I love how you keep little mess ups or mistakes in the video's. Makes them more fun and we sure can all relate to them 😁
it's absolutely important to get to see those things. Also yes, makes it much more entertaining.
Some of these spiders, like the one at 12:50, should have been rehoused ages ago. Can't believe that poor spider is sitting in that tiny cup.
Agreed.
I agree it hits different but still fun. Also I think the tarantulas got a copy of your schedule and did a hunger strike just for this video 😂😂😂
Poor T's. Must live in a too small space. Hope you quickly rehouse all of them so they can spread out their legs.
I like how spiders either respond with mild annoyance to attempts to feed them or absolute craziness.
I definitely enjoyed this video. It eases my anxiety bc alot of times my slings don't eat so it is comforting to see someone else experience the same thing!! Keep making these occasionally.
Regardless of a take down or not, it is still exciting to see the differences in the smaller spiders. To be honest any spider footage is interesting to watch. (Especially from the Dark Den) 😉
It's so nice to see tiny tarantulas! They are a big part of the hobby :D
I loved that. In goes the roach, out comes the roach. In goes the roach, out comes the roach. In goes the roach, out comes the _spider._ One way or another, someone is noping out.
You need to definitely relocate those bigger Ts to bigger enclosures.
Totally agreed. I would be so ashamed off myself if I didn't do the courtesy of rehousing a Tarantula sling into a container that is much more accommodating. Being so cooped up with no space to move. Shameful. Truly shameful. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm sure he has plans to rehome them as soon as he has the proper enclosure prepared for them 🙄 He loves all his animals and takes excellent care of them
@@Itachilover3450 The things I don't understand is that he has a lot of empty enclosure, I don't understand why he didn't put them in it
awe look at the 9:55 spider! hes removing the silk at the top and it looks at him like "HOW DARE YOU!"
I love slings! They just have such personality when they're little. So stinking cute! Last 2 🫠🖤
YOU MADE THIS VERY ENTERTAINING! Thanks for the content and I wish you great success.
Yes, just as exciting, BUT the thumbnail is the real winner! Lol
I used to breed praying mantis many years ago, watching this gave me flashbacks of having a sea of boxes with 2nd instar mantis (I let nature take its course for 1st shed) in them and a few hours of feeding them to come each day :).
The slings have too little space!!!
Feeding tiny tarantulas is a little different but still fun. I have a tiny pterinochilus murinus “obt” sling that never disappoints. 👌🏼
smol take downs are just as exciting
Very exciting...you never know if the prey will escape the spider or the spider escape the enclosure...lol
Catching up on some of the older
Videos but yeah this is great would like to see more on the care and upkeep of the slings watering and upgrading enclosures 👌🏻
I love seeing you feed slings, and also that you show when they don't take it too, it rly shows how its just a normal part of the process
Exciting, but also full of bloopers, which is equally entertaining
It’s a different exciting… it’s the same thrill of the hunt… just on a smaller scale 🕷️🕷️💚🕷️🕷️
Yes! I think the lack of size is made up with by the 50/50 chance of them causing drama XD!
Right now I have 6 slings, 1 juvie (T Albopilosus) and 1 adult that's a dwarf species C elegans. I have them in bigger enclosures than you do, and they get to "hunt" their prey, sometimes they even roll over while tackling the prey. They are so cute. I have a N chromatus sling who is afraid of small small mealworms. I squish their head, so they wiggle but can't burrow, and when he tries to get it and it wiggles, he freaks out and runs away. He will watch it for hours and keep trying. Eventually he will eat it when it dies.
My I mira, the blue footed T, otherwise known as the trapdoor tarantula has had 2 of the best take downs. The first, she was on the side of her enclosure and I was dropping in a pin head cricket, then she jumped off the wall and tackled the cricket. I was shocked. Then last night I dropped in a pin head, and she came out of her trapdoor and grabbed it and retreated into her burrow all in like 1.5 seconds. I didn't think she would build a trapdoor until she was a bit bigger, I mean it's not 100% perfect, but it's 90% perfect.
My point is, slings are fun to feed, but you can't enjoy watching them as much when they are in the vials, unless they are super small like the jumping spiders, because there's not enough room to see very good.
I think there is a different level of enjoyment when you see slings vs full adults.
Sling feedings are usually more informative videos so at least I learn something new about spiders and their growth rates.
Sure we may see 1-5 takedowns but it's very different than say the 20 takedowns of adults where we know what to expect in a way.
Idk if that made sense but I love all your videos so. Yeah!
Love from Canada
They are looking awesome & the take down's were just as good as a big one👌 Is very satisfied thanks for your time
The tiny pulchers are so adorable! 😍
I enjoy watching the sling feeding videos. It is definitely still exciting for me.
omg the p. pulchers slings are soo fluuuuffyyy ☆_☆
Petko for those vials you can use a vice clamp so they stay in place, maybe put a rubber mat in the claw then clamp em.
This black t-shirt is really good! Will you have it in the shop?
mushrooms usually mean the environment is really good and the soil is nutritious!
Tiny jumping spider, tons of poop..😂😂😂 super cute take down!
Any video from Petko is a great video!
Love that you keep the mess ups in the videos! It’s sweet to feed babies of many legs!
