One of the main mistakes beginners make is to believe they need dozens of brushes. A good Filbert brush (two sizes), a flat, a small (for details), and a blending brush it's all you need for essentially everything. There are full famous artists who only use limited amount of brushes. The key thing is to know what to do with a brush.

Dude.... I was just complaining about how I have paid $22,000 plus in college tuition and was NEVER taught how to use a fan brush. Lmao! This didn't cost me anything! Thank you so much!!!

Hi Rameen, if you're using acrylics, you may use many different mediums. Mediums are used to create different textures in your painting. I sometimes use floetrol in my acrylics which helps them last longer (stay wet) and it also makes it easier to blend colors
