I'm curious when Columbo was released on home dvd, did Universal studios use the original Henry Mancini Sunday night movie of the week opening theme song on this boxset release. If anybody has the answer to the question, I would greatly appreciate it. When I buy old tv shows like this one on dvd, I prefer it to be in the same format as I remember watching it from the original network in which it aired.
I’m kind of torn between the two - seeing as the new remaster is a lot more orange & green in hue making skin tones unrealistic, while the previous master was too purple & blue, leaning on more realistic skin colors - there has to be some even ground here!

Only the entire videos isn't in HD, its 480p.
This is not a valid comparison because your video is only in 480.

The only thing you did was use a dark filter. That's not the true brightness of the original. No way.
