Right click, never recommend this channel again. Worked for me. Another mole shows up, always never show them again.

For me I play OSRS on ironman mode, not for the sense of accomplishment, but because it forces you to learn where all the little shops are and all the drop tables so you can carefully plan out your progression, calculate the odds, and execute a plan. The execution of the plan is what is satisfying for me.
Running snape grass was a great money maker back in the day, I'm pretty sure I remember competing with those bots when I was trying to make some profit selling p pots lol

@@fewafew2138yeah you’re just wrong there was plenty of good servers back in the day and you only got keyloggers if you were downloading clients which anyone with a brain wasn’t doing
I do wish the official had a 'boss mode' to learn bosses without needing to use/lose so much time and gp as an iron or uim. Obviously it would have 0 connection to the main game, just to learn some things like zulrah without needing to jump through hoops just to get back to the boss. That is what I can see private servers being good for
use the beta servers while they are up my dude, I am very pvm shy and they helped me to learn zulrah, and im starting to learn some of the raids now too. you just have to go into the game settings and toggle an option to port over your profile. It's very good because all the content is there and you can spawn in whatever supplies and equipment you want, and just try out content you don't have access to on your normal account.
This already exists in game. It's the reason why when you die you can recover your items for a fee. And 100K sounds like a lot, but all you really need to do is complete the Varrock diary and claim staves from Zaff, craft the staves, and high alch them. It's 2110 gp profit per staff even if you buy the nature runes. This can net you 250k gp profit per day or in other words 25 boss fails per day and if you need more you can hop worlds and buy more staves once you've completed the quest to make Zaff stock battlestaves.

If everyone could truly experience the satisfaction of accomplishing goals by working on them yourself. This might ruin the GE but would be cool to see. I haven't seen anyone make flour or a meat pie since my f2p days.
I don't think private servers should be controversial. These are people who wouldn't play the base game anyway due to bad dev decisions

You do realize basically all rsps players have already accomplished alot in osrs over years of playing? Most of us are simply sick of jagex & at the end of the day it's a game but guess what? Rsps have close knit communities which I personally don't think deserve hate
Just because you're wasting more time on a game than us isn't a valid argument as stated before I'd rather be in a lovely community than putting up with shitty developers who support bots like governments support the drug trade.
Saying to never touch a rsps as if osrs isn't dirty itself is ironic, rsps are completely fine it's usually people like you who wasted alot of years you'll never get back that defend osrs like some f*cking shiny trophy when in reality, who cares?
At the end of the day we're all doing the same thing playing a video game. I'd rather support people with a heart than support jagex anymore that's for damn sure & we don't need some V-word to say otherwise.
I agree. In my opinion too, a lot of private servers fixes what Jagex does wrong. I've spent almost 2 decades with Jagex and it's been like being in a chokehold. I still have my memberships, I still pay it yearly but the satisfaction rate + the idea of time is minimum. With an RSPS I can actually play the game without years of prep (or months of sweaty grinding to offset the year timeframe) and actually ENJOY the game without fear of constantly losing everything.
I saw something recently, RS3 is releasing repeated bosses still. There's so much dead content on both RS3 and OSRS that gets forgotten and barely re-vamped. Shoot, or even the lack of thought put into the content prior to release on how to make it not go dead is just not there, at all. We've seen it for decades and no one can even deny that Jagex is king of releasing content that will in fact be super meaningless.
On RSPS's all content is curated, it's there for a reason. Which is why I can respect a solo dev's project vs an entire company who does nothing besides put out polls for new content that will in fact be dead in a years time 90% of the time. Cool use of spending membership money..Not.
