    Thank you for sharing your recipe! I have a couple of questions. Where do you buy fresh yeast? Can I use butter instead of margarine? Thank you.

      Thank you for watching🥰 In my country you can buy a fresh yeast in almost every shop🙂 I believe you can use butter instead of margarine and it would be the same🙂

    Wow!Havent ever seen anyone but my mother make that. It’ was my job to grind the poppy seeds with a 250yr hand grinder. She also drizzled icing (powered sugar & milk) over after it cooled. Thanks for sharing!! Looked beautiful

    My Grandmother and Mom made this. I live in the US, and our ethnic background is Polish, Russian and Slovak. We also made one filled with ground walnuts. Wondering if anyone has tried this with Stevia instead of sugar or honey?

    • @alicealice4454
      @alicealice4454 Місяць тому

      You can do it yes but Stevia is much more sweeter than sugar so pay attention when preparing dough or fillings. I'm using Birch sugar( Erytritol) half and half normal sugar in my recipes. That works without any problems. Kind regards from Austria!🎉

      Your local cafes or nursing homes should be able to inform you of that
      Also try Asian grocery supermarkets

    How do you grind the poppy seeds? And how many ounces in a glass and a half? I was guessing 12.

    • @cookingbyjeca
      @cookingbyjeca  Рік тому

      I don't think it takes very much to make you fail a drug test, though. Way, way less than it would take to get you high.
