I’m in trouble fell torn bicep, rotator cuff extensive, constant pain laying down and terrible pain in entire arm from top of shoulder to fingers .. my 3 rd Ortho made me fill the best but bad news only 50 to 75 % recovery and 6 months to completely heal or Reverse shoulder down 3 to 4 months can’t believe this has happened to me .

Yes the options are not great. I have very good success with reverse total shoulders. People recover faster and have less pain then having a rotator cuff repair.

@@OrthoEvalPal First I appreciate your reply .. I have been told at 55 years old I should not have this procedure done but I believe I have no choice especially after a 50 to 75 percent chance of a recover of success with a normal rotator cuff procedure..

Ortho EVAL Pal With Paul Marquis ok thanks. I’ve had three xrays, one ultrasound,,,, I went to a shoulder specialist/surgeon and now getting mri on the 18th. I am convinced I have a tear or have done something very bad to my shoulder I cannot raise it above my breast bone without constant pain all three of the other doctors just wanted to give me shots of Cortizone and send me on my way the surgeon I just went to I have hope now that we can get straight to the problem. Luckily I have great insurance

ok what happened next I'm in the same boat and I wouldn't walk across the road and piss on my surgeon if he was on fire. 4 years and 4 surgeries and now I'm left with a C bacteria acne infection in my non- working shoulder

2:45 Shouldn't it be painful for the patient to try and resist the ex and Int rotation if they have multiple tears?
His facial expression shows no pain. Or is no pain the normal pattern?
