I know this was made before the expansion reveal show but one thing they added was a separate race upgrade for the turbo which includes Anti lag...included on at least 630 cars, their words

The single clutch transmission in the aventador was replicated perfectly in forza Motorsport 7… it sucks that it wasn’t replicated the same way I’m horizon 5..

Actually the DeLorean was offered with an automatic, It was less popular and thus less known but the Forza devs didn't get that wrong. it is an interesting choice though

I hate to point this out but the cars you talk about having the insane grip have traction control on and in your grip tests… you don’t. If they turned the tc off they’d spin just like they do in the game with it off

The Jaguar XES has a different exhaust setup to the F Type so it doesn't have the burble tune. Jaguar also have a software update on both the V6 and V8 that reduces the pops and bangs anyway (although many owners have refused it). Aside from being a bit antisocial it screws up the fuel injectors and the cats if used excessively. On my (real not FH5) F type I turn off the active exhaust even in dynamic mode as the pops and bangs are annoying after a while.
As for the Demon FH5 only has the Demon in road mode, and doesn't have it fitted with the full drag pack that it comes with (skinny front tyres etc). It's not surprising it is little different from the Hellcat in that setup.
I applaud you for turning off the active exhaust. Too many people think pops and bangs sound cool but in reality they sound terrible. I've heard civics with fart cans that sound better than some haha

I hate how they changed the sound of the Napier Railtun in FH4 it literally was So Crazy sounding when it was First added to FH4 and then they changed it it was Wicked sounding I personally think it was the best sounding car in the game it was so loud when it was going I literally had to pull my headphones off i loved how loud it was and when you went in a tunnel it was Screaming. I Really Really Hope they changed it back to the way it was when it was first added.🙏

To fix the wheelspin problem put drag tyres on that way it wont wheelspin. Also the thing I hate about the demon is the gearing it’s so slow

Hi im from UAE and we need middle east cars like Nissan patrol and of course you have a nismo gets 50 more hp but this is the classy car if you want a drag car you have the nissan VTC its 280 hp but if you modified it you will get up to 3500/4000 hp i hope you like the idea and make a video about it. :)

i8 got speakers in exhaust irl to produce more sound so that is accurate
They need to fix a lot of cars, for example the dodge demon from 2018 does a quarter mile in 9.65 seconds and a 0-60 in 2.1 seconds. Playground games gives it an awful launch, a false 0-60 time, and makes the quarter mile 2 seconds behind.
idk if its just me but you cant drive silently anymore, for example the bentley contintal, in fh4 you could drive silently and if you want to open it up and enjoy the sound

You missed the 2016 bmw m2 . 1. Cant slide it for long with big angle no matter the Upgrades compared to other cars 2. The rollbar or weight Transfer to the tires is doing weird stuff (check telemetry)

They have such good launches because TC with electric cars is better than combustion because its easier to cut power to an electric motor

i was expecting actual cars like the demon he got right but half of these are just because he cant drive lmfao. 99% of the modern muscle cars have issues in this game , they suck in A class and suck in S1 class like its wild how bad they are in the only 2 classes they can be in.
The demon is fast irl but on a drag strip which is prepared, a drag strip is very sticky to help the car. Its not a huge difference compared to FH5 if you try to launch the Demon on a normal road

Slicks can help but they dont do wonders, they also need very dry conditions, if the road is a bit wet it can be even worse
Dude, you disable traction control, and then complain about unwanted drifting and burnouts. That's what traction control is for, it lowers your power output when it detects your wheels start spinning due to loss of traction, usually result of turning too agressively, or suddenly flooring gas.
Cars been prone to oversteer is a known gimmick of Forza, even Forza Motorsport does that. Forza Horizon 5 launched with more realistic steering and people compained, a lot, about heavy understeer, so old steering came back after few months.
If you own a Mini Cooper S, you do not need this game any more.
There is actually less than 40 deloreans with automatic transmission

Almost every car feels same to drive in forza just with different grips and sounds otherwise nothing else. they have no soul in them: thats why we dont feel connected with cars and it doesnt give any rewarding feeling in unlocking new cars.

forza is so bad at getting rear grip right. in this game it feels like you have nearly infinite front traction, especially with the right suspension tuning, but it is impossible to make most of the cars with decent power feel properly planted without a ton of downforce. tires are slippery, and i think this might be an intentional choice by the developers to limit the hook and snap a real tire does once it finds traction again. real race tires are peaky with their grip, and loss of control comes on suddenly, with little warning. in the game, however, even slicks will start to step out a little, with a gradual loss of grip at the cost of holding any substantial grip. it makes the handling predictable, but in the sense that every car is slippery and most stock cars feel sloppy.
the biggest issue, beyond even that, is that there's not much effort in making the driving into a visceral experience. gaming has always been limited in that you're primarily presented with sight and sound and occasionally a vibrating controller. any decent game goes out of its way to make up for the lack of sensation with visual and audio cues being exaggerated. in this sense, just a little bit of head movement for the first person camera could go a long way. stiff suspension should squeak and rattle the interior when hitting hard bumps or taking hard corners. weight reduction should amplify road noise and suspension noises. the camera should lurch on a hard takeoff and pitch downward on hard braking, and it should lean during hard turns. the violence of tires losing and regaining grip when you prod at the car's limits should shake the camera. this could all be tied to a multiplier in the settings to reduce or exaggerate the camera movement.
driving a car at its limits, especially race cars with stiff suspensions and roll cages, is not a comfortable experience, and it shouldn't be - even in the idealized world of forza horizon. pushing a car hard should be dramatic. it should be a little scary. right now, there's hardly a difference between cruising or driving hard or racing, and it homogenizes all of the cars and all of the driving styles into something numb.
you can tell when you're driving sloppy in a real car, and you can tell how smooth a professional racer is, even in the harshest of cars. a real car protests in the face of demanding too much, and you should really feel it when you've finally mastered and tamed the car, being able to drive smoothly and staying on the edge of the car's abilities, never dipping over. i think specifically what i'm asking for is to introduce some harsh feedback from the car to make the driving more immersive, while also aiming for the player to actually try to experience none of these effects if driving smoothly with grace, speed and control.

Im sorry but i dont think you have to much knowledge about cars. Im an actual automotive engineer and i think cars in forza have too little wheelspin. I mean you can upgrade most car over 1000hp and awd. If you leave the stock tire on a rs4 b5 for example it should have realy big wheelspin in 2 second or even third gear but most awd cars in forza dont spin after the initial launch. Also almost no car has any noticeable turbolag wich annoys me.