I'm glad I'm not the only one having troubles feeding my slings 😂🤣😂
What I love about feeding spiderlings is that when they refuse food... That should mean that they're about to molt! Which is exciting in it's own way ;)
The thumbnail got me. 😂 I use glasses to see, but taking them off an squinting works better. 😂
Hello great video information and feeding Petcko
I live in a caravan and my borneo black sling bolted and lived in my heater for 6 weeks lol very edgey time
Maybe you could put an arboreal insect species like stick insects in there to cohabit in the upper area of that huge enclosure with Bella. Little jumping spiders might also do well if you could feed them with something like flightless fruit flies. None of these species should be a threat to a huge terrestrial tarantula.
I like to watch the littles get fed. I hope you'll post the re-housings. 🕷🕸🤍
Looking forward to some rehouses soon. How about doing a nature trip again to find some wood that you can use for small enclosures?
You are also gonna need a whole bucket of "sand for the texture" for your huge terrarium😁.
Awesome video as usual, Petko! :D
Keeping her in that nice large terrarium is fine, people seem to forget that in the wild they don’t live in little small boxes but in a whole jungle. I don’t know what kind of tarantula you have in there but the way your talking about it makes me think of a Goliath Bird Eater.
we actually enjoy the feeding video hahahaha, i can really see in your face you are frustrated on the first couple ts didint eat hahaha
Awesome Video dark den
They are much more active than adults. So, yeah!
I have a P. Pulcher sling about the size of the big ones, and they are ravenous eaters. I feed it every 3 days, a good meal and expect it to molt again, but it just keeps sitting out waiting for more roaches 😂
great vid, we just love seeing em all, don't always have to eat.
Finally I found youuu
Maybe not quite as Pow! Exciting but the cuteness and funny stuff is very very entertaining!! Love them!! I’ll be very happy to watch them anytime!
I love that big enclosure ❤ so natural. I’m really starting to like tarantulas. I have to do more research before I would get one. I don’t know if I can keep one in my house in summer it’s like 33 Celsius and in the winter like 15 to 16 Celsius. Love you’re video ❤
First that ate fly fast jumping spider, his now his name is Speed Racer! Lol
Petko! Little babies are very sensitive, to lights, to vibration etc. Maybe you are a bit too rough when handling and opening the tubs, and maybe that puts them babies in 'caution' mode.
So tiny... so deadly.
Thank you for the video Petko! It brings me joy that I'm not the only one that having a bad day sometimes ;)
Tiny ones eat with like they’ve never had been fed a day in their short lives
I wasn't expecting a comedy! :)
New video on scorpions, please. It has been a long time!
Wonderful video Petko. How is Felix?
Oh I haven't been able to see you Sooo long!! Missed you! One day, if ever traveling, I'm heading your way. Love to meet 'your family' lol and your Human family and how they feel about your other friends and lots of questions of couse!
cans for the sling much too small then you urgently need to change!
you should know
The baby pulchras look like they have leg warmers on ❤️❤️❤️
Petko both are amazing
I will love one of these baby spiders
Very exciting video
There is no thread in isopods and T's only with very small slings that dont make a protection web, maby avoid combos like hoffmannseggi & leavis dalmatian and smaller t's and spiders. haven't tryed everything so ofc but even juvie jumper goes well with pruinosus ( cuban orange )
* whispers* sometimes on Friday* really had me laughing XD
Love all your videos. Can we get an update on Felix?
😂 i think your videos cured my depression 😆
I bought my first sling a week ago, so this video was perfect in time for me. I bought a "Nhandu Chromatus" for 5 euros, maybe buying a few more at the Expo in Houten this Sunday. 😄
(Tips are welcome but keep in mind i do own a bunch of reptiles and insects already so i am not completely new to the hobby.)
if its super tiny ive heard to keep them more moist until they grow a bit bigger
11:30, why this one is in a so tiny enclosure, she need much space
I love rehousing videos especially yours, most of the channels say that subs don’t want to see rehousing videos, I do I really enjoy them, please can you do some, pppllleeeaaassseee! ❤️🕷🕸📷🎥📸
Alot of mushrooms are very beneficial etc. But that being said, she can only go so far away from it, and spores are not good maybe? Another question?
yes, such small spiders are really cute. How are you doing and how are youre wife and child? I hope you all are well.
We call those isopods Woodlouse in UK xx
Great video
Camera shy spiders
The excitement is in not knowing if your spider is hungry...
They may not be as cool as the adults but still fun to watch
What would happen if you would take Bella, Linda and Bonita in the same enclosure? Would it work?
Any updates on Felix, 6:49 I believe the tan colored ones are males while the darker ones are females
Not sure how many people watch both but hearing the (presumably royalty free) music from Tolarian Community College was odd to me in this one.
i am not disappoint when spider does not take its prey, spider would eat if it needed to, so its np.
Mushrooms won't hurt.
Bro how do you take care of every one of those spiders Tarantulas different insects So crazy
I love jumping spiders
That should be a P. Metallica communal or some kind of enclosure for a rare species of Avic.
Give us more tiny takedowns!
Excuse me. Can those tiny spiders eat small dead bugs such as like cockroach?
We want more 🤘
I did not know they have a siderweb
How many legs are in that room I wonder.
More legs or eyes? Lol.
Are you OK if I send you a picture of something?
I like feeding my slings fruit flys, it’s very entertaining
Petko, when can we meet your beautiful daughter?! At least some photo maybe? Please 🙏
yeah, more of it. even if they dont take down anything :)
could you tell me where you get those sling containers with the square bottoms, cant find them.
