiverse in the first place and think it cheapens the rest of the world in whatever series it appears in. However, that isn't to say Invincible couldn't find a way to work it into their story in a way that actually works really well. Problem is, they were already stretched thin.
@@superkamijacob that’s absolutely fair and I am really glad you don’t dislike it, I was just worried there was someone who was denying himself the joys of the good bits because some random things bothered him :)
@@kutkuknight Nah man, if you watched the whole video, I actually like Invincible quite a lot and hope this part of the series is just a stumble. The aim of my content isn't to hate, but to entertain while expressing my opinion fairly. (I am pretty new at this, so i've been adapting)

Figured as much. Might make a follow-up video when those adaptations come out and highlight how the series landed on both feet :)
